The tank base was pushed up where the cut out for the inlet makes it weak, some paint was chipped off. I believe it was not damaged in shipping as the box was fine. The 1" barb to 1" NPT only engaged by a couple of turns. I used everything, but some quality control by the manufacturers is in order.
