This is the worst company to deal with. The representative are not trained and have no idea what they are talking about. One person tells you one thing and another tells you another. The lady that I spoke to was no help and kept putting me on hold every 15 minutes and when I asked are you there she would give me different information each time. She verified my address with me 10 times and asked what the problem was another 10 times. Horrible service. When you try to call them they will hang up on you. Very rude as well. A nightmare dealing with this company.
A rating of 1 is generous! We purchased a bike from $#*!'s and were offered the Asurion protection plan. I sure wish I had read some of the reviews first. The very first thing we did was upload our receipt so we didn't have to keep track of it. My grandson had a flat tire within a week and Asurion didn't cover this. I found this out after asking to upload my receipt again and spending over 30 minutes chatting with an agent. Then we had an issue with his breaks a few months in. Again, I made a claim... they have to approve it first which I find ridiculous, but once again they wanted me to send a copy of the receipt where we purchased the bike and the plan. Hello people, we uploaded it to your site 2 months ago... twice! Then they want pictures... the break doesn't work... pictures are going to tell you nothing! We ended up taking it to $#*!'s... the same gentleman who helped us purchase it. He took a part off of another part and fixed it for us for free... no questions asked. Now that's service, already completed when Asurion hasn't even began the claim because they need pictures of the receipt... what a joke! I would recommend NOT purchasing their plans!
I paid for the service for 6 years and never needed it. When I finally broke my iPhone 6, they told me the replacement price is $150.
When I originally signed up for Asurion, they had a $8/mo option with a deductible, and a $14/mo option that said it's a 'no deductible' option.
I called asurion not too long ago, maybe in august. Since I got my iphone 6, I've paid $14/mo for asurion on the assumption that they'd take care of me and I'd have no deductible. The iphone 5 was released in 2014!
I didn't get the iphone when it first came out, maybe in 2015. Assuming I got it in august, I've paid $1000 to asurion. So I call them about my phone, which should be free, as they said it would be, and I've paid for the phone several times over at this point.
They say it's $150, they don't honor the 'no deductible' plan anymore, and it's not their problem.
When I push to see what they can do for me, they say they can replace the phone for $125 'as a service to me'

I purchased a minifridge from home depot in January and bought the insurance they offered me at the time from this company.
In February my fridge start building ice in the back of the fridge, I called the insurance company and filled a claim. They send technicians 3 times to my house with a decision that it can't be fixed.
I have called more than 20 times every call is over an hour going through the whole damn thing from the beginning. They called the manufacturer company and was told the same, the unit has to be replaced it's an issue with the compressor.
It's October and they are still giving me the run around, no replacement, no money back, no help...
Extremely frustrating.

Asurion sent me a broken phone then said I would have to pay another deductible to have that broken phone replaced. Then, to to it off, they charged my bank account $300 saying they never received the original phone I sent back. I have called sooooo many times to either be told there is nothing they can do, or straight up lied to saying that I would be refunded my money but that doesn't happen. I cannot believe they take advantage of paying customers in a bad situation.
I used them for a cricket phone claim and they sent me a phone that kept being reported as lost and stolen. Cricket said it was reported stolen in January and I had the phone replaced in October! What the F***. They are passing off stolen phones do not trust them!
I cant even begin to explain my frustration with this company! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS WARRANTY! HORRIBLE customer service. They do not send emails to advise you of all the "extra documentation they need" when you go to check online as it tells you, you have to call, when you call they tell you to call your provider, it has been 10 business days not including weekends of nothing but BULL$#*!! Oh not to mention if you want/need a new phone regardless of how old it is you have to pay $300. So if you qualify for a new phone through your carrier you would still have to pay $300 to get anew phone through this useless company. Don't waste your time or money with this company.
Asurionhome plus filed 1 claim denied because they said it was used commercial. Then filed another claim denied did not say why but sent form to fill out so they could review in person. I told them that they must deny all claims. So canceled asurionhome plus. Should have known better
So far I'm not impressed with this service even though the only thing they have done for me is take the initial payment of coverage via Guitar Center as a one time paid protection plan. I contacted them back in July to file a claim for repairs it's now October and after several phone calls they still can't manage to send a shipping label via email like they promised several times even including a supervisor that got on the phone to promise as well the escalation of my gripe to rush the email of the said shipping label I'm still waiting for. At this point I'm thinking this protection plan available to you from Asurion via Guitar Center is only good enough to exchange my purchase at guitar rather then wait for Asurion to send an emailed shipping label God knows what kind of tech they are using that it's this difficult to send an email in 2021.
They sent me a busted refurbished phone after my brand new just stopped working, now they want me to take my phone into a store so they can fix it... they can't fix a bent frame.
As I write this review, I am still waiting on hold (over an hour now) to try to resolve the fact that Asurion found "additional damage to [my] phone when they were inspecting it and decided to charge me an additional $160, above and beyond the money I already paid for the replacement phone. I called the number given in the correspondence that informed me of this charge, and was only given options to file a new claim. After finally getting through to someone who can provide some assistance, all he was able to do was submit a request to the finance department (to whom he refused to transfer my call) to reconsider the charge... You know. The unauthorized $160 theft that they are considering a charge. So... even now (one hour twenty-five minutes by now), I do not have a guarantee that I will get my money back. After all of this, I am looking at the cost of the re-furbished phone that they sent me (and charged me $189 for) and finding that I can get it cheaper on pretty much any online phone store. Indeed. I pay $50 per month for the privilege of overpaying for a replacement phone and having no choice in the type thereof. What a great example of product insurance at its best.
I had a young mam come to my home and repair my freezer. He was very nice and answered all of my questions. I would most definitely recommend Quentin and your company.
My ipads battery swelled up and cracked the screen. Asurion wouldn't repair it saying it doesn't cover it. BS. Junk company.

Be advised, I was suckered into the Asurion warranty. They told me there would not be any hidden fees, just your monthly membership fees covers it all. Went to make a claim on a handheld switch game. The red tape and hoops to jump threw were ridiculous. All kinds of emails with tons of things to fill out. Then the grand scam cost….$99 service fee! It only cost $99 to repair glass as a walk in non member. Why bother w the membership that rips you for $300 a year. Stay away!
Terrible, HORRIBLE product and service. IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. They will make it as difficult as possible on you to file and follow up on a claim. I had a CPU blow up, filed a claim, made multiple calls about it, had multiple promises for return calls that were never made, was sent a box to ship the unit in that was the wrong size, had to wait for another one, shipped it, only to receive a call from a Supervisor over 4 (FOUR) months after filing the claim that the CPU's hard drive had been removed and reinstalled & the graphics card was in sideways (lies) and they would not cover the unit because it was considered 'tampering'. This was a $2,000 gaming CPU. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME ON THIS COVERAGE. They will do anything they can to get you to either give up on a a claim, lowball your offer for replacement, or find bogus reasons to deny coverage.

Their system refused to allow us to input a claim through their portal, long wait to get through to their customer service. We've been paying $17 per "device protection" for three years.
No real assistance offered except suggestion of setting phone back to factory settings. This did NOT work, rep then told us to take it to a UBreakit WeFixit store. No luck with them. Assuriin would not replace or provide a repair the phone under their warranty.
Strongly suggest skipping insurance under a Assuriin/Verizon.
I had them come out paid 75. Tec came out next day fixed it paid 340. Quit 2 hours after i spent 167 on food. It has been three weeks and can not get any one out here.
I had a screen that cracked on an iPhone 11 Pro and had Asurion insurance so I filed a claim online. They were supposed to come out on 9/29 but never showed up. They had canceled for some reason that they could not tell me, even though I had paid the $29 deductible the week before when I filed the claim. I called and they told me I would have to reschedule and pay another $29 claim and that they would send me back the other $29 I had paid the week earlier. They processed that and sent me an email and this time got my address wrong. I called again to correct the address and they moved the appointment out even further. I can not recommend Asurion to anyone.
Joke of a buisness will give you the run around till you want to give up. ASSurion will make you jump through hoops just to get something fixed or replaced. Had to make multiple calls to get shipping label, multiple calls just to upload pictures of the item I needed fixed. What a JOKE waste of my time.
Not to mention the deductible is a joke too, $100 on something that costs $500? Give me a break

Answer: Well, when that happened to me they sent me their IMO SPYWARE phone by the next day. I think it was like twenty-five days for my phone! I hope you kept your charger, case, & took the cards out of your phone first!
