Good. I like the confirmation email inquiry because this book was sent to a family member. And while I get notified the book was delivered -- it does not necessarily mean it was delivered to the right place. (I am not sure if an earlier book I sent to a different family member was ever received by him... even though I did get a notification that the book was delivered. Oh, well.) Sorry for the delay. I was away. And it also took some time for this family member to confirm she got the book. Yes, I enjoy buying books through Alibris. Thank you.

It took over a month from the time I ordered the book for it to show up in my mailbox. For some uncertain reason, it went from the UK to Canada via the USA. I don't understand this routing, and think it could have been more efficient, not to mention cost-effective, if it had come directly to Canada. Having said that, I'm glad to get the book, no matter that it took a month, as this book isn't published in North America. Considering that it's book 9 of a very popular series, I don't understand why the publisher refuses to release it over here. It's bigger in dimension than my other mass market paperbacks, and smaller than the hardback and paperback editions, so it doesn't match the other 8 that I have. But as beggars can't be choosers, I thank you for the book, and I'm sure I'll enjoy it very much.
