Very easy to find the books and select them. I was happy to find what I wanted.

They had the text book I needed for a class. The price was reasonable. The book showed up on the first day of class.

I was very happy to receive the book at the price I paid. There was confusing communication around the shipping. I was given a tracking number and USPS said the item never entered their system. When the book did not arrive in the expected time, I reached out to customer service. They said they wait until the item is close to your town and the email with my tracking number mysteriously disappeared. The day the book arrived, an email with a tracking number showed back up.

I needed this book as a gift. It was safely delivered on good time.

I contacted the seller right after I made the purchase that I SHOULD be getting it within the window - but that I would love to get it at the earlier side of that window for an event if at all possible. Never heard back, and wound up getting it, AFTER the window / late / after the event

Expedite delivery, easy to find and pay for the book I needed

No tracking number given so no way to track your package. I waited over a month to receive my order when FAQs say max 14 days. No customer Service agent to talk to so email only was frustrating. Only told to wait some more…when I did get a response.
Product I received was in better condition than I thought so that was a welcomed surprise. The price was still exorbitant in my opinion.

Efficient. Easy to find what I was looking for, easy to order, given my saved account settings, easy to use PayPal.

First I ordered all my books from 2 HPB locations thinking they'd pack them all up at those TWO locations because it would save on shipping and I'd get my books faster. WRONG. My books came from half dozen or more different locations all over the midwest, from IL to TX to OH. All my books were ordered from 2 HPB locations in TX. I paid as much in shipping as I did for the books because of this. $4.74 book, $5+ for shipping that ONE book. Wasteful! And you ship in plastic sleeve mailers which are horrible for the environment compared to a cardboard box.

Then there's the VERY loosely use term "Very Good". One book's cover and first few pages had clearly been chew on by a pet/small animal, I'm guessing cat since I have had them before and this has happened to me, but the book arrived like this. Another book has a horribly bent up cover on both corners that also affects several of the first pages. That's compared to other "Very Good" books that arrived pristine and had e wondering if they'd ever been cracked open.

Won't be using this service again. Too expensive and unpredictable results.

It is easy to find the books I want and to make a choice between vendors. The books I have ordered have always exceeded my expectations for a used book. Alibris is a great resource!

This site has a great search and it's easy to find books and order quickly.

Will likely purchase more books through Alibris in the near future.
