I cracked my screen, and filed a claim. Was told the replacement is on back order. No phone
11 days so far. Good thing i pay a monthly fee for this service. Then a $249.00 deductable. What a let down.
Good luck dealing with them. U can't even get back in contact with them if u have claim and u need an address change. It routes u automatically until it just hangs up on u cuz ur already existing claim is "taken care of" when you put ur ptn in. ALSO, u cant really leave feedback. U have to go through some 3rd party ive never heard of before (sitejabber) just to vent. ABSOLUTE TRASH.
Filed a claim on my samsung galaxy z fold 2, denied the same color, they offered a different color and they said that they do not know when they will send me the different color phone... they just wanted me to use the malfunctioning phone. They never offered an interim phone nor they can tell me a date they can send me a phone. They asked for my credit card info even without having the phone in stock... when asked why my credit card details are required one of them said that I have to pay a deductible eventhough it is a manufacturer warranty, one of them said that its for return shipping costs... finally they took my credit card but for what?
So you buy a phone worth of 2000 dollars and that phone starts malfunctioning in 6 months, and since samsung care is handled by assurion, assurion makes your life hell by denying every request... all I get is a plain answer_ ' no '... at one point one of the managers pretended that she could not hear me and she hung up the call. The paper work is cumbersome and it is not online... had to print and scan stuff in this digital era... never again I will buy an samsung phone or use assurion...
A note and a galaxy are 2 different phones but im expected to pay for the note and not get a note. Being charged for both phones that i returned. One is eve in the warehouse!
If I could give negative stars I would. I paid my deductible and was supposed to have my ohone delivered that night by 9pm. The phone was never delivered. After being on hold for over an hour I was told the phone was delivered to me and was BEING USED. I spoke to a supervisor who told me I would have to wait until the next day and report the claim with Verizon. In the same hour I received an email from an asurion tech stating my appointment needed to be rescheduled and the number to call them back on was a DATING website. No one was able to effectively give me an answer. I did not speak with anyone who was professional or able to give me an explanation. I am now two days without a phone. I pay every month for insurance and a deductible just to be scammed. What a joke.
After 4 months of dealing with these liars trying to get my 2 year old samsung washing machine repaired I'm throwing in the towel, I've spent countless hours on the phone I've been given every possible excuse and just plain lied to. Save your money they WILL NOT repair your appliance and I'll NEVER buy another Samsung product again either.
Had policy for approx 2 mo. Filed claim on a laptop screen. (Waited way too long for repairs to be completed!) Had policy for 2-3 months after filing the claim and then canceled policy to tighten up budget. FAQs say "You can cancel your Asurion Home+ service at any time. You'll receive a prorated refund of your monthly fee upon canceling." What they don't mention is that if you've filed a claim EVER on your policy, you will receive ZERO refund. Will never do business with them again.
The worst experience I ever had putting in a claim. I started my claim on a Monday after all my documents where sent in over and over again.
Finally on a Wednesday the Docs get approved... so thats 3 days, after all of this they tell me my Zflip 5g is back ordered even thou if I go to Samsung site they would gladly sell me another. The back order they say is 3-5 days, buy can't guarantee that. So they expect me to go weeks without a phone. So I went out and bought an razr when my Flip finally arrives it will be sold and pay off Samsung direct. I WILL NEVER AGAIN BUY ANYTHING SAMSUNG
I pay for total mobile protection through Verizon. $45 a month for my 3 lines. I have never used it. One of our phones that is 7 months old is damaged, so when I called Verizon & Asurion, I was told by Asurion that I no longer had Asurion Insurance coverage…. That I'd just recently canceled it!
The Verizon agent kept telling them that we DID have coverage, as I am still being charged and paying for the ‘supposed coverage' We were also told that the phone that broke, specifically, isn't covered…. That our coverage is for a phone number that we've never even heard of!
After OVER 4 HOURS on the phone on a Saturday, we were told that "clearly our issue couldn't be solved today!" And that we would be receiving a call back…
It's been 4 days, still haven't heard from them.

It took over 2 hours and I still do not have a device on the way. The rep could not understand it was their system not my card.
Soooo disappointed w this company. I was told 40$ at the time of purchase for the deductible and now that I need it fixed they are wanting damn near near I paid for the phone. Why would anyone pay for insurance of they still have to pay the price of a new phone. I even had my local phone provider pull up what their site and it said 40$ too. And I provided them a screen shot
Of thus price and my phone deductible cost at 40$. All they would do is basically say we pulled it up wrong... This company is nothing but con artist. Promising to make life easier when all they are doing is robbing ppl. Shame on this company for doing loyal customers this way.
You cannot separate the broken screen ($30) from any other cosmetic damage to the phone (back glass)so they consider the whole phone a loss ($200).
Straight up GARBAGE and deceptive practices expect no less from Verizon and their partners.
This is a typical trash insurance company. They do anything they can to delay your claim. They treat everyone like a criminal. Hold times are crazy. There procedure is meant to delay delay delay. There customer service reps will hang up on you. Oh and good luck with the survey. When you try to leave one, the system hangs up on you. We have about 60 lines insured with them. We cancelled all insurance after this experience.
They didn't repair my phone it had a cracked screen and they needed to get into my phone but asked me to factory reset my phone I need my phone for work and currently using my father-in-law phone which has I don't like I need my phone for work i will never file a claim with these people again
In the last 24 hours, I have been on hold for 2 hours with these people. They were supposed to come to my house in a two hour window and never showed up. Turns out they cancelled and refunded me and didn't even notify me as I was patiently waiting on them to arrive at my house. None of the representatives (I have spoken with 3 in the last 24 hours) sound like they know what they're talking about nor do they seem like they even listen to what I am trying to explain. It is the most inefficient and annoying company I have ever had to deal with. If you can afford it just buy a new phone because the amount of time I have wasted with this company is absolutely ridiculous.
Impossible to get through to an actual person... unable to complete phone claim on their "easy to use" site. Horrible horrible experience.
Sent our TV in for repair/replacement. Filed a claim due to a blue line down the screen, volume control didnt work anymore.
When TV was returned, it wouldn't even turn on. Called company, given usual BS, now have it packed up to go back.

Asurion has the worst customer service and shady process that fools customers into believing that they are protected. Don't waste your money here - go to other reputed business. Asurion supports claims under VeriZon protect that are misleading and aimed to cheat consumers. They are looking for ways to weasel out of paying consumers what they rightfully deserve.
This morning, I went to a local AT&T store to have my iPhone 8 looked at; because it kept shutting down. They advised that it was because of a bad battery, and I went to a place recommended by them: UBREAKIFIX at 1587 E. Cheyenne Mountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO *******. Of note, my phone worked fine when it had direct AC/DC power. After some 4 hours after I dropped it off for repair work, I returned to have the technician there tell me: we installed 2 new batteries and could not get the phone to reboot. So, we reinstalled your battery and it still won't reboot. So, we're giving it back to you with no charge." Without any further explanation (since now I had absolutely NO working phone to use), he told me to contact the Asurion insurance provider (since I had full cellphone plan coverage). After I contacted the Asurion customer service, a woman told me that they'd get me a replacement telephone by Tuesday or Wednesday of next week (today's 7/3/21 and replacement to arrive on/about 7/6 or 7/7/21). When I asked if an authorization could be made to simply go to a local AT&T store and obtain a replacement cell phone, she said no--that's not how we do business. Honestly, as a customer that's totally unacceptable. So I returned to the AT&T store and purchased a new SE phone; where the salesman said that routinely Asurion replaces customer's cell phone with "REFURBISHED" cell phones -- otherwise, they'd send their customers to the AT&T store (if/when AT&T is the service provider) to get a new phone replacement.
There customer service sucks they set appointments and they don't care if they show up with the parts or not. What a scam. Felt with these people 3 times all fails.
Answer: Asurion insurance is who: Cricket Wireless, Verizon, & most remaining cell phone companies are with now! Just be careful b/c they are IMO SCAMMERS that will get you at one time or another!
Answer: Well, when that happened to me they sent me their IMO SPYWARE phone by the next day. I think it was like twenty-five days for my phone! I hope you kept your charger, case, & took the cards out of your phone first!
