Gave great advice! Reassured we are doing the right things to keep her in this case moving the muscles and going on short walks to ease the pain. She's been eating but not drinking, also offered to put water in a flat dish and when I tried it, our frenchie lapped up the water for the first time in a few days. Also offered great supplement support and calming support for her pain as well. Thank you!
When I had a problem with my pet at 11 o'clock at night, I was able to find 24/7 advice through this app. JustAnswer.com provided me with my choice of veterinary experts. Two different people replied to me. They weren't necessarily available right at the time I messaged them, but I got the answer by the time I woke up the next morning. I think their input was definitely helpful, and I have seen an improvement in my pet's health since I followed their advice. I still might need to go to an in-person vet, but there are certain things that online medical appointments aren't able to do. As far as advice and prescribing interventions go, the service is great.

My liver shunt pup is teething and chewing on anything he can get avhold of. NO chew sticks for him. I'm going to try putting his prescription in a treat toy and freeze it. Hopefully it works

My family lost our older "Heinz 57" dog about 6 months ago. I have constantly anguished over what happened to him, but did not opt for an autopsy, as it clearly would not bring him back to us. Knowing I could not let this go without at least trying to get some answers, I sought out help online and ecided to ask a vet here for their opinion of what may have happened, while understanding a 100% definitive answer could not be had without examination of his body. Dr. Kara was so patient with me and gave thoughtful, intelligent responses and hypotheses of what may have happened with our Lex Woofer. She chatted back and forth with me for a significant amount of time and gave incredibly thoughtful and well informed insights as to what led to his passing. More than that, she gave me peace of mind as pertained to his suffering. Her suspicions on what likely happened to him indicate that he probably would not have been in a great deal of pain/suffering at the time of his passing, and lemme tell you... that lifted such a weight off of me that words just can't describe. Eternally grateful, would absolutely recommend and will do so. Please remember to tip your experts, their knowledge is valuable and should be treated accordingly!
My dog was throwing up and the vet told me to give her pepcid and a bland diet of chicken and rice. Which helped.
