I love alibris books... Great selection... Fair price... Good descriptions... Prompt processing

Shopping at Alibris is always a good experience. The prices are, at best, the lowest, and at worst, consistently competitive with other sites on the web. They also have a very large marketplace to choose from. Alibris is the first place I go when shopping for books.

Great service. Wish shipping per book was shown prior to checkout so can easier evaluate purchase total price.

I'd like to compliment Alibris on the ease of finding books through the advanced search features—the only trouble I've had with it is that the form does not handle certain letters well, such as accented vowels, making it difficult to search for many non-English books.

Website is easy to use and easy to navigate. It's helpful when looking for older editions of textbooks.

Quick and easy with a huge selection of hard to find books

Ridiculously high shipping prices particularly for multiples from the same store, I bought 2 books instead of 18 because of this. I don't like using amazon but you guys have convinced me otherwise.

-5 score. Ignore the "good reviews" this joint is a scam. They must spend all their time writing fake good reviews. Ihave no book. Attempting to find out why is a joke! You can't reach anyone except by completing their form. You email it and get a response saying they got it, will respond in 48 hours, don't send another one because it will delay your response (first red flag). The site says you can't reach a live person because they want to keep cost low (read, so the scammer can not be held accountable) the initially looking "helpful" site says to contact the seller if you are wondering where the book is. So, I do send in their prefab form of inquiry, this time, to the seller. The seller also can not be reached in person but at least they respond and tell me to contact Alibris! This outfit needs to be out of business. They are fraudulent. I have asked for my money back and will contact VISA
