Asurion is worser then att. Asurion and the company "you break it we fix it" is a $#*!ing joke. Where the $#*! do they get these technicians from. Respect to the legitimate techs. But $#*! the rest. If you hate your job that much, go else where. Your killing the company.
After paying $17 a month for 3 years that was paid for, I dropped my phone. Their coverage options were absolutely terrible and borderline criminal. They asked me for a $229 deductible for a phone the Verizon says is worth $95 trade-in. The glass cracked on the front and the back. The phone is fully functional. $612 is what I paid them. I bought the phone for $1000. The repair shop said it would cost $99 to fix. What did I pay for? Run away, run away.
I purchased a volleyball from $#*!'s with a protection plan from Asurion, and when the volleyball deflated after two weeks of use, I naturally went to Asurion to talk to them about getting a replacement. I have never in my LIFE experienced more unhelpful customer service. Every time I went to file a claim, they told me that the ball was protected by Mikasa's manufacturer warranty. I called Mikasa. They don't have a manufacturer's warranty that protects balls after they've been used. I called Asurion. They sent me back to Mikasa. Again and again. When it finally looked like I might get a replacement volleyball, they sent me an email saying they're unable to fulfill my request. Save your money. Don't buy from this company.
First of all I could never find out which product my Asurion policy was actually connected to and neither could Asurion. The agents I spoke with in my latest claim were most adept at two things, communicating in soft, empathic tones and sending me from one dead end phone number to the next until I finally got so frustrated I am going to junk the warrantied product and buy a new one. The thing that gets me the most angry is I have probably bought at least 50 warranties from Asurion on my Amazon purchases. Isn't that the definition of INSANITY. Doing the same wrong thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
My purchase was from Home Depot but the extended warranty, to my surprise, was under Asurion.
Called Asurion to cancel to day and I'm still waiting. 45 minutes and counting. That is totally ridiculous.
Just needed my shattered phone replaced. Because I couldn't receive texts on my very broken phone I had to go through a 45 minute process on the phone where a very nice woman(the only good thing about this company) had to ask me personal questions from my "public record" to confirm my identity. Then I waited a day for the go ahead to complete my claim. They still required my photo ID to be uploaded. HMMMM. I get making sure security is tight but why did I have to call at all? Why not just ask for ID in the first place so I could complete the claim on the barely working eye straining disgusting purple website. Thank you to Elizabeth the customer service representative who did an amazing job but absolutely every step of this process was hell. This company should be shut down. Why Verizon would use such a sketchy third part for their insurance blows my mind.
Trying to get warranty coverage of an older Google Pixel 2XL phone with LCD screen failure, no damage. The only option offered - and only through their AI, since they have no humans accessible in what their message calls 'this critical time' is a replacement for $229. Apparently, their deductible numbers are fluid, and vary depending on the phone, age of the device and type of damage. Nothing of this is detailed in their agreement. A quick scan of online options reveals I can buy the same device, NEW for $199. For $50 per month, I expect premium service, not this crap. I will cancel immediately and insure my devices through AKKO or through the manufacturers. And try as I might, for a week now, I have no access to any human that works for Asurion.
No one I have spoken to seems to know how to file and complete claim. The site/link is as bad or worse. Been almost a month, I've spent hours on the phone and on site and no where any closer to replacing my phone. Service is $#*! and that's being nice
Trying to quit the service. I called the number and finally someone answers. However they cannot cancel service and transfer you to another person. Again on hold forever. I called my credit card to cancel the future payments.
We paid $150 as deductible for cell phone insurance when return damaged cell phone. Phones was refurbished and defective. We send it back to asurion. After they receive it and apply to their books, we were able to ask for refund. They told us it may takes up to 15 days and we need to wait. After 20 days we called and find out that asurion NEVER start the process of reimbursement: receiving the phone back not automatically means refund was submitted. Stupid asurion didnt originate the refund. New person told us we need to wait for another 15 BUINESS days to receive refund. Who knows if this time asurian start the refund processing? Stay away!
I purchased the power plus protection plan from Tractor Supply for a new mower. Filed claim on the 2nd of August, and it is now the 25th. Have received one phone call back in this time frame to "re-verify" my info.
Recruiter play mind games sending email for interview invites. As soon as I click interview invites, no dates available. They gave me a number to call. Number have holds. They worst at calling back. I deleted all future email from them. Its a waste of time. Recruiters don't even communicate or correspond.
I have been with Assurion for over 15 years and never had a problem with them. Right when I need them, I filed a claim, paid $249 and scheduled an appointment. The website looks great and you'll get an "Assurion Expert" to come and setup your new device on the same day. Once they take your money, you'll get an email explaining the exchange process and even a text introducing your assigned "expert". The only problem is that the "Expert" does not exist and won't show up for your scheduled appointment. To add insult to injury, you'll get an email telling you that the Expert is on the way with a link to Track the Expert. When you click on it, you'll get a message that your Delivery has been cancelled and then you are on your own to fix the problem. Their tech support will offer you a $10 gift card for wasting your day (it never actually gets sent to you) and you phone won't get to you as advertised. Stay away from this company. They are better and cheaper alternatives such as Square Trade.
Sprint/T-mobile will NOT honor your extended warranty in person. They send you to Asurion... 90 mins on the phone with 5 people on various continents. 5 conflicting messages: just go repair your phone locally. No, don't. No, you can't. Send it to us, but we charge $275 since we have no repair site near you, etc. On and on. Finally I get a loaner phone but the phone they sent isn't connected to sprint network. I call for tech support and am immediately transferred to... Apple? They have nothing to do with it, so I call back... it's impenetrable and I fully expect to have to pay a huge deductible on top of wasted money. Horrible, awful company.
I pay $17 month for insurance. Years later my Note10plus drops and cracks the wrap around glass case, front and back glass. So I submit a claim to Asurion. For 29 buck my deductible, I go to their UBreakIfix shops. When I get there I find out that my insurance only covers the front glass and UBreakIfix will not fix the front without replacing the back. I was quoted 70 for the back glass because I have Asurion. I felt it was a mistake so I left the store, called Verizon to find out Asurion only covers the front and UBreakitIfix it sets their own rules for not repairing the front without replacing the back. I go back to the same store in Tampa off Kennedy and the lady told me it was $118 not 70... a Whopping $118 on top of 29 deductible. My option is replacing my phone for 200
Now here the kicker. The 12 months warranty on the work is only good if I keep paying the insurance for the next 12 months. Here is another... Before getting your phone fixed you have to agree that your phone and app may not work the same! When I complained about the change of price she told me that was the cost for her labor take it, replace it at 200 of not! Cost of having Asurion insurance for their low deductible was $149 on top of the monthly cost I have paid for 2 years. My complaint is the unknown scam that I had to pay full price to repair a cosmetic back glass before they would honor my broken screen insurance claim. The part could be bought on Amazon for less than 20 but would void my insurance claim unless the I paid the UBreak Store full price! Total cost for my 29 deductible promised repair from Asurion was $148 plus 300 of monthly payments with a promise to fix my broken phone for a low deductible of $29 SCAM!
This is the absolute worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. My phone broke to the point where I can not make calls but the only option to file a claim is online, which there were no options in my area. From there my only option was to call, there are no email addresses or any other means listed on their website to get in contact with them. This is obviously intentional. Eventually I was able to contact them through Facebook messenger. It has been 5 days now and each day they come up with one new requirement to process. I respond immediately and then dont hear back until the next day. After 5 days we still have no resultion, no phone and the saga continues. Absolutely avoid this company at all cost!
Asurion protection Plan are scams, people should not have any thing to do with them.
Please don't waste your money on any insurance plan with them... because they are scammers, they would not deliver if their attention is needed. They will be giving you excuses.
Send twise technictian with wrong replacement screen. Told me will send replacement phone since system has a glitch or so. Later lost my clame and acted like nobody requested anything.
First time it took me a week to get it fixed. Their technician just destroyed it. This time it's been 3 days and no progress at all.
As a business owner i would like to think that all businesses are doing their best to help their customers, but not Asurion. They sent a replacement device via FedEx which lost device. I called asurion which told me i needed to change the FedEx to return to sender then they would ship out another device for me to have tomorrow. I did as asked then called back w the confirmation from FedEx saying they changed to return to sender. Asurion car who was rude said we dint ever ask people to do that- kept me on hold another 20 mins then said i had to fill out an affidavit ( which wouldn't download) regardless/ I'd rather buy a new device than deal w them ever again
Don't go through them. Sent my laptop there 3 times and my issue was never resolved. Terrible and customer demeaning customer service. Do your self and favor and use a more credible insurance/protection plan. All they want is your money love.
Answer: Asurion insurance is who: Cricket Wireless, Verizon, & most remaining cell phone companies are with now! Just be careful b/c they are IMO SCAMMERS that will get you at one time or another!
Answer: Well, when that happened to me they sent me their IMO SPYWARE phone by the next day. I think it was like twenty-five days for my phone! I hope you kept your charger, case, & took the cards out of your phone first!
