Easy to measure out the size I needed. Easy to order. My husband and son installed the stairlift in about half a day. Experienced installers probably could have installed it quicker but they wanted to make sure everything was done right. I now have access to the cellar where all the exercise equipment is located and my husband has a much easier way to haul bags of wood pellets upstairs!
I believe that I had made a good decision to buy this stairlift from Ameriglide. The length was pre-cut to fit my stair perfectly. It came with safety features so we can use it with peaceful mind. The self-installed instruction video clip is easy to follow. My parents love it, and I am satisfied with this order.
I would recommend for anyone who looks for one.

Fast and easy process. We purchased an outside chair lift. We love it.
My wife and I both have had knee replacements, but going up and down our basement stairs has become a problem. Then I looked into the stair glide adds and decided to purchase the Ameriglide system. I purchased the AC, 350 model and installed it myself. Everything fit fine and installed with no problems. I am a retired tool and die maker, and recognize good workmanship when I see it. This is a well made system.
And my wife and I just love it. I highly recommend this product.
I love my Ameriglide! It was easy to order, fast on delivery, and the instalation was right away. Everyone was great to work with. I hated the thought of my needing a chairlift but now I wish I had done it a lot sooner. It is Great! Pam
Dealing with this company has been very easy and straight forward. The sales staff are most helpful and the tech staff was exceedingly responsive to my contractor as he was making sure we got exactly what I wanted! The production of my lift was handled quickly and the shipment arrived when promised. The installation was relatively straightforward and I my lift was installed by my deadline--in time for my wheelchair bound father to join in holiday gatherings. It works beautifully, is just what I wanted/needed and, perhaps best of all, is MADE IN THE USA!
The installation went smoothly for our stair chair. It has worked easily and smoothly ever since. We would certainly reccomend Ameriglide and their product. We found the staff communicated well with us and gave us more than enough information to let us know that they were there should we need assistance at any time. Thamks to Ameriglide and their workers.
This was the first time that I have made a major purchase (roughly $2,000) using only the website and its reviews as a source. The product (a chair lift for a stairs) is not something otherwise available in my area. I was impressed by the detail and pricing information on the website and also the number of product reviews. Still, I made the purchase with some trepidation. Everything arrived and worked out as described on the website. I was able to install the product myself and am very pleased with the item. I would purchase again from this business and recommend it to others.
Not so sure about the website. However, I ordered a $5,000 lift ramp and the manual and instructions that came with the lift ramp were not helpful.
I expect, as a consumer, that if I send that kind of money, then the product should come with ample instructions and security that my money was well spent.
I dont believe the reviews I read on other sites because half of them sound like they were written by the site designer themselves. However, you can belive this one;-). AmeriGlide was awesome. We have never installed one of these and after watching video it was easy. Everything we needed was included, we received the items as promised and had it installed whithin an hour. You guys were great!

I had a horrible experience with this company. They were VERY charming when I was ordering the product, then completely dropped the ball to follow through on the whereabouts of this product. When I called to ask them they didn't know said they would follow up, but there was no follow up. After over a month of waiting, I called again, they were rude, almost hostile. I personally would NOT do business with them, their follow through and follow up rates a complete zero in my book. I am sorry I have to write this, the truth hurt s but this was my experience and I just didn't need any more on my plate, having to be a 100% care giver is difficult to handle, I did not need this hasstle.
I purchased 2 Ameriglide stair chairs to make it easier for my wife to get from the bottom level of our tri level home to the top after she had surgery. I researched many different stair lifts and decided on the Ameriglide based on the models that were available and that they supported do it your self installation. A few of the other sites tried to discourage any self installation without even asking what my skill levels were. (They wanted the money for the installation). After speaking to a sales representetive at Ameriglide I felt they had what I wanted at a fair price. I purchased 120 volt systems because I have a large whole house backup generator, also self installed, and I didn't want the hassle of battery problems. The representetive said it should take about 2 hours to install each unit, but I found that I had 4 hours on the first one and 1.5 hours on the second. I may have taken a little longer because I ran dedicated plugs which were placed at the end of each unit so I didn't have the long cords which came with them. Both units worked fine right out of the box and the only thing I would suggest is that you be sure you have an extra person to put the top piece together with the track. The instructions were very good and all of the parts were there. One side note I probably will remove these and store them after my wife's rehab is done but will keep them for later use. Just be sure your stairs are wide enough if you plan on walking up and down them while the lift is in place, we have 44 inch wide stairs so it's not really a problem.
I ordered a walk in tub from Ameriglide, I was never giving any shipping info. I called and emailed several time, either being sent to someone's voice mail or no response. I finally got an answer several weeks after ordering and was told it was on back order. I cancelled my order. The customer service was non-existent. I will not be ordering from them again.
The ameriglide rep was extremely helpful. The product works as advertised. I installed it myself with help from mom at only 1 point lining up the long piece of track. The instructions were adequate, however, more illustrations would help. The instructions explained a rave with only 2 sections of track but mine had 3. I figured it out, but proceeded with extreme caution because I didn't want to ruin a very expensive item or drill any extra holes in my parents floor. Also, the measurements and installation guide should include a diagram defining things like"back of the step" "last step" & "front of the step." these can be interpreted differently... i. e. Is the last step a step or the floor of the second story? One thing I found useful was using all the L-shaped packaging cardboard to protect the stair edges. I also stacked some together to position the rail height. You can cut the L-pieces easily with a wood saw to make multiple 12" pieces. The installation video on youtube was for a different model with different hardware--not too useful; I hope someone creates a video for the rave. I am very mechanically inclined and installation took about 6 hours--using extreme caution added a little time. A diagram showing the final assembled dimensions would also help--I could have gotten the chair 2" closer to the wall, but I had no way of knowing exactly how close the chair back would be to the stair's existing chair rail.
I ordered the Vesta and recently installed it for my parents to easily access their basement laundry. It wasn't difficult to install and the directions were straight forward. I would highly recommend this particular unit especially if you have a narrow stairwell since the seat, arms and foot rest all fold up. This unit allows for passage around the chair if needed. Well built and my parents absolutely love it!
The website is great. Easy to understand, easy to navigate. Led us to purchase the Rave Stair Climber. Mr. Harmon was a wonderful sales person and the installation crew was very efficiant. Would recommend this site to anyone looking for anything to fit their medical needs.
We have had a very good experience with the ameriglide ramp we purchased. My 2 sons installed in about 3 hours. Makes trips to the basement for both of us much easier.

The lift chair system arrived as promised and was a snap to install. We installed the unit in about 2 hours, and it works as advertised. We would recommend it to anyone needing a lift chair. Evan was a great salesman and adviser on this project. Thanks.
Great product. It was everything described. A perfect do it yourself kit. Highly recommended.
Chris, I am so happy with my AmeriGlide stair lift. Received the item on a Friday and it was installed Saturday without any problems. The stair lift is perfect with the materials and workmanship up to the highest standards. Thank you for all your help and it was a pleasure to work with you. I certainly would recommend this item to everyone. Loretta Murphy
