Will not cover parts under warranty. Bad place to do business with. I've been in auto repair business for 40 years and AM parts tells me I ordered the wrong water pump for my car. They are wrong, the pump is the exact replacement pump for my car and it failed after 10 months. Has a 1 year warranty and they will not honor it. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE!
Stay away! Do not spend your money here not unless you have money to waste! If you value your money take it somewhere else and spend it!
What you buy, is not what you get. Purchased Bosch ignition coils, got chinese TRQ ignition coils. Now vendor is playing stupid with the return (maybe). Vendor's customer service is unqualified to handle reason.
They sell defective parts without giving the parts the once over my absolutely last time ordering from them
I wanted to make a warranty claim on a 2013 Silverado master window switch. Since they do not offer a phone number, I sent multiple messages via their website, and was NEVER responded to. The 10 year warranty was worthless since I had to buy the part from another company. I will NEVER buy from AM-Autoparts.com ever again!
Ordered a mirror for my truck, never received a confirmation email for the order. I emailed them twice because they don't have a number to call. Finally see the charge on my credit card and took over a week to get it. Opened the box and it was broken. Emailed them now 2 more times to return it, and still no response. Stay away from this business, I learned my lesson!
If you value your hard earned money, avoid this company. They took my money, never shipped the product and called me a fraud when I tried to get it back.
Parts were ordered on Thursday evening and a charge of $55 was paid for OVERNIGHT shipping. Shipment did not arrive until the following Monday, causing the vehicle to be down an additional day and a loss of revenue. When contacted, OLIVIA informed me that they do not ship on Saturdays and then proceeded to bounce any further emails to their "no-reply" link, thus blocking further communication with the company. After informing them I would be taking it up with my Credit Card company, another rep reached out informing me that I would not be reimbursed the excessive shipping charges for services not rendered.
Beware of this company. If they dont want to deal with you, they bounce your emails to the "no reply" and refuse to refund for services NOT rendered. Were talking $25 vs the $100s that was lost in revenue from the vehicle being down. $25 in the scheme of things is ridiculous but its principle in these trying times. Any company that cannot afford a $25 refund to maintain a client relationship doesnt deserve to be in business.
Ordered a part that had a 10 year warranty. After 4 months it failed. They won't honor the warranty blaming me instead.
I was assure by AM that the part I was buying for my was the correct one. I ordered the part on got it on Dec 21. Not having a garage I had to wait for the first nice day to install it. On February 3rd there was a break in the weather and I tried to install it. I could not because it was THE WRONG part. I explained to AM and requested a refund and they refused stating it was past 30 days.
I bought a diet of ball joints that said 10 year warranty. Lasted 5 months 1 broke and the other one was about to. Went to return them and they said 60 days on used parts. They wanted to send me the same junk again. I wanted a refund. I wouldn't buy from here again.
I waited two weeks for a part order they canceled and never told anyone about. No phone number for customer service just emails with generic responses.
Bought struts and shocks for my 2010 4x4. I had the parts on for 2 weeks. I was installing a back up camera and noticed one of the new shocks leaking. I e mailed the company several times about the problem. There reply was I ordered parts for a 2wd truck. Iam a certified tech. I think I know the difference between 2wd and 4wd. They wont do anything to make it right. Horrible business practices with this place. Would not recommend this company at all
AM Autoparts is a cut above the rest. My experience is if something isn't right, they'll do whatever it takes to right it. I'll continue to get my parts through them, and know that they've got me covered
After contacting them several times, they finally reached back out to me months later down the road.
They are going to return the amount for the parts I ordered ($87.99 - Free shipping) but they will not refund the $63.20 that I had to pay to return the parts by mail. So I will only get $24.79 back and I'm walking away with NO PARTS. Now I'm just out $63.20. Absolutely ridiculous. They even said they are making an exception by returning the money for the part because it is past 60 days... that's not my fault that they took so long to get back to me. I had to reach out several times before getting an email response. I will never purchase any parts from them again.
I even ordered the parts from their website where you put in the exact year, make and model of your vehicle and they tell you what fits your car. It's not like I ordered them from Amazon and I was just taking a wild guess.
Bought O2 sensors... installed and recieved a new diagnostic code stating that the air/fuel ratio was too rich... they tried to tell me that their tech team said that the O2 sensors are working if that message is being sent and that I should take my car to a mechanic. Looking on internet come to find a 38yr mechanic that said my new diagnostic code is solved 99% of the time by replacing the O2 sensors. In other words, their product is garbage or my car is the 1% which has a deeper issue. I let them know I would be contacting paypal, then my bank if paypal doesnt step up and get refund. Their website states that AM Autoparts does not give refunds on electronics (which O2 sensor falls under). I got the refund.
Every email I received was from a different person... the hours of response were at 2am, when the hours listed on those emails said 8am-5pm is normal business hours. Something aint right with this company. Spend extra money for peace of mind and go elsewhere. I even left review on their website. They wont post it. LoL
I ordered a full brake kit. All 4 rotors, and 2 sets of pads for our 2000 Ford Excursion. I couldn't be happier with the price, and quality of the parts, which seem to be OE quality, or better. Parts arrived faster then "expected delivery date." The Brake pads even came with the retaining clips, and the grease for the backing plates of the brake pads.
I also ordered the front Sway bar end links to FINALLY rectify the "hollow" thumping sound in the front end when going over bumps. (Notorious in Ford Excursions, and Ford Super Duty 250, and 350s.)
Even though I ordered the end links 24 hours AFTER the brake kit, (separate order number, and delivery date) BOTH orders arrived a day before the expected delivery date of the first order
Paid 23 extra bucks to get my part delivered in 2. Day. Yet, it wont be here until day 4. Then, refuse to issue a refund. Yet, the parts I ordered off Amazon after I ordered from them got to me for free in 2 day. After I emailed them they tell me we do not deliver on Saturday. Well don't you think that should of been disclosed before I spend 23 dollars. When I could of got free delivery and got it that quick. If u need a part quick go elsewhere.
Good item at a cheaper price and delivered the next morning with no problem. I was worried at first after reading reviews but it all went very good and I will return.
Ordered part from this company and paid for 2nd day shipping. Took 4 days after shipping to get part. Will not respond to attempts to get 2nd day shipping back. Will not order from them again.
