So the old adage if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is definitely is true with this service.
I searched around after Apple was extremely unhelpful and thought it sounded legit, WARNING: It isn't!
I provided the SN and paid the initial £20 and a day later I receive an automated email giving me info which I can get online for free. I was told I needed the iCloud unlock service which is a further £29.99. So thinking it would be worth it in the long run I paid, don't! Basically you get a link to a page which shows how far along your unlock is, see the second photo below. It's total rubbish, after a day or 2 I gat another automated email saying that the iPad is lost or stolen and blacklisted (funny, as Apple didn't tell me that!) So they could offer me the premium service at £99.99 but get this, as a goodwill gesture I could use an online voucher so it would only cost me £49.99. I read the small print and this is where I stopped paying up. It states that if your device is blacklisted then it won't work. I emailed this to customer services (They don't reply). I have reported them to trading standards. Don't give them any more money, it doesn't work no matter what the site says.

I've been scammed!
June 12, 2020

I would like to inform everyone that the website "AppleiPhoneUnlock.uk" is a SCAM. Last week I decided to use their services to unlock a 2nd hand iPad that I purchased. I paid the initial fee of 27$ after that they ask you to either provide the contact of the original owner so that they can contact them for you, if you don't have that information (which I assume most people who use this service don't), you're supposed to pay an additional 49$ so that they can unlock it anyway. So I did. A few days later I received an email informing me that the unlocking had failed since the iPad is "blacklisted", which is weird since there's no official database that tells you weather an iPad/iPhone is "blacklisted" or not, and they said that the only way to get a refund is by presenting the original Apple invoice; which another way of saying that I will never get my money back ( if I had the invoice or if I had the contact information of the original owner, I wouldn't have used this service). Finally, they offered that I purchase a service called (premium) that can unlock even "blacklisted" devices for an extra 49£, which means that they make up the fact that a device is "blacklisted" in order to get you to pay more and more in a total breach of the Consumer Rights Act of 2015! In brief, this is a SCAM and I want to advise anyone who's looking for this kind of service to keep away from this website because you will regret it.
Take care,
PS: They offered me a so called voucher and I kept informing them that a voucher is useless to me. Moreover, would you trust these guys if they offered you anything? Not me, not after this experience.

My mistake believing their advertised claims and reviews on their web site, it cost me approx. $175.00 and got nothing except delays, lies and ignoring my emails when I have asked for a refund. Nochex has done nothing after many claims from clients, something must be done to stop this bad practices of scams and ripping people money.

Paid £19.99 and to unlock my ipod touch from icloud. I was the told it was £30 extra to finish the job. I asked what i paid £19.99 and was told a template letter to take to apple or the old owner. Total scam. I said i want a refund and they just offered a voucher for next time. Reported to the banks fraud department as no hope of any refund

We wanted to have our IPhone unlocked, since it took ages doing it via vodafone, which offers this service for free. We paid £14.99 as quoted on their website. It all looked promising till we got an email asking for a second payment of £57.50 to finish the unlocking. They said that it was mentioned in small print before paying, but when I went back to their website, it said that the second payment would be £30! They reduced the payment to £52.20, but still much higher than on their website and no explanation why.

When ordering unlocking services, be careful a lot of scammers. The bright representative of sites with fraudulent schemes of receiving money is the site appleiphoneunlock.uk. Initially for the iCloud® Activation Lock removal service you are attracted with a not large amount of payment $27, then under the pretext of difficulty of unlocking ask for another $42 and after payment ask for another $99, allegedly phone in the status lost/stolen. To verify the status are referred to the http://cleancheck.me, further organized fraudulent manipulation of the contract and http://cleancheck.me, where initially your IMEI is recorded as lost/stolen. Naturally no returns on their part. On many websites on the Internet the activity of the appleiphoneunlock.uk is listed as a site of frauds. Documents are currently being collected to apply to the police and to the Federal Bureau of Investigation Internet Crime Complaint Centr (IC3).
My example: I forgot the ID unlock password. Turned to appleiphoneunlock.uk to unlock from me took $27, then $42, further under the guise that my watch lost wanted to take another $99 through fraudulent manipulation of the contract and http://cleancheck.me. Well I was lucky and Apple support confirmed that this is my watch and now I use it again without restrictions. On the Apple site, the clock on my ID, clean, not blocked and not lost, but note on the site http://cleancheck.me the clock is listed as lost, funny. They don 't want to make a $27 and $42 refund. They will be returned more by court.

This is a scam! Stay away. They will sell you a service and then immediately tell you that you must pay more to actually get the service. Then, a few days later they will tell you they cannot help you because your device is stolen or lost... which it isn't. Instead of a refund, they will give you a voucher to use on their site, which is obviously useless. Stay away! Research them. This is how their scam works. Any positive reviews are clearly fake!

This is truly a scam as they will keep sending you links to make payment for premium service while they will first state it would take $20 to unlock and then will state you need to contact previous owner/apple to unlock and suggest go with activation unlock which is around $40 once opting for that they would say that the phone is marked by carrier as lost/stolen and ask for proof of purchase and other information. But the main reason for choosing their service is to go for unlock as we do not have these information. Then finally they will send you a link which they say as premium service and charge close to $60 and thats when i woke up and stop listening to them. They will stop responding to you once you ask them to confirm on the unlock before asking for more money. I suggest genuinely to stay away rather with money spent you could end up buying a new android phone or in my case the iphone 5S was not worth more than $100 as i wanted to unlock for my mom as a remembrance from the past. But the funny part is during the email exchange they state as Ipad and Iphone X etc which clearly shows they are scripted and do not even edit before sending a response

Stay away
April 17, 2020

If you value your money stay away from this site. I wish I would have done my research before I used them but what's done is done. They refused to give me a refund. They wanted to funnel more money out of me. Saying it would take more money. Do yourself a favor and just stay away. Do a little digging and you'll see that they'll charge 27 for an iCloud unlock then they'll come with they need another 42 to finish. If you ask for a refund they'll "suggest" you finish at a discounted price of 32... I didn't neither should anyone else. Others did and with a little Google search you can see what happens then. 0 stars!

SCAMMMMMMM!
April 9, 2020

To get my iphone unlock, I have been charged two times $20 and $50.
So simply, i made two stupid decisions.
Now they are trying to charge more money for premium service which i don't believe.
Honestly, I can say many positive reviews on this site are made by FAKERs and I think appleiphoneunlock regularly posts positive reviews for cheating many people.
I have read so many negative reviews on google that says this site is SCAM and now, I decided to stop paying extra money for fake premium service. I will try to get my money refunded.
I think appleiphoneunlock will remove my post to hide their dirty service but i will post my reviews every time they remove.
I will stop it once i get my money back.
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE!

Don't trust them. I trusted them and this what happened to me. I payed $27 for Apple iCloud activation lock removal. After I made the payment, they took me to another page requesting a proof of ownership of my device to proceed with my service or I should pay additional $42 to by pass this process. So I payed the $42 and then after 3 days they emailed me and told me that my Apple device has been reported as lost/stolen which is a lie. So because of that I need a premium service in order to to get my Apple activation lock removed. They asked me for additional £49.99 for the premium service. I told them I don't want and they should refund my payment but they refused.

Scam.
March 26, 2020

Would give 0 stars if possible.

Misleading claims.

Had an iCloud activation locked iPhone I purchased on ebay, checked the IMEI to be clean and paid the 1st "pre-order" of the service at USD27

3 days later they said I needed to make another payment as that was the "pre-order" and confirmed this will be the final payment of 30, began to trust them a little as they looked legit with reviews but boy was I wrong.

2 days from the 2nd payment, they come back to me saying it's a stolen iPhone (which is not as IMEI is clean) and said they have a "Premium Service" that can bypass this at USD99, and as a goodwill act, what I paid so far will be given to me in a voucher but cannot be used on this USD99 premium service. Load of bull, major regret.

Edit: after I made a claim against the merchant from my credit card, a "dispute resolution" team emailed me promising to refund me fully the moment i withdraw my claim. Not going to fall for it and will keep everyone posted.

If you see all the positive reviews, the same poster is posting on several unlock iphone websites - makes you wonder why he/she has so many phones to unlock? Or could it be, a fake review. I'll leave the conclusion to you.

Do not use! Don't make my mistake.
