Mario Russo and his crews built the screen enclosure around our new in-ground pool. Prior to hiring him, we obtained a quote for his services. After getting feedback from others, we wanted to make sure that drains were installed in our pool screen and discussed this with Mario. The quote we received very specifically states that four (4) drains were included in the price. We hired him to do the work. After the pool screen was completed and the crews were ready to leave, we questioned why there were no drains installed and were told that these were on back order. After waiting months and following up several times with Mario, we checked on-line only to find that the company that made the type of drain he wanted to install is no longer in business. We tried to discuss this with Mario and offered several alternative drains that could be installed. His response was that they were too expensive. Now as we all know, the prices on everything have significantly increased. And if the product you used to buy is no longer available, you have to buy what is. In fairness, we offered to split the cost with Mario but he will not return numerous calls or messages left.
Additionally, the very first time it rained following installation of the pool screen, the Super Gutter which he installed was leaking. We brought this to Mario's attention and were promised several times that crews would be by to fix it. They never came and now, months later, the problem has still not been resolved. As with the drain issue, Mario does not return numerous calls or messages and clearly has no intention of correcting the problem and standing behind the workmanship of his crews.
So be forewarned that although this company may at first be responsive and faster than some to perform installation, you don't get what you pay for, there is no quality control and no customer service. They are just quick to take your money and then you will not hear from them again.
After this experience, I began to look into this company and found that they have undergone several name changes, as well as Contractor license number changes and locations. It is apparent now why this was done – they screw customers and then try to get more by changing into something else (ie: Mario Russo Aluminum, Mr. Aluminum, Treasure Coast Marine Inc., Family Pools). The company you hire may even have a different name, but be warned against an Owner named Mario Russo.

If you're a new or growing business, this will be the single worst mistake you could make for your business. By the time you find out that there's dozens of options for exponentially less money, you'll be 6 months into a year contract with a terrible cancellation policy.

Do not be confused, this company does not care about your company.
They care about milking money from you while providing a $#*! service.

Look around in your industry and there will be dozens of better alternatives.

I wouldn't touch Angi with a 10 foot pole

After a lot of research for our tub to shower conversion, we scheduled an appointment with Five Star Bath Solutions of Plano. We were blessed to have Ankita Mehta come out and I can't begin to explain what a wonderful experience we had with her. She provided an extremely thorough presentation and even though we had already scheduled a few appointments with other companies, we decided - right then and there - to choose Five Star for our project. THANK YOU, Ankita, and now I have to go cancel some appointments.

Worst thing we did was go with them to advertise have the nerve to chrge a huge fee to get out early only one making money on this scam is angie.

Don't use these clowns. They call you, set an appointment and never show or call. Total a-clowns period!

Could you please call me back in November last year you're gonna be a great deal they claimed long long story short I never used their services Yet they are taking out of my bank every month over $ 900 And every month and return making all my bills bounce now I can't pay my bills my bank account is negative and they will not give me my refund and nor will they give me anyone higher up to talk to Maybe If I Stay with them they will get me a refund They say I'm not eligible for one right now because I didn't stay with them Help these people are scam artists and they do it every month to how many people that are on fixed incomes I want something to happen to him it's ridiculous all these people during the covid time have been hard enough time and then we have to go deal with this My bank is negative due to Angie's list and I cannot pay my bills All that cheese with my bag every month

Quoted me a price of $244.74, but hit my card for 271.78. Called customer service immediately and was told there was nothing he could do! Stay away from Angi. It is not worth the trouble!

I used to use Angi's list all the time. Over recent years with the merger with Service Advisor they are too panful to use. They really about selling space to their listers and harvesting your data to force you to go through them. It is impossible to get to easy vendor searches so you can reach out. It you want to communicate through Angi you must use their app, the web site does not support messages to/from bidders. I miss Kudzu and the old Angi's List.
