I was a pro on Angie's list which is getting rip off by this company because of their employees who doesn't do their job, I couldn't get any product to sell customers and I could only do service calls and I notified angis list several times that I couldn't do installs and the claim they was going to take them off so I wouldn't get install customers set to me but they didn't do it and they kept sending me install customers anyways which ran my bill up to 1300 an something with them when in a 4 months I was with them and only made 1500 with them so if I had paid I would have only made less then 200 of course now their sending me to collects over this rip off and not only that when I was with them over half of my customers I got was fake and when they give u credit for these customers u don't get credit for the full amount they charge you if customers cost u 90 dollars u would only get a credit of 28 dollars back for the fake customer I've tried speaking with them about this and they claimed they was going to take this 1300 dollars fee and reduce it down to 360 which is still a rip off when I had told them not to send me that type of work but still did so if ur a pro I'd advise you don't do it instead of them go to thumbtack their so much better they don't have fake customers and they don't rip their pros off especially if ur just starting ur business up STAY AWAY FROM ANGIE'S LIST RIPOFF COMPANY WITH WORKERS WHO DOESN'T DO THEIR JOB AND THEY DONT HELP U

If I could give negative reviews I would... Angielist charges a few hundred dollars when you sign up. Then they charge you an additional $800 dollars for who only knows what reason. Then you hey try and charge you an additional $1000 on top of that with an explanation. And if you don't pay it they suspended your account. Learned that the hard way. Why does Angielist not help people who want to start a business instead of stealing money from people that are starting a business.It's ridiculous that y'all have to lie to people just to get them to sign up with y'all. I tell you what my business was doing good before you and it's doing good without y'all... Angielist is t nothing but a bunch of lying idiots

I joined home advisor and had immense success, once Angi bought it its all about the scamming now, fake leads phone numbers that go nowhere. Then when you ask for a credit its like pulling teeth.

Last month, we needed a refrigerator repair person, so we contacted Angi. First, they connected us with a CARPENTER. Obviously, he was confused. We had to contact Angi a second time and they put us in touch with an "appliance repair person". He said that the compressor was working, so it MUST BE the thermostat. We purchased a new thermostat and he came back to install it. At this time, we learned that he is a "handy man", NOT an appliance repair person. HE WAS WRONG, the refrigerator still didn't work and we PAID $209 for a "service" that did not fix our refrigerator. On our own, we finally found an actual appliance repair and he fixed our refrigerator in one hour for $175. On Angi's website, it states that they have a "HAPPINESS GUARANTEE", so my husband sent an email requesting that they refund the $209 on the repair person they connected us to that had no idea how to fix our refrigerator. No response to the email. I sent a second, very long email about the happiness guarantee; no response. My husband contacted them a THIRD time; no response. They we received an email asking how our experience was; again, they never followed up. WE WASTED $209 FOR REPAIRS, PLUS $30 FOR A PART THAT WE DIDN'T NEED; SO WE WASTED $239 BY USING ANGI. Never again!

I have tried multiple times after I joined Angie and I cannot make the app work people come out that are not scheduled I am rescheduled without asking it's insane I'm very disappointed I love the what they call Pros that people that come to work they are wonderful the people I talk to on Angie's List are mainly okay I've had one person tell me don't call here or call there okay fine I've called everywhere and I still have not had satisfaction to my problems overall I'm glad I joined because now I have people coming to help me before I had no one

Angis ads is a scam just like all other lead generating apps. You pay $300 a month for 2 actual leads. While the rest are spam or conartists.Needless to say I will not be renewing my contract

Patriot Projects does amazing work. If you are looking for dependable, skilled workers you will be so impressed with Stewart and his crew! If you want someone who is cost conscious, communicates well, and never have a surprise cost or quality. This is your group! So glad they were and are on Angi!

I saw an ad for Angi's list and thought I'd sign up by business. BIG MISTAKE! Within NO TIME I was bombarded with phone calls from their staff trying to sell me ads and leads. 2 & 3 times a DAY! They talk to you like your beneith them... I told one guy that I can do my OWN marketing... His response was " Well if that was working for you then you wouldn't be here on Angi's site" Mind you, I hadn't even filled out 25% of my profile yet... I called them back as I had no way of deleting my profile. I was advised that they cant "Delete" it but they just mask it so nobody can see it.
I don't want anythign ever to do with this comoany. They have poor business ethics and treat customers that DON'T pay them like trash. Its a HARD PASS for me! NEVER AGAIN! Angi has lost my respect... AND my business.

I will never book through Angi's List again. They are not for the customer. I had a repairman come out in Sept 2022 to repair our washing machine. I do not have that repairman's contact information and Angi's does not keep any type of service report to advise me of the service completed. Our washing machine started to have the same issue in Nov 2022, but it was already 60 days past the warranty per Angi's. Now, it is really having issues and I was told by a local appliance repair store here that the mother board of our washing machine that the repairman replaced has a warranty of one year. Angi's claims that have reached out to the repairman twice for him to call me (because for some reason they cannot give me his contact number) but he has not called me. I am beginning to believe that Angi's did NOT contact the repairman because if he contacts me directly, Angi's doesn't get paid. ZERO HELP FOR THE CUSTOMER. Also, when I call Angi's, I get to talk to someone that is not state-side. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

They take no accountability for there mistakes they were sending me fake leads literally I called a lead and she said I had the wrong number and she doesn't know what I was talking about and when I called customer service I had to go back and forth on a straight forward complaint. The worst part they try to charge you for every lead and none of my leads amounted to anything literally every person I would call and text no response and messages left on read this sight is a scam… please request your money back through your credit card company as a scam website not satisfied and explain they will most definitely work with you you will get your money back directly from Angi or your credit card company

This company is a fraud. I paid up front for a service. They sent a questionable handyman who could not do the work for the agreed upon price. They told me I could apply the pre-paid amount to another project. When I called to schedule it they wanted me to pay again. I have been unable to get in touch with anyone who will help me.

Larry Shavers did an awesome job on my project. I would recommend him for any project. He knows what he is doing.

I am a small business owner and I signed up with Angi and was very clear about my monthly max spend limit. I was assured that I would not be charged or go above that limit no matter what. Then all of a sudden I got charged $3,000 because of their hidden fees and fraudulent sales pitches. I had to be on the phone multiple times for over 3 hours to even get in touch with someone who could help me in the slightest. They then dropped it to $1,500 and have been threatening to send me to collections. They are a terrible business, terrible customer service, rude, and they trick people. STAY FAR AWAY. ESPECIALLY if you are a business owner just getting started. They will try and cripple you financially for no actual good leads that turn into anything no matter how excellent you are.

I signed up with Angi for a company I'm thinking about starting, when angi first reached out i informed them i wasnt in need of their support team until probably 6 months from now. I have received 2 phone calls a week asking if im ready to start now to which i tell them no 6 months only to be given another call a few days later. Ive now blocked the sales number after recieving 7 calls in less than a month.

TLDR:
The sales team is far too aggressive and doesn't respect the word NO.

Good job, a responsible, dedicated, hard working, knowledgeable in what they are doing and responsible team. Latina-owned business which I support.

If you can avoid these thieves I would do so without question. They are the most unethical lead aggregator in the business. They will charge you $200 for garbage leads who don't speak the language and if the lead is LOOKING FOR WORK and doesn't have work for yo, too bad, you get charged. If they try one time to confirm that a lead is junk and don't get through, YOU STILL PAY. They are the WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. NEVER USE THEM.

Your phone will explode as soon as they know you open a company. But they are rude, they do not respect others budiness, they are very arrogant, they dont know how to talk with a company. Definitely do not lose your money because they will not respect and will talk to you after grab your money like in hood. Zero stars for this leads company and very dissapointed. I have got a call from an employee and from her supervisor and they treat me without respect, they hang up arrogant persons

I was trying to find someone to fix a clogged sewer pipe. Was told someone would be here the next day at 9 am which I thought was strange since I couldn't find anyone locally. The apt was cancelled that morning and rescheduled for the next Saturday at 5 p.m. I was told I could contact the " pro", I live in PA, the "pro" had an Alabama phone number. Contacted customer service which is obviously in another country. Finally was able to cancel the whole thing. Later, got a call asking if I'd found someone, when I said yes, I was hung up on. Have been receiving texts and emails all day from them. Avoid Angi at all costs, hey have no clue what they're doing.
