Someone needs to fix the webpage for the Duran Duran (1981) CD. When you select the recommended iteration of this item for $3.99 (top of the page), your choice will stay true until you begin the payment entries, after that the item you are purchasing switches to HPB's Duran Duran-New Moon on Monday-New Moon on Monday / Tiger Tiger-Capitol Records-B-5309-Canada-Nm / N, which is a totally different Duran Duran offering on 7" vinyl, though at the same price as the other on CD. I recently received the latter when I ordered the former and thought it was my mistake, but upon trying to reorder the correct item, I see the functionality of the webpage was actually the culprit, as I almost accidently reordered the same incorrect item again! And would have, had I not noticed the item title switch. Subsequently, I had to select one of the other vendors (not HPB, a. K. a. Half Price Books) offering the CD at a higher price, to ensure the item still displayed as 'Duran Duran (1981) Duran Duran CD' when I completed the purchase. I'm still not entirely sure the correct item will be shipped but we'll see.

Easy to find books, offers a variety of conditions and prices, also I can choose a bookseller closer to me geographically to reduce fossil fuel use.

I have been buying from Alibris for decades. Anything I find on bookfinder.com, I usually buy through Alibris. Thank you for a very consistent experience over the years.

Alibris isn't competitive due to shipping costs. Even when 2 items are bought from the same store, the shipping cost is the same. That lowers incentive.

Find a way to streamline and lower shipping costs.

This buisness allowed me to purchase a textbook for way less than I would have through other Comapanines. It also allowed me to find an edition of a book that was out of stock/harder to find in most cases. I appreciated the fact that ther were considerate abour the cost. I wish that the button for choosing shipping options was made clearer. I felt that I was not given the opportunity to choose for myself. I was not provided with a clear estimate of arrival, and there was no tracking number provided. I and to click 2-3 other links to find the wheabouta of my package through another site.

Found site a bit cumbersome and oddly difficult to navigate. However, that said, I will remain an occasional user based on multiple offers of availability and conditions.

It would be nice if there was a way to list 2-3 books and see if any bookseller has all of them in stock, to save on combined shipping.
