I was concerned about my dog and it being the weekend our vets were out of the office so I contacted Ask A Veterinarian. I didn't know what to expect. The Vet was very thorough. Asked questions, waited until I had all my questions answered. Described behaviors to be aware of and how to shift his diet for a few days. Overall I was very happy

The ease and workable knowledge that Ask A Vet offers is a godsend. Half the battle when caring for another species is knowing when to act and how to manage a condition when you're not even sure what you're dealing with. Birds are especially tricky because their stress levels need to be considered. Home Care, although preferred, is also tricky. Today I experienced reinforcement of most of the things I was doing already but, more importantly, equiped me with danger signs to look for that would mean further action. Knowledge (knowing your pet, knowing what steps to take to make their lives as enjoyable as possible) is paramount. Ask A Veterinarian helped me obtain as much confidence as I possibly could so I can do the most good for my sick friend. A thousand thanks. (Highly recommend this service)
