Had AC installed in my son's home by Sprowls Mechanical. Very professional from beginning to end, every thing they referenced to the order of work was written and in detailed. Prompt on arrival the day of service and completed in a timely manner. If and when I had to call to make a change for any reason, I always received a return call back by the owner, Chester within a few minutes.
Great customer service and as my son stated an awesome group of guys. I would definitely recommend their service.
Lance from Handyman Connection did great work for us. He replaced rotten wood, power washed and painted our deck and railings. We will definitely use this company again and request him.
Awesome, great company, great process and hopefully leave a review for others to go visit and draw their own conclusions for their project.
Left a review, but it didn't show up in "my reviews". So I attempted to leave it again. We'll see how that goes
Brad is very knowledgeable, professional, on time, and neat with the work that he have provided for me. I recommend him to build your deck.
Angi's provided several pros necessary for me to choose from for paver landscaping backyard design.
Angi's kept in contact with me by checking progress of chosen project pro.
The removal of 6 racoons was done very well. I will use this company again. I have only good things to say about this company, very good and reliable company.
My experience was fine. I enjoy assisting the designer showcase my home design project.
We went to Angi looking for local contractors to replace our kitchen cabinet door and drawer fronts. We found several to choose from, contacted 3 for estimates and selected one for the job, which was completed to our complete satisfaction.
BUISNESSES BEWARE! My plumbing business has been paying for advertising on Angielist/aka Angi Ads for 15 years, I'm highly rated and five star.
I started questioning the drastic reduction in customer calls over a 6 year period, even though im the highest rated out of the competition. So I searched my company on Angis list directory, found my business directory and then proceeded to get a quote from my business. Minutes later my business did receive the request for a quote, but 20 minutes later, Angi emailed me privately with a large email title stating " Your Neighbors Recommend this pro", the email then touted another plumbing company reviews and to press this button for a quote. Needless to say I was stunned, I'm paying Angi to advertise other companies!
I did another quote request from my company, and sure enough another private Angi, bait and switch email came in, with the same wording recommending another plumbing company.
I immediately called my advertising agent and told her about the fraudulent, bait and switch emails Angi was sending my customers. She then explained I had to spend more money in advertising to get more calls! She could not grasp that i didn't matter how much I spent, because Angi was coercing the customer after choosing me, that that customers neighbor trusts and uses this contractor. Angi could not grasp this on how many levels this is actually is stealing and fraudulent. Further I had been complaining for months that my company had not had the service award that we earned touted on our profile, but it was being touted on my competitors to make them look better if possible. After mentioning that my attorney was going to be contacted, those coercing emails stopped and the service award was listed, that same day.
I want a full refund of my advertising atleast for the last 6 years!
Businesses beware, Angi Ads is taking my money that I pay monthly and privately emailing the customer to use a "Homeadvisor" lead fee contractors!
They have taken on a new approach. Look for powell and sons at this link, Get Professional Services by Local Contractors (powellandsons.com) while just googling companies qualified to repaint your metal roof- you will find no phone number, be duped into thinking you are contacting a qualified pro, and then will get hammered with emails thanking you for everything from replacing the carburetor in your car to insulation. They will send FALSE leads to companies which, to my shock, said i wanted insulation? I stupidly called them last night, email from Angi and received home advisor when i called them on their crap to complain on behalf of us all and literally was passed to the complaints department where they refused to hear me and passed me to customer service - they know the game they are playing, AFTER I got a few contractors who actually thought I wanted insulation and an asphalt roof I told them all to apply for a credit! Told Angi/HomeAdvisor you all are a scam. They are using fake websites now to get you to submit a contact form. LOOK FOR A PHONE NUMBER AND CALL THE CONTRACTOR DIRECTLY, if there isnt one, then it's a scam. I learned the annoying and hard way yesterday.
Used it to get things done and find things to do! Works great
I chose Anji to leave a review regarding some work I had done. But I needed to create an account in order to leave the review. I was mislead and now expect to receive a lot of junk mail.
Anytime I needed a repairman Angie has come through for me almost immediately! I would rather have multiple calls from people who are willing to help me then waiting for someone on my own. Angie seems to be very prompt and persistent at getting people the help they need. Angi also seems to know who is available so issues can be addressed as quickly as possible.
They were here on time. They removed the tub and put me a new shower. It was a great experience. I am really going to enjoy it. Couldn't be more pleased.
Immediately after I made an Angi inquiry, I started getting large numbers of robocalls and solicitation to my cell phone. Most of the tradespeople I made inquiry with never contacted me or most were less than professional. I think Angi now focuses on selling your personal information. I won't use them again. As much as I dislike Yelp, the trade leads are good and I don't have a problem with spammers.
A short story: I am a plumbing professional running my own small business that WAS on Angi's Pro Services. It is a scam. I had my leads paused from other issues I was having with the system. During this time that they should not have been able to charge me, they gave me a pre-scheduled appointment at a customer's house that I could not cancel and charged me immediately. Contact information for the customer went to voicemail. Customer called me days later and said they had no idea why I had been given their number as the project had been completed weeks ago. I filed for a credit to my account and was denied.
ONE OF SEVERAL similar issues I had in the span of a month.
Answer: You'll have to contact the website directly. They don't monitor the Sitejabber website. Try to see if you can get them to delete your profile. If not, I would contact the Better Business Bureau or the Attorney General's office or another state law enforcement office in your state. This sounds like fraud to me (but, I'm not a lawyer).
