This was the first time I contacted Asurion online to file a claim. I usually do it over the phone. But in my ole age I wanted to stay courageously current with my computer skills, so I did it online. It was easy! But halfway through it I have to say I kind of chickened out and went for the support live person online and I am glad I did. I met a really nice person named Amber. She listened attentively so as to trouble-shoot the problem that I was having. Upon seeing how frustrated I was getting at having to file a claim she was able to then walk me through some practical suggestions that I could do without going through the expense of filing a claim. Getting online help in filing a claim and working through an issue wasn't that bad at all. But I am one of those individuals that when I am told "no," I call again and again to see if there is another work-around my issue. I am glad I am consistent with this approach. I called ATnT twice and spoke with 2 knowledgeable individuals and at the end of each conversation, both said that I would need to file a claim. I said to myself: "Self, don't give up. Try letting Asurion know what your issue is and maybe a tech person would be just as savvy too." So, I did and I'm glad I did. I wish there were more Ambers in the world--who actually think outside the box. Thank you, Amber and thank you Asurion. Remember: Nothing hurts a try except a failure!
After how difficult Amazon's site made it to figure out how to contact Asurion, I wasn't expecting much. But as soon as I went to their website, I was able to chat with a friendly customer server person (Carmelita) who took care of my claim (even though the product covered was messed up in their system, probably Amazon's fault here, too) in less than a half hour. I don't think there's anything else Asurion could have done to make sure I had a good experience. It was my first claim with them, for an inexpensive item, and it makes me feel better about having also bought protection for a more-expensive item. I still hope I won't have to use the protection, but it seems they really do what they say they do. I was a little wary because Asurion isn't Square Trade, which is the standard bearer, but really, the one time I had to make a claim with them, I was less satisfied than I am now with my Asurion claim. It was quicker and easier to do the "paperwork," and Asurion pays the full purchase price via an Amazon e-gift card, so I can get another one in a few days.

I was quite frustrated trying to go through the website and find my product, Apple AirPods. I could not find them anywhere and I searched through most of the site.
When I clicked on the chat now button, I was able to talk to a person quickly and he was able to help me with my claim! Plus he was a lot of fun to talk to!
The chat it's very good fast and painless. Better than fill the claim myself, I did try and gave me error with same info that I gave the person in the chat (Hoover) thank God for the human help.

I have a device that quit working on me and I went on here because of the protection plan I had and I chatted with a guy named Rolando he was fabulous it didn't even take 15 minutes and he filed my claim and had it approved. I am very satisfied once I send item back then I will receive a e-gift card for the price I paid to be able to purchase another one. Thank you

I contacted online chat, was lucky enough to get in touch with Matthew and he stayed with me until i got my phone, face ID and watch all up and running. Assurion is great for protecting your products that ultimately -we probably don't have the money to just replace outright. If we didn't have mobile device protect or home device protect and it really cost nothing compared to what it would take to replace a device, any random given moment. However, today their system decided to crash after being on hold for over two hours. I was put on mute for a moment for replacement paperwork to be submitted and five 10-20-30-40 minutes later the person never come back to the line and I'm still on hold even while typing this review. Jordan in mobil tech chat in the app informed me that they were having system issues and that that was probably why the guy was not able to connect back with me and gave me a number for Tier too so I am satisfied with that knowledge

Answer: Asurion insurance is who: Cricket Wireless, Verizon, & most remaining cell phone companies are with now! Just be careful b/c they are IMO SCAMMERS that will get you at one time or another!
Answer: Well, when that happened to me they sent me their IMO SPYWARE phone by the next day. I think it was like twenty-five days for my phone! I hope you kept your charger, case, & took the cards out of your phone first!
