I needed my gutters cleaned, I got a referral from the Angi site and made an appointment... when the gutter cleaner arrived, he didn't have a ladder that could reach my gutters, so I cancelled the service. Without asking how the appointment went, Angi went ahead and charged me over $200 anyway. When I saw the charge, I called their customer service to ask for a refund, They refused, and would only give me half of it back. So, I was charged over $100 for nothing... no work was done. There is NO reason to use Angi... they are worse than useless. Go direct to the service provider you need... or you might pay Angi for nothing.
For MONTHS now (4+) our company has been unable to get assistance or even a RESPONSE from their customer service reps. We have been assigned new client success managers more times than I can count, and can never get anyone to resolve our issues.
They called our Business at least once a week for months trying to get us to sign a contract with them, and doing so was the worst decision we could've made. As soon as they had their money and contract they have completely ghosted us. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANY SERVICE PROVIDERS. We just were charged for our account today but STILL can't get a simple email or call back regarding our account questions.
I prefer the older version of "Angie's List". The new website tries to push directly into letting businesses approach you, rather than just allowing you to research the businesses directly yourself. Too many clicks required to "just get on with" your search
This is the worst thing you can do for your business! DO NOT USE THEM! My sells men named Brandon Mullins sold me a package and was not 100% straight with me! Stay away at all cost! Don't fall for the scam!
Good lord! Where do I begin? Angi won't even send you the full name or phone number of the person who they have picked to come and do your work! I got a fake phone # that connected to his real number just a day ahead of time. This is absolutely bizarre. I couldn't see reviews of this workman or anything about his company. All was opaque. It's official: I hate Angi.
I have used Angi for a number of jobs, but my most recent experience has been terrific for our hardwood flooring project. We had five qualified, quality companies provide us with onsite estimates (any one of them would have been terrific), and it was honestly hard to choose. Our project was done flawlessly by the company we chose. We will be following up with them again for the next phase of our project.
As for information, recommendations and advice, Angi can't be beat. I love the monthly newsletter/magazine and all of the info that is available on the website. It's awesome!
Once I found Angi, I had to jump through several hoops before I could finally leave a review. This rating page I am on right now is unnecessarily difficult. The first version did not have the Captcha slot. Neither does this one. You are not optimized for Android at all.
Good experience, angi is one network, fast response and excelent thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks
I didn't even want to give them 1 star, but that is the only way to submit a review. They do not enforce prospective clients to fill out the forms completely. 90% did not respond back to us when we we would call and email them. Customer representative never called us or contacted us after we wanted to change our feature from trees to fertilizer and weed control. Found out a couple months later that he quit. Found this out by calling Angi wondering what was going on. Everytime we called it would take a minimum of 10 to 15 minutes for them to give us the right contact to talk to. While I understand that maybe they were working on what could be done, I don't care for everyone telling us I have to deal with my account rep. When I want to talk to someone higher up about my issues( ESPECIALLY WHEN THE REP WAS THE PROBLEM). Do not let you out of a contract even though they dropped the ball. Angi failed to perform not once but twice. That failure is a failure of the current Management ( their piers) for not having protocols in place when the account Manager is the issue.
I was doing a lot jobs for this angis service and I don't get pay for it. They scams and you don't get pay be aware
Excellent Company. Responsive, professional and reasonably priced. They installed a Radon system in our 6,000 (plus) square foot home, bring the radon levels down from 55 Ci/L to 2.1Ci/L. The fan is very quiet and we were extraordinarily pleased with every aspect of their work. I highly recommend this company to everyone dealing with radon issues in their home.
Had a tech install a dishwasher las Tuesday(8-16-2022) thought everything was OK. 2 days later I noticed the rug in front of the sink was wet(thought dog had peed). Noticed area was still wet, realized there was a leak. Contacted Angi's on Friday(8-19) Was given an appointment for today(8/22) at 8:00. Tech messages me "I made it", no where to be seen at my address. No idea where he was and he was told to leave. Phoned Angi 3 times still no tech for 4 more days. Would give them a minus 10 if possible. Would never recommend them to my worst enemy. Now my kitchen floor is ruined.
It was on a Friday, after vendor failed to follow-thru on contract, I was left up the creek without a paddle. Made a few calls. Had two other parties show up, and took a look. He was able to do what others were not able to do.
The wall was fixed in two visits and It looks like there was never an ac there.
Patch and paint foundation around the house. Had to buy materials needed at Home Depot.
Person came with a regular drill, not the heavy duty equipment that was required. He didn't know what to do. Job was not complete d. Angi will only give us a 50% credit. This is no good to us because we will never use Angi again. It took an hour on hold for that.
I was Contacted bye the Handyman and he answered all my questions and I ask for an appointment. He was on time and without wasting any time he went to work. Nice job.
I booked service for assembling two large pieces of furniture. For this, I paid $275. When my guy showed up, his understanding was that he'd receive $125 for assembling one item, not two. He did the work anyway. Since this was clearly Handy's fault, I thought it would be a simple thing to have them give him the money he was owed. But no. When I contacted support, I was told that the onus was on him. He showed up expecting one thing and got another. The idea that a 1/2 billion dollar company would not reimburse this poor guy is absolutely disgusting. Unethical. I will never use Handy again and suggest that you do the same. Unbelievable.
Air conditioning emergency- diagnosed and repaired as soon as needed!
Answer: You'll have to contact the website directly. They don't monitor the Sitejabber website. Try to see if you can get them to delete your profile. If not, I would contact the Better Business Bureau or the Attorney General's office or another state law enforcement office in your state. This sounds like fraud to me (but, I'm not a lawyer).
