It used to be so user friendly to order, find books, change addresses. Now you have to jump through too many hoops. Not fun and the shipping is still ridiculous. More for shipping than my books. And it is Media Rate... cheapest the post office offers.
I keep saying the same thing. The shipping is ridiculous. They are sending it media rate... cheapest way possible. My purchase just cost 3 times more than my purchase. As for asking for a coupon... I have been buying and recommending Alibris for years. I have NEVER seen a coupon anywhere.
Major credit card issues! No transparency, system flips & mixes shipping and billig addresses, difficult to recognize, system ignores some credit cards, accepts others when using a wrong address. = no good experience

I ordered ten books from Albris on the 6th and 7th of March 2026. Eight of the books arrived in a reasonably timely manner. Two of the books were advertised and sold as hardcovers. Two paperback versions arrived which were mass market copies. One of the vendors, when contacted, said he did not have a copy of the book that fulfilled the order. So, it appears the seller never had the book as advertised and was dishonest enough to try to pass off a copy worth maybe 10 percent of the ordered book
