Wrong sizes, poor quality. Won't give the money you payed for the product back, payed with visa then they tell me they can't refund it. I have been told to reorder product and they would give me discount or they will send me the product for free. Then I find out they charge my credit card. I have placed over 100 orders from AliExpress stores in the past 3 years. Thinking back I am amazed that I still keep going back for punishment.
I understand that AliExpress is made of thousands of sellers. I have had bad experiences with many sellers and AliExpress itself. Here are some:
- Paid extra for express shipping, but a mistake added several days to the delivery.
- Ordered from 2 separate shops a few hours apart, They turned out to be friends and held my first order to wait for the 2nd order so they could save a few bucks even though I had paid for express delivery for both.
- I received an obviously used product. Later they admitted it was a store demo model.
- Had an LED light smoke and start melting. They asked for a photo. I sent one. Then they asked for a video. I asked why and got a refund by threatening to leave a 1-star review.
- Description of an LED light said it had a switch. The one I got did not.
- I get spam email or messages months after buying from a shop.
- Tricked me into signing up for AliPay, which means they keep my credit card. I tried to quit and get this message."I am sorry to inform you that currently Alipay Accounts cannot be cancelled yet."
Very minor, but worth mentioning:
- If you block scripts can be hard to log into the website.
- You are expected to log in and click "Confirm Goods Received".
It is always the same. They promise you a discount on the next order or offer to fix things if you give a good review.
The last straw came recently. One store sent me the following message:
"Please leave us 5 stars feedback to get $2 no limit coupon from our store."
I left a 1-star review.
ZERO STARS!
The shipping time was great... however - DO NOT BUY THIS HAIR, I did not have excellent service or hair. The hair was matted and tangles very easy. Sheds a lot! Terrible hair! The supplier called me at least a DOZEN times to revise my feedback from 3 stars to 5 stars. Not sure why I gave it 3 stars in the first place. The supplier agreed to refund me half my money if I report 5 stars and did not refund me. So, please be aware that I did not write "Excellent" in the comments.
DO NOT BUY THIS HAIR, but if you do be sure to put 5 stars or you will get harassed!
I have only ever used AliExpress to buy very cheap items (stationery, costume jewellery, lunch boxes), and I have had reasonably good experience with all of them. Although all the items may be plastic-y, given the prices they are still much better than expected. I would only recommend buying things on AliExpress that you would normally buy at bargain stores ~ electronics, coats and big-ticket items almost always necessitate going into a store.
TWT BOUTIQUE CLOTHING IS A SCAMMER!
I bough three T-shirt from this seller and after three months I never received it. I asked the seller why this long I have never receive the items I bough. The seller was polite and kept telling me that the items are in transit and i have to wait a little bit more. I got tired of waiting and I decided to open a dispute. Aliexpress rejected my dispute then I decided to gave a feedback about how the seller scammed me. Then this seller got back to me and ask me to modified the feedback so that they will help me. I modified it and I asked for a refund then then seller changed the story and told me that I have received the Items already and I should stop lying!
I have ordered many, many, items and have never been disappointed. I have ordered items from bras, phone cases, to panties, chargers, etc. I have never been disappointed by an item. I LOVE Ali.
Bought a Jersey... They shipped the wrong size. Shipment took weeks

I have been member of alibaba and aliexpress since 2008 and over 84 transactions, I only had 3 disputes, all won. I understand why people are angry, but you have to choose your seller carefully, you need to chat with him too. I made some very good deal, for myself but also for resell.
Ordered cloths from AliExpress. Never got the cloths or my money back. Don't waste your time or your money on this site!
I have ordered seeds. They would show pictures on some sites of the right seeds. But they didn't send those seeds. I do not know what they sent. If you are a serious gardner do not buy from them. I will buy from EBAY. Except their stores from China will not.

After a closed dispute where I lost shipping and everything else I took it as a lost with Ali. Months later I get an email from Daisy stating that they needed my bank info swift number pic ID so they 1 time refund me my money. I don't know what kind of scam there running but I'm no fool they already have any info they need to "refund" my money. Watch out with people there in our pockets big time and we're to lazy to spend a few xtra dollars so we pay the price for it!
I ordered Apple charger through AliExpress and have received it. It worked for about one week. Further attempts to get either replacement or money have been ignored. Fortunately, I only lost 15 USD but am sure I will never order anything via internet from China.
Item shipped was not the item that I ordered. The seller wasn't willing to make it right unless I purchased something else from her site.
I know, lots of people like to make a bargain. But very often the bargain is just " you get what you payed ". Exact this expirienses you can get at Aliexpress. But this is not the hole truth.
Of cause you can make a bargain at Aliexpress you only need to know how and where. I'm shopping at Aliexpress since about 4 years and I really payed a lot of dues.
Aliexpress developed in a good way, so if you are a serious buyer the chances to get a full refund at Ali is quite good.
My advice is: read the product prescription very carefully.
Ask the seller all your questions about the product.
Sometimes the seller doesn't answer all questions, then you have to be stubborn, till you get all information.
If the seller beats around the bush, do not trust him
Only buy at seller which try hard to give you all details about the product.
Look at the sellers rating, there are trusted shops, mostly very safe.
Ask for real pictures.
It is up to you how safe your shopping will get.

I ordered clothing from this site not realizing that it was chinese based. All sizes are way too small. I ordered an XL it was not even equivalent to an american size small. I asked for a refund they said no and I had to go through a lengthy process and after being persistent they only refunded me $10. It was a joke, it is not where we need to be shopping. Do some research merchandise is cheap and there are no returns.
I order jacket, used sellers sizing guide. It was 2-3 sizes too small. The dispute process is a joke, all favours seller or alliexpress, no guarantee, DO NOT SHOP HERE THEY WILL STEAL UR MONEY
I placed an order and never received it. They wanted proof from my Post Office, the Post Office could not track the item and the tracking number was useless. The Better Business Bureau gave this company an "F". Research this company before placing an order, the reviews and amount of complaints may change your mind. Be prepared to be out your money.
Answer: No customer service. Some sellers are dishonest. No way to recoup your money for items never sent. Bogus tracking information since no custom number unavailable. Sellers asking for your your PayPal account to make a refund when they are suppose tp use Alipay. Clean up dishonest sellers like co-co fashion store. I have ordered tother items thru Aliexpress without a problem but you should get rid of the bad ones. I am reluctant to use Aliexpress again after this bad experience.
