I had a 6 months experience with AM and it is clearly a genuine affair site with fake but also real profiles. I agree with many guys: As I experienced Saphrina may get you laid faster. But depends on where you live you will most likely find more female profiles on AM.

Like I said before: Many of the profiles are fake, but some are real and I got several contacts, chats and had a few dates that end up nicely with a short term affair. But that was a hard piece of work!

On AM or any other affair site men outnumber women by a ration of at least 20:1 which means that females are receiving tons of contacts and can be very selective and demanding. Again, in my opinion sites like Saphrina are slightly better but generally speaking: Men outnumber women on every affair site!

If you're an not successful in "real life" you won't be on AM! It works but it is a hard piece of work!

Joined up and within a day was bombarded with the hottest babes... All claiming to be on vacation inyour town. When i quized ane of them about how the weather was outdoors... Said it was ok... alarm bells started ringing, because it was -2 freezing rain, similar kind of bull$#*! with all the rest of them trying to get you to join other sites and paying for exclusive privilages with your credit cards to acess them... AM is full of women who are out to screw you guys in a way that you dont have in mind! Its the guys who need protecting from these opportunist vultures. AM is allowing it to happen under their nose... tut tut tut

Dont care what any1 says, Ash Mad is still the number one cheating site out there. Obviously I dont give my real name or anything after what happened, but I think its been a blessing in disguise cos there arent as many scammers now. Out of all the other cheating sites Ive tried it hard to think of any that come close (okmaybe nostringsaffair.com which is probably more safe as it has never had any issues like AM has but generally you cant go wrong with AM). Its time to give them a second chance people, forgive and foget!

Up until this week I had only used NoStringsAffairs.com but decided it was worth trying to double my chances with a second account on another site. Went for AM for obvious reasons, been quite pleased so far although its still early days.
The main thing is there are definitely real women on the site that are looking to cheat on their partners (I say partners rather than husbands because not all are married. One girl I spoke to was a lesbian who basically told me she missed $#*!. She stopped talking to me after I asked about a threesome, so maybe a lesson there chaps!)
Im sticking with 4/5 stars but if I get laid by the end of the month then that will be enough to bump it up to 5 or 5. Otherwise ill go back to just using NSA again.

I understand that many people complain about AshleyMadison, especially after the recent hack. Some people complain because they charged to delete profiles, some people because their business model is expensive and their marketing is ever-present. And yes, maybe you should also try other alternative affair websites like Saphrina (Fast growing) or VictoriaMilan (BIG in Europe). But always remember that AshleyMadison has by far the largest member base of users and does a great job for many, many years.

I have used several sites and some of them work, some of them don't. I guess it depends on so many factors that it is really hard to find "The Number One Site". But AshleyMadison worked out pretty well for me in the past. But my point is: It is all about try and error.

You have not been lucky on AshleyMadison? Try a different affair website. Don't give up because as I mentioned: It depends on so many different factors (members base in your area, coincidence, chemistry, luck).

On most affair websites it is free to Create a profile. Create a profile on AshleyMadison, create a profile on Saphrina, create a profile on VictoriaMilan and create a profile on every site you want and simply go for the site you feel comfortable with.

If for some reason you did not manage to have an affair, don't blame the affair website! They provide a platform where people meet. They never guarantee you will have an affair because again: It depends on so many factors. If you go to a nightclub you go to a place where men and women meet. There is no guarantee that you won't be going home all by yourself. Maybe see it this way: An affair website is just like a nightclub: It all depends on what YOU do to not go home alone.

Like many adultlet dating sites, watch out for automatic renewal charges. In addition, reading the terms and conditions one learns that the individual is responsible for all third party charges incurred on the site. Almost all of the contacts I've been contacted by were young, beautiful girls fishing you in for web cam sites. You will incur charges for web site services and the girls are skillful leading you on to their "special pass" they will make available to you. If you give your credit card number to "verify your age" you will establish a financial relationship with an offshore company. It's a big scam. In general, if you want to explore this site, with what appears, to be fake contacts, send them a money order through snail mail to protect your credit card charges. The web cam sites probably deliver a product but they didn't get a credit card number from me.

AM is still #1 affair site. Huge database of members, very well established brand. There are few cons though:
- High price
- Recent security breach
- You have to pay to have your personal data vanished
However, I still regularly use it (and if you know how to treat housewives, you'll get to the 4th base), but to double, or even triple up my chances, I use another great affair website recommended by lots of other guys here: Nostringsaffair.com.

Men really need to watch their credit cards! AM is a scam to get you to pay for credits to contact women when they prevent the women from responding by suspending their memberships or keeping their memberships in pending while you pay for credits to keep contacting them. I set up an account and in 24hours was contacted by over 110 men (some repeatedly with winks and favorites) only to be prevented from responding or sending a key to view my photos. When I questioned this practice my membership was totally suspended!
Ashley Madison is a SCAM to make money on you men! Beware!

I am a woman using Ashleymadison once in a while. I prefer different (casual) dating sitse. I am not married or in a relationship but once in a while it is fun to hook up with married men. I signed up for this site and it is free fro women to use. Perfect! Yes, as a man you may wanna use a different sites like Saphrina instead because it is not as cost intensive, but for women: Perfect! I think there is no better afair site for women!

Men are easy going and always up for a good time. Ladies, be picky! There are a lot of men on Ashleymadison!
