Nothing good
March 12, 2021

Asurion has left me in the wind countless times. Their Phone bot sucks, and does its best to drop you or keep you from any real answers that you wouldn't find in google.

Newest ordeal, they approved my claim and shipping my device, it immediately was requested to be sent back before delivery, without any excuse, email, or contact of any sort.
On top of that, if you did get in a line of waiting for a Rep to get real answers, I typically always get dropped.

I had a problem with my note 9. After 3 phones and the replacement was not a new phone as told it would be by the sprint sales person. I got a dirty replacement as my last phone b4 I had to trade it in. I was not going to keep transferring my data and photos to a new broken or used phone. They charged me $29 to replace a tinnny tiny scratch and then told me it was cracked. A lie. They refused to reimburse me. They are crooks and dishonest. Now I'm having issues with my note 20. Maybe galaxy phones are over rated. I will not purchase a new phone from Sprint and will change my service provider soon.
It was laughable that they tried to sell coverage for all my electronics. Said I get full replacement of that device. Wrong!
I don't trust them at all. And will never purchase anything from this company.
Also the system that asks you to review the customer service rep. Hahaha. It would take my answers. What a joke!

Let me preface this by saying I have never left a negative review for a product or service. I am begging all of you to NEVER, EVER purchase their services. Asurion claims that they charge a $29 deductible for screen repairs and a $99 deductible for replacements. What they do NOT tell you is that they will do everything in their power to squeeze you for every dollar they can once you make the mistake of filing a claim with them.
I sent my phone off for a cracked screen repair. My phone was sent back with a notice that it was "unrepairable" due to a crack on the back. After 3 unsuccessful attempts to get this resolved via customer service, I finally got on with a rep who explained that the "cracks" on the back were actually a couple of scratches. According to her, this meant that my phone had to be replaced, and that I would have to pay them an additional 99 dollars to get an entirely new phone. Let me stress that this damage was so minor that I had to look very closely to see the damage she was talking about. It was about that time I realized that I had been swindled. Upon looking into it further, I found that the phones they replace are repaired and resold. If this sounds like a scam, it is because it is a scam.
Asurion holds a monopoly on the phone insurance market. True to form, they use this to take advantage of their customers with misleading claims about their services and charge expensive premiums. If you want my advice, buy a phone case; not only will it same you money in the long run, but it will save you the headache of dealing with awful company.

The automated phone system is the most annoying system you will ever interact with, it will literally make your blood boil. I spent an hour just trying to get through the phone system, the first time I got through it I was told they were closed and the call ended. So not only did I have to deal with this once but twice!

I had to file an insurance claim for my phone which you should be able to complete online but that is only if you have one of the two phones that are listed online, which mine was not. Who comes up with this!?

Why as customers have we come to accept the norm of annoying, non user friendly automated phone systems? How do we make a stand? I dont pay for a monthly service to talk to robots every time I need to act on my service. Stop being cheap!

Total BS!
March 9, 2021

I received an iPhone X with a defective battery. Out of the box the battery capacity was at 83%. The phone started getting really hot and turning itself off. Asurion told me my phone was defective, and the battery could possibly explode. Fast forward a month, asurion still hasn't even shipped the replacement I was promised. The employees act like I'm speaking a foreign language, even though everything is documented in their computer. Asurion is more concerned with selling a whole home insurance scam on your electronics. Avoid like the plague. Do not waste your time or money!

Worst company ever
March 9, 2021

I had them fix my phone screen through Verizon, the guy I had an appointment with cancelled on me 2 minutes before the appointment. The next day he actually came and the guy who fixed my screen broke my whole phone so they had to send me a new one. After sending me a new phone they charged me $300 for not returning my old phone when I had two separate employees on the phone confirming that they received it. I am currently on the phone with them trying to get me money back and the lady does not know how to help me and have been on hold forever. Absolutely worst experience ever and I will NEVER go through them ever again for anything.

Ridiculous!
March 4, 2021

After three weeks of waiting for my first replacement that was supposed to be delivered in 24 hours they finally realized it had shipped back to them and been checked in as my damaged phone coming back! Last week they agree to put it top priority and ship out the phone again and I would have it by Tuesday it's now the end of business day on Thursday still no phone going on week four and when I tried to reach out via the website the person told me they don't see any notes or a claim going!

Was mislead
March 4, 2021

I purchased a dryer from whirlpool warranty ran out but I took out an extended warranty from Home Depot. It took me 3 days to get a technician to come out. I thought I was talking to someone from Home Depot but it was Asurion. The dryer was purchased in 2/19 and Asurion insisted that I provide a sales receipt. I had the paperwork for the dryer and informed this person. She never told me she was representing Asurion and would not approve the claim. I went to Home Depot showed them my paperwork. They got on the phone and set up an appointment for someone to come out. In the meantime Asurion sent another email telling me my claim was denied. I hope I never have to deal with these folks again. Horrible customer service and not helpful at all!

T-Mobile required us to send 4 trade-in phones to this company. Took 1 month to acknowledge receipt of devices. Mixed up the credit amounts, said 1 phone did not have "find my iphone" turned off, proceeded to "scrap" phone without notifying us until "$0" device credit email sent. T-Mobile made good for 3/4ths of the discrepancy, which was generous, but avoid these ASSurion schlongs at all costs, FYI their "fake" extended warranties are horrendous,

They insist on having you send your own phone back, but when I then told them I had lost my broken phones. I was charged full price to a brand new phone. They then sent me a used junk phone. I think they take peope's broken devices, try and repair them and then send them to other customers with broken phones. I shoulld also mention that they make you troubleshoot your device with them hours upon hours mutliple times before they are even willing to consider sending you a used, faulty device. I am seeking another option for phone insurance.

Samsung outsourced their premium care to asurion, and it is anything but premium. The replacement phone they sent me had more issues than my original yet they would not refund my $99 deductible or return my original phone. They expected to get both phones back to refund my money. Unfortunately, I was set to travel and needed a phone that worked not to wait around for another replacement device that I had no faith in working. Needless to say, I won't use Samsung phones or Asurion again! Almost two years of payments plus the $99 deductible was a waste, not to mention the time wasted on multiple calls to these people. Save your money!

Holy Headache
February 25, 2021

I broke my screen in March and sent my broken one back. Come January I get a charge for $175 saying I never returned my broken phone! Which, I did. I called and they said their software went haywire and charged a bunch of people accounts. Then they said it would take 7-10 business days to get the money back into my account. 15 days later I called and went through the same process. 15 days later STILL NO REFUND. I called again and this time the lady spent most of her time trying to sell me some other BS service instead of taking care of the issue. I demanded a check this time around so we will soon see if I ever actually get that in the mail!

Not worth one star
February 25, 2021

AT&T rep sold me insurance policy on phone. "You are 100% covered, and if they don't make the model you have anymore you get the next generation model." HA! IPhone Xs finally dies - green screen. Been having it for years. I file a claim. Look on Apple website - no longer available and was discontinued. But, they send me a used model of same phone. They then charge me a deductible that is higher than I can purchase a used model on secondary market. If you add that to the monthly premiums over the last few years, I could buy the best new iPhone and they would still come out ahead on what I paid. Don't use this guys. Put your premium in a piggy bank and use that when your phone breaks or crashes. On top of that AT&T threatens to charge my account additional 650 dollars because I didn't send my old phone back - well I would if they had actually sent me the replacement phone (notice I didn't say new). Had to call them about the threat and they used package tracking and said, oh sorry you are right. We'll fix that. Then I start getting these messaged every other day threatening me when I still didn't have the replacement. Would give less than one star if I could. Someone should file a suit against these guys for for such dishonest marketing and service.

Asurion are scammers
February 23, 2021

Asurion is a big scam
If I could I would give a - star. This company is a big scam. It's been 4 weeks since my claim for a tv and no resolution by anyone at the company. They contract with 3rd rate repair people who have no professionalism nor manners on how to treat customers. Asurion is the worst experience I've ever had and still fighting on the Matter. Stay away. They will take advantage of you cuz they will have more control and you will be helpless. Stay away not worth it

Asurion was the worst experience I have ever experienced. I had to file 3 claims, 2 of which I stayed online while they processed. Was told the second time the processing fee would only be $49 because of a special. The third claim full priced (no sorry for the inconvenience discount or apology email) three weeks late I had my phone replaced. The reason the first two were canceled you ask? Nobody could see a reason and they are sorry. Worst customer service.

Less Than Poor Everything
February 19, 2021

If I could give asurion, a minus 100 stars I would. Placed my claim Jan 27. Checked tracking on Jan 28, package delivered. Delivered to Kansas City, MO! I'm In NC. Called them on the 28th let them know. Today is Feb. 19 and I still have a broken phone. Funny how it can get to the wrong address in one day and it takes 21+ days to get to the right address. I was treated so poorly by people there, I refused to talk to them any more. Had to get Sprint involved. At this exact time, I STILL HAVE NO ANYTHING from asurion.

I hate Asurion
February 18, 2021

I ordered my phone over three days ago because I dropped my previous one in water. My phone got delayed for an additional three days and still have yet to receive my phone. Was $225 to replace and even made sure it would be over night shipping. Freaking ridiculous. Because it's been delayed, it won't be here in time without a phone because I have to send my previous one in. Trying to charge me $1,500!

Filed a claim on Monday for a broken device, on Wednesday no updates or communication. I called and asked where my replacement was, lady on the phone said I wasn't understanding it hadn't shipped yet and hung up on me... I own my own business and need my phone to conduct it, if I ran my business this way I wouldn't last 2 days...
