I ordered jogging shoes which were local Chinese brand with a name Socone. Before buying, I choose seller who had good rating and good review (actually at that moment seller had no bad reviews, not even one). Shoes came in undamaged package. But shoes were defective. One of the shoes were different size than the other, even though both of the shoes had same size number label on them. Stitches were asymmetrical. Overall decorative stitches were very diffrent from one another. Right shoe sole was glued under different angle, when I put them on I can feel that right foot is standing under different angle than the left foot. If I go jogging with them, I would fall. I opened dispute in aliexpress at the same day I received packaging. Seller openly admitted in my dispute that shoes are defective and asked me to change dispute theme from "defective product" to "personal issue" and only then he would give me partial refund (but he did not say how much he would pay me back). I told to seller than I am not going to wear those shoes and that he sent me those defective shoes deliberately and I want my money back. After what he only offered me 10 dollars in aliexpress dispute system and stopped responding to my messages.
Shoes costed 30 dollars. Moral of my story is this: Aliexpress doesnt protect buyer from scamming seller: My advice is: Dont buy clothes from aliexpress and dont believe those aliexpress haul videos on youtube. I lost 20 dollars for buying shoes I cannot wear. I will trow them away, because sending back to china would cost me more that those shoes cost and seller knows that. And those shoes were on sale btw. Right now same seller sells them for 40 dollars. I have print screen of sellers page. Theres no information saying that shoes are defective.
Bought a 3d wall mural. Paid 50 quid for it... it came and it was cheap printed paper. Customer service a total nightmare. They didnt make it clear what had to be done regarding dispute so went in the sellers favor. Got my bank to step in who refunded me and ive since deleted the app and wouldnt touch it with a barge pole. All cheap tat from China
I have been buying from aliexpress for many years and have been well satisfied with their clothes but you must be careful about the size difference between American Asian sizes. Asian sizes are one and sometimes two sizes smaller than American sizes.
The worst, KEEP AWAY! I ordered 2 pairs of slippers and got only one pair but paid for 2 pair. Contacted them but no response. Save your money

I bought a phone from xiaomi the phone had many problems I had to pay custom fees on it a thing they never informed me about. I had to pay return fees from my pocket so I had to keep the phone with me it is not working welll. I contact the customer service of alie express they are son nice talking but they do nothing. They say we will help you you will not loose your money sure we had a such case and the client got a refund all of that is just a drogue to calme the customers nothing change at the end I lost my money the money of the bad phone the custom fees and my time cause i talked to 10 people from aliexpresse they are like roboots the talk nice bu fix nothing a real bad experience with these people my advise look for another website better. Great site and almost too easy to use. But there are a few things to look out for.
- Check the reviews of the product and the shop.
- Check your size, NOT M, L, XL, XXL. Check the actual measurements stated. And expect not strectch.
- Check for a lower priced product, what it shows is not always the cheapest. But balance that out with reviews, and delivery times as said in the reviews.
- Contact the shop whenever an order as late and getting close to dispute.
- Track your order and always go straight to dispute when delivery time is up.
- Dont cancel your dispute until you get an answer from Ali-express. Not the shop.
- Go for the refund, not the send it again, as you may not get sent it again, and have to wait just as long twice. Get the refund and order from another shop if you must have it.
- Dont order anything that you might have to order unless you are very confident on receiving the order in good condition. (through reading previous orders)
- Dont order USB drives. They are either seconds, or at best, hit n miss. And who wants to return a usb drive?
- Anything with a battery, be careful. They put in cheaper batteries, that dont work, are not as good and dont last as long.
These are just what I have encountered in general. Not overall. But buyer be-ware with the areas I have mentioned. If its too good a deal, then there is probably a reason.
They are basically stealling from you. Most of what they sell doesn't work and they won't refund you. I can't stress enough do not deal with these charlatans.
Do not buy from this company you will be sorry. I bought a no of items over night hackers have taken my credit card details and where I live etc. They dont use PayPal. Aliexpress therefore lost all details of my pending orders and previous purchases and it took 3 consultants 3 seperate logins as they kept conveniently timing out avoiding the truth. It was a very frustrating and stressful hour before an honest representative told me I had been hacked. May not see the multiple purchases I made at all. The company made me delete my account totally to avoid further purchases on my now stolen credit card details. Dont hold much hope in seeing purchased items in the post. Had to cancel card not worth it you may loose too.

After a few week, the item has not arrived yet. I logged into AliExpress. It says "Shipment cancelled by seller". I sent 2 messages to the seller. No response. This is the second bad experience out of my three purchases on this web site. I will never buy anything on AliExpress.
I ASKED THEM TO CANCEL AN ITEM EXACTLY AFTER MY PURCHASE AND THEY SAID THAT IS WAS SHIPPED! WHO ARE THEY SUPERMAN! AVOID!
Tried to buy a battery from them and it was faulty and did not work. (Would no charge)
I disputed the item after I retrieved the item for a refund and the buyer did not accept, so Aliexpress stepped in to say I could get a refund if I return the item. Except, I contacted the courier delivery agent and they said Lithium battery delivery into China from external sites are prohibited.
So I contacted Aliexpress like 4 times and they will say something like "We understand your situation and will help you fix it in no time!" and "We will put your issue as top priority! Do not worry!" so you will rate their customer service highly.
For a month they will try and bargain with you saying like "Oh, make sure you put the battery in properly. Charge it for 12 hours" and then you tell them "IT DOESN'T CHARGE? Do you NOT understand? I sent a video in my dispute".
Then they will wait like 5 days and then say "Please send video evidence and picture of the item" and repeat this process a few more times then eventually stop responding at all.
If you plan to buy anything there, anything that you want a refund for will probably never be refunded (Even with solid evidence). So if it is broken, then you will lose your money.

This is my 16th purchase from AliExpress and 13 of those purchases (which were charms, bracelets, necklace) were good; however, I purchased some shoes and this last time around I noticed that the seller did not ship. I contacted AliExpress and was told that there was nothing they could do. I requested to cancel the order twice and twice the seller rejected my cancellation. I wrote to the seller and said it's been ten days, why haven't my shoes been shipped? Seller wrote back to me saying the factory is busy. I thought to myself then why are you selling these shoes? After my second request to cancel (and the seller denying it again) AliExpress told me if the seller did not show it was shipped within 18 hours I would get my money back. Low and behold seller claims the order was shipped; however the tracking number shows nothing. I contacted paypal (because I paid through my debit Paypal card) and Paypal said there was nothing they could do, because the order shows completed. If it did not show completed, then Paypal could have put a stop on the payment.
Since I noticed the lack of buyer protection in spite of AliExpress claiming you are covered from start to finish with buyer protection, I have to rethink my purchases in the future. If I purchased through eBay I would be covered, but it does not look like AliExpress customer service is helpful.
I specifically told the seller to cancel and I did not want these shoes because I purchased another, but seller ignored my requests.
Now, if the shoes come in and they are not as described, Paypal said they could help; however, I would have to ship them back (which would cost more then what the shoes are worth). My advice is to be cautious about large purchases through AliExpress, because of the lack of buyer protection. My future purchases will be limited.

There are a lot on neat items coming out of China that are simply not available anywhere else. I have had some success with AliExpress and its vendor but I have also lost items and money. One problem is the 30-50 day delivery period. One item ordered recently did not arrive in the specified period but a week before arrival I was asked by AliExpress if the item arrived and was I satisfied. When I said no item yet they replied give it another couple days. Of course the item did not arrive and when I went to apply for a refund I discovered the order was now closed and there was no way to get the refund - $40 lost. Another problem is same manufacturer, same model number but a different item. Recently I purchase a DPC-18 ebike display from Bafang. The version described on the various web reviews worked with my BBS-02 controller and supported the 9 levels of assist; however, the DPC-18 version I received from Bafang can only support 5 levels of assist. I contacted Bafang directly, no response - $142 lost. So my track record with AliExpress is $500 of successful purchases with about $200 of losses. Buyer beware!
We placed 5 orders and none of them waz delivered. Buy tracking my orders it shows delivered. Opened a dispute and surprisengly they are asking me to provide a proof of not receiving the orders. I sent them show me anything that i have signed to prove i received the items but they closed my ticked saying dispute rejected!
My sincere advise is never pay this company or any unknown sites unless they deliver first.
Do not order from these people. They do not deliver products, you wait and wait, and they still take your money. I have been dealing with a refund for over 3 months. I will never order from these people again. Buyer BEWARE!

4. They then refuse to sign for it when it arrives and it is sent back to me
5. In this whole time they have dragged it out enough for the seller protection and dispute to expire.
6. I contact aliexpress, as expired the site wont connect you to a real person
7. Their email bounces back as the mailbox if full (probably complaints)
8. I manage to eventually speak to someone on twitter after leaving endless comments
9. Twitter agent tells me its basically all my fault for not opening a dispute in time.
10. I try to explain when the matter because a dispute the site would not let me
11. They tell me rubbish and apparently I should have somehow looked into the future and saw the seller would do this scam and opened a dispute before.
Its absolutely Ludacris and they lie, on twitter I have even had the agent deny they said anything when I have the reply less than 5 message before, I screenshot it and they still deny saying it. You should not buy anything more than 1 dollar, because there is a good chance it will be broken, or you wont receive, and customer service are stupid and don't do anything at all; just loose time

Sellers asking for your your PayPal account to make a refund when they are suppose tp use Alipay. Clean up dishonest sellers like co-co fashion store. I have ordered tother items thru Aliexpress without a problem but you should get rid of the bad ones. I am reluctant to use Aliexpress again after this bad experience.

Answer: I purchased 3 pair of van's brand shoes via different companies on aliexppress and all were true to size. The off brands are not, so you need larger than you wear. But, ask and ali will usually provide a size comparison chart for you to use.
