Scammers. They sell you a ticket then don't deliver. Then they call demanding more money

Wish I could give these crooks zero stars. Booked two business class tickets from Birmingham to Manila. Paid for in full through their website. £4933
After 24 hours the tickets hadn't arrived. Had to call them
I Was told by Ralph that the price had gone up by another £800. They expected me to pay another £800 on top of the five grand I've already paid!. Scammers - avoid it all costs. I'm still waiting for the refund. They told me I'd have to wait four or five weeks for the refund. Thankfully I paid with credit card so I've got protection. I've had to open a dispute with the credit card company. These scammers are disgusting. Bait and switch. I've reported them to trading standards in Hounslow. Filed a case with the citizens advice bureau

Today. Sept 6th I had a call from a lady called Sarah saying I may get my refund in 15 days. Why should I wait 15 days for a refund. They took my money in a few minutes for tickets they couldn't supply.

Also worth noting that they are still selling tickets for this particular flight via Cheapflights.co.uk at the price that I paid, despite telling me I had to pay more than 800 pounds more. It's obvious they are scammers. Suckering customers into buying tickets at a good price only to then call the customer and pressure them into paying more money. Some people will pay it and that's what these scammers rely on. It's borderline fraud. I hope trading standards intervene. I have reported these scammers

Please please don't buy tickets from this company. You WILL be sorry. And you will have to file a claim with your credit card company to get your money back.
And never pay with a debit card. Or you will be even sorrier

And furthermore, in response to their reply detailed below……

They can and should issue a refund immediately if they're unable to provide the goods and services that they have been paid for. Nobody should have to wait two weeks or three weeks

The fact still stands. They are advertising flights at a price, and then trying to extort further payment from customers in order to secure the tickets that the customer has already paid for. This is a fact. Indisputable. And if you doubt me, just google this company and check all the other reviews. I'm certainly not alone. It is common practice for them to do this

It is true that I've had to do a chargeback. Because I don't think it is fair that I should wait three or four weeks for a refund for something that I am not responsible for. These people took my money on false pretences.

And I would like to reiterate. This company is still offering the same flights that I booked, at the same low price that they offered me. If you book the flight at the price they advertise you will then get a call asking you for more money. You have been warned.

Oh, and also worth noting. The flights do not cost £7500. They were not offering me a fantastic deal by charging me £800 more than I'd already paid. I've booked the same flights through booking.com And paid just £80 more than the amount given to these people. And I received the tickets in less than one hour!

So my review still stands. Everything is demonstrably true. And if you don't believe me just Google this company's name and take the time to read all of the other reviews by the other customers that are getting the same shoddy treatment that I received.

As you can see, they're not going to give me my refund. They're waiting for the charge back to be processed. Any decent company would just refund the money immediately. And as anybody knows, refunds are processed within a few days and money usually goes back to the bank or credit card company within a few days. Not three weeks or four weeks as this company claims. That's just demonstrably untrue as anybody that use a credit card or debit card will know

Also like to add that I've never said a bad word about anybody ever in the past. I've booked dozens of flights to the Philippines. I've flown with Etihad 14 times to the Philippines. And not once had this problem.

I'll rethink this review and amend accordingly if you, Airwaays, sort the refund. Do it immediately. And email me to confirm it's done.
And then I will expect the money to land back on my credit card account by Tuesday of this coming week. You can do this. The credit card company have told me you can do this. There is no obligation on your part to wait for the charge back. You can go ahead and do the right thing. Refund the money that you took from me under false pretences. Once that money is back in my account, I'll look at this again and Revise accordingly

Do the refund. Sort it out immediately. How would you feel if this was happening to you or a member of your family?

I have an email from Ralph stating refund done 2 days ago, but it's not. CC company confirmed
A delaying tactic? More deceit.
Refund the money and be honest
