I am so Thankful for Ask a Veterinarian, Kathy Paul. She was kind & gentle hearted and guided me in what I should do about my tiny little Parti Yorkie Girl. I was put to ease and able to sleep until we made a vet visit first thing this morning.
I've had cats all my life. I was pretty sure I was dealing with a ladder infection and was glad to get his opinion I have antibiotics for another one of my cats and I've been giving it to Gracie. She seems to be improving and she's starting to eat. I'm still gonna keep an eye on her and if necessary, she will go to the vet.

My dog is a cocker spaniel. He has moles all over him as the breed often does. Especially because he's older. I thought a lump on his side was a mole at first. But it had more discharge than usual so I took a closer to look. It was very different from anything I'd seen. It looked like it was a mole but with a divot or hole in the middle. I was very concerned with its unusual nature and the discharge. I googled It's and got varying answers. I've been unemployed for a while and just started a new job so I don't have a ton of money. One thing the advice online all said was to consult a vet. I knew I couldn't afford one for weeks. So I tried this and the vet allayed my fears and gave me advice expectations and care. He was knowledgeable and quick to answer. He was reassuring. I'll most likely be utilizing this service future because of how easy convenient it was.

Cats nibbled on a snake plant, Dracaena trifasciata, and I read that the plant was extremely poisonous for cats to rush the cats to the Vet. I was mortified, didn't know where or what to do, not to mention the unexpected expense. I came across Just Answer site and after chatting with a veterinarian, I learned that the plant is not extremely dangerous, there can be GI issues so to monitor the cats for 1-2 days for a number of symptoms of concern to make an informed decision if I must to l take cats to vet. I got a response momentarily, no wait time and they put my nerves at ease. Also learned there's a number of professional available for anything, not just veterinarians. For a small fee and membership, I feel is totally worth it.
My three dogs managed to open a jar of calming hemp treats and eat them all up Dr Scott explained exactly what is contained in the treats and how the dogs might be affected. Made me feel relieved. Dogs are fine!

Peace of mind what to do as our dog was not well and not eating. We were not sure whether to ring the emergency Vet as it was the weekend and after hours or too wait another day. The advice we got helped us to decide to ring the Vet who verified the dog was not well & was kept at vet for help.
