Mary N is an absolute amazing tech

After my computer had updates, my Google Chrome page was not my current page. I tried everything, shutting down, restarting and nothing worked. I have never been on Ask-Crew and figured I might as well give it a try. Mary N was my assistant and she was amazing. We tried all kinds of different things. She was so patient and knowledgeable. We finally got my old screen back, but if it wasn't for Mary N, it would have never happened

Frustrated with Microsoft
August 25, 2025

I know that I should get a MS11 compatible computer, but MS no longer shows any sign of caring for customer. All the little changes they make without warning make it hard for a casual user like me. I dread Windows 11 and its increased use of AI. In my opinion AI is not sufficiently developed to be anything but a high sapeed hinderence. Just one minor issue is spell check, it is not usually simply available any more in anything other than Word. It now takes at least three additional key strokes to check a spelling and oftenneeds the bad-speller version of the word to be copied to a word file to get any where: Progress; I don't think so. The last two days wasted makes me seriosly consider closing down Windows 10 as I need to buy a new computer for Windows 11 and will now seriously consider Apple
Microsoft seem to forget my subscription to MS365

NOT A HAPPY CAMPER

TICKETS ORDERED ON GROUPON COMPUTER SAID TRANSACTION DIDDN'T GO THROUGH SO I USED MY CC TO PURCHASE THEM AND ENDED UP WITH 2 SETS. GETTING A REFUND HAS COST ME MORE TIME AND HASSEL NOT WORTH THE SAVINGS NEVER USING GROUPON AGAIN

Saving Sanity

I had been trying to move our emails from one platform back to Microsoft 365. It had taken weeks as I struggled to contact Microsoft, remove a domain to effect the move. I was informed that it would be fast and easy to do. It was not. Three weeks later, and I was at the end of my tether. I was getting nowhere with the platform professionals. Very nice but limited expertise. With my limited expertise, we were not progressing. I decided to look for online help. | chose just Ask Crew. I was allocated Roxanne. She is amazing. Grasped the problem. Broke everything down into small steps and was happy and patient with my questions. She understood my frustration. We were nearly at the end of my issue when I was suddenly automatically cut out of the chat. No Roxannne!. Someone else has taken over, needs to read the notes and i am left waiting. I think I would have been an exceedingly happy person by now if they had allowed the chat to continue with Roxanne. I would have awarded 5 stars and been very happy. Sadly, my further experience has rather soured my experience
