Exactly the same as everyone else. Tried scamming more money from me then said they can't process the flight if I dont give it them so they can add luggage for over £100 more bringing it to £678 from £570 so I looked on the website directly and it was only £633 including cabin and checked luggage and you can't actually get a flight that doesn't already include baggage with them as it is automatically included in their price yet Airwaay claimed I couldn't book a flight unless I add more baggage! They are claiming they will refund me within 21 days but I definitely do not believe that for 1 second. They was so unprofessional and I caught them out on so many lies and when I'd mention them the phone would go dead. I mainly dealt with an Indian man apparently called Shaun 😂😂 I just assumed that because it was through cheap flights. co.uk and you could use Apple Pay and google pay on their website etc it much be legitimate but my god I was so wrong. These people are clearly scammers and I can't stress this enough please please do not use this company

Wish I could give these crooks zero stars. Booked two business class tickets from Birmingham to Manila. Paid for in full through their website. £4933
After 24 hours the tickets hadn't arrived. Had to call them
I Was told by Ralph that the price had gone up by another £800. They expected me to pay another £800 on top of the five grand I've already paid!. Scammers - avoid it all costs. I'm still waiting for the refund. They told me I'd have to wait four or five weeks for the refund. Thankfully I paid with credit card so I've got protection. I've had to open a dispute with the credit card company. These scammers are disgusting. Bait and switch. I've reported them to trading standards in Hounslow. Filed a case with the citizens advice bureau

Today. Sept 6th I had a call from a lady called Sarah saying I may get my refund in 15 days. Why should I wait 15 days for a refund. They took my money in a few minutes for tickets they couldn't supply.

Also worth noting that they are still selling tickets for this particular flight via Cheapflights.co.uk at the price that I paid, despite telling me I had to pay more than 800 pounds more. It's obvious they are scammers. Suckering customers into buying tickets at a good price only to then call the customer and pressure them into paying more money. Some people will pay it and that's what these scammers rely on. It's borderline fraud. I hope trading standards intervene. I have reported these scammers

Please please don't buy tickets from this company. You WILL be sorry. And you will have to file a claim with your credit card company to get your money back.
And never pay with a debit card. Or you will be even sorrier

They can and should issue a refund immediately if they're unable to provide the goods and services that they have been paid for. Nobody should have to wait two weeks or three weeks

The fact still stands. They are advertising flights at a price, and then trying to extort further payment from customers in order to secure the tickets that the customer has already paid for. This is a fact. Indisputable. And if you doubt me, just google this company and check all the other reviews. I'm certainly not alone. It is common practice for them to do this

It is true that I've had to do a chargeback. Because I don't think it is fair that I should wait three or four weeks for a refund for something that I am not responsible for. These people took my money on false pretences.

And I would like to reiterate. This company is still offering the same flights that I booked, at the same low price that they offered me. If you book the flight at the price they advertise you will then get a call asking you for more money. You have been warned.

Oh, and also worth noting. The flights do not cost £7500. They were not offering me a fantastic deal by charging me £800 more than I'd already paid. I've booked the same flights through booking.com And paid just £80 more than the amount given to these people. And I received the tickets in less than one hour!

So my review still stands. Everything is demonstrably true. And if you don't believe me just Google this company's name and take the time to read all of the other reviews by the other customers that are getting the same shoddy treatment that I received.

As you can see, they're not going to give me my refund. They're waiting for the charge back to be processed. Any decent company would just refund the money immediately. And as anybody knows, refunds are processed within a few days and money usually goes back to the bank or credit card company within a few days. Not three weeks or four weeks as this company claims. That's just demonstrably untrue as anybody that use a credit card or debit card will know

Also like to add that I've never said a bad word about anybody ever in the past. I've booked dozens of flights to the Philippines. I've flown with Etihad 14 times to the Philippines. And not once had this problem.

I'll rethink this review and amend accordingly if you, Airwaays, sort the refund. Do it immediately. And email me to confirm it's done.
And then I will expect the money to land back on my credit card account by Tuesday of this coming week. You can do this. The credit card company have told me you can do this. There is no obligation on your part to wait for the charge back. You can go ahead and do the right thing. Refund the money that you took from me under false pretences. Once that money is back in my account, I'll look at this again and Revise accordingly

Do the refund. Sort it out immediately. How would you feel if this was happening to you or a member of your family?

Like other reviews I've read,this company are not trustworthy! Stay away from them.
They reel you in with a fair price, then you pay that flight ticket, then 2 days later they got me to pay another £185 on top of the original fare blaming the airline.
To add insult to injury, was lied to about this new ticket price having certain perks with it.
Non of it was true, it was the same Economy ticket as before

I WOULD NOT use this travel agent again! I paid the online price, I had a call the next morning advising that my trip home had no basic economy available left and it was £180 for an upgrade to the main cabin - i managed to get Edward the agent down to £130! It then took Airwaay 2 days to pay American Airlines for my flights and 5 days to send me my booking!
Only to then realise I was still on Basic economy - so they gained an extra £130 for themselves I assume as my flights were all still basic economy and I was never in the main cabin!
Edward has 0 customer service skills - he was extremely abrupt when I questioned him.
I am a frequent flyer to the US and never have I ever had service from a travel agency like this and I would definitely NOT recommend them! I will not be using them going forward - the cheapest price Online isn't always what it seems 😔

I bought a ticket with them worth of £1200 London-Singapore. Took the money straight away from my bank account and never send the official tickets on my email (I thought maybe it's taking few hours and I wanted). After 2h after I purchased them, at 10PM, I got 2 calls from a consultant from Airwaay and an email to call them urgently in regards of my tickets. He told me I have to pay extra £200 in order to confirm my tickets, as I might not be able to return back if I'm not paying, and if I'm not paying straight away the amount might increase day by day. This never happened before and I had the gut that is a scam. I searched online and saw loads of negative review about them. Now I'm trying to get my money back and I reported to the bank. Please AVOID them as they are big SCAMERS and you will pay for something that you will either not get or they will ask to pay extra! Be careful

Seems this is another OTA using the bait and switch scam.
I found biz class fares lhr - bah for £1647 on their website.
I did what i usually do and started an online chat... and low and behold. Fare was not available. It had increased by £400!
The clown was trying to tell me that the fare was £2500 but after their "discount" it was £2057.

Needless to say i didnt book it but i will be looking into this company further. Likely its a 1 man outfit being run from a stinking bedsit in south london.

OTAs who utilise GDS systems such as Amadeus have access to REAL TIME availability therefore what they see is whats available at that moment. This should replicate on their websites. But it dosent and they know it - often reeling you in with fake prices... or Bait & Switch - which is illegal.
These scumbags need putting out of business.

In addition, most of these reviews are fake - especially the ones mentioning staff names... there's only 4 employees in total.

Avoid for your own piece of mind.
