I blindly bought a book from here for like $7 including shipping cost and thought it was a sketchy website because of the price. But everything went well and I will say it was a used book its cover is not perfect but overall the book was taken care of no scribbles or torn pages so I'm happy overall
I was searching for a book to complete a series published from 1995-2003. Alibris had the book needed at a fair and reasonable price. Having never used this company before, I was pleasantly surprised to to see the book arrive in a few days in good condition. I'll check here first in the future
Alibris always has hood merchandise and great prices. They are prompt with emails and shipping.
It was confusing because it said to add another 8.62 to my cart to get free shipping so I searched for a book that was eligible which took a while then it still was charging me for shipping. So I removed that book and the shipping price dropped to $7 and some change, which I was okay with. Then I went to check out and after I put in the credit card it upped the shipping cost to $12 and some change, and added tax. So the whole amount was more than what it quoted.
I did like that the prices were quoted in Canadian dollars and that you could pay in Canadian dollars other than US, or there would have been even more charges from the credit card company. This in itself makes it worth shopping at this book store over others in the US.
I'm suspecting that the free shipping is just for the US, so it should have indicated this.
