It was very helpful and the vet seemed quite knowledgeable. The assistant and vet seemed very friendly and even answered questions outside of what I was needing so that told me she was a real person, not AI.

I had specific concerns about the treatment my vet had recommended for my cat. I had some general questions and my local veterinarians were reticent to offer me help with my questions without having the entire medical history. I was able to speak to an Ask A Veterinarian Doctor and got the answers I was looking for. I hadn't been looking for a specific "2nd Opinion" on my vet's treatment but I had some concerns and was happy with the service I received. It gave me the confidence I needed to better understand all sides of my issue. I thought it was worth the cost to speak with a real doctor, it's not always possible to get alternative perspectives in the small town where I live and I didn't want to base my decisions on internet searches and AI research alone, I was happy to speak with a real person.
My dog was having an allergic reaction and I needed input about whether this was an emergency and I needed urgent care. I am grateful that the vet was thoughtful, thorough and competent. She was not over-reactive, showed compassion and was helpful! I am grateful for this service!
Dr Tiffany Delacruz was prompt and very through in offering advice for the sick squirrel in my yard and offered advice if my two dogs became ill with the same symptoms of poisoning. I will definitely use this service again
My dog bite a battery last night. She was ok until I noticed later she had some drooling and was very quiet. The vet walked me through checking her for further injury and what to look for during the night. I felt very confident she would be OK after our chat.

Tillie was bitten by one of my other dogs and found after I returned home from work. When we found her we were torn between the $450 emergency vet bill and just waiting till morning. After speaking with our vet, she assured us that the symptoms were all things that can be brought on by trauma and anxiety. Resting our minds assured without the large bill!
Our little buddies were in bad shape after bad reaction to rabies shot. We got a call immediately and the doc was very informative and straight to the point. We are an hour away from any emergency vet, he told us that we needed to head out immediately, but also said we had done the right thing (1/2 a Benadryl for each dog) but the visit to ER was necessary because of how far way we were. He said if it did get worse, we might not get there in time. It was nice to have a level head instructing us. Thank you for being available.

She took time to explain things I was confused about, particularly because the concentration in the specified ingredient was much greater than the product I have on hand.
