BTW - I do not appreciate Nest/Google ceasing their support for some earlier versions of the Nest thermostat. They were working fine. I believe that Nest/Google just wanted to avoid the continuing expense of providing support required for the Nests to be accessible remotely. Remote access is, for my uses, the most valuable feature.
