I have ordered 4 mainframe books, all in very good condition with the delivery to Europe. Alibris is collecting the books from different sellers from USA and sends all books in one parcel which is good idea. Delivery time is fast. Of course you have to pay for shipment but comparing the prices of the books with other sellers and some discounts you receive the overall order experience is perfect.

I found The Blue Faeince Hippopotamus and was pleased to have a copy to go with the blue fabric hippo emroidered like the illustration that my mother made for a story time I did years ago at The McCurdy Historical Doll Museum in Provo, Utah. Now I can tell the story to the neighbor children.

The first time, I got 3 erotic fiction books (3-5 in a series!) instead of my order and had to go back and forth to get them to finally pay to take the books back and then I had to reorder what I wanted. Now, a POD book I ordered (print on demand, meaning they print and bind and then ship as new) was half cut-off porn text and they refused to send me a paid return shipping label, saying I would have to pay to return the book and then get $5 credit on their site, meaning I'd have to do business with them again AND all the work to go to the post office etc, etc. Nope. Not worth my time. I am no longer buying from them. Instead, I'm going to post photos or video of the book I received to any review site that will accept them.
DO NOT VIEW the text images up close unless you are fine getting explicit sex. The book I ordered was "John Couch Adams and the discovery of Neptune" from Cambridge Uni Press.

Update: Company has refunded the purchase and says they are looking into the matter.

It was easy to find the book I wanted and in my preferred condition. Placing the order a was support simple.

I am mildly disappointed that the front of the dust jacket on the book that I purchased is messed up with scribbling and writing IN INK by a former owner. Although this is not truly the fault of the seller, I was disappointed by this defect. Fortunately, the book itself is intact and readable.
Delivery was VERY QUICK! Like a postal miracle: I ordered the book on a Sunday and it was in my mail box only a few days later (all the way to Alaska!). Credit to the seller's punctuality and efficiency!
