I can't say enough about how friendly and compassionate air Canada employees are. I was having a hard time because of a flight that kept getting delayed. I had been at the airport for hours upon hours and was at my wits end. It would be many hours before my next flight, as it kept getting delayed…I got up and happened to see a very nice gentleman who worked for Air Canada…I told him my story and he was more than happy to set me up in a hotel with food and taxi vouchers and book me a flight for the next day for my son and I. Air Canada is very lucky to have such a great employee in JASKARAN SINGH! He was absolutely amazing, compassionate and he sincerely cared about us. Thank you again Jaskaran, I am going to pay it forward for someone else I see in need. Love Air Canada!

This is the most terrible website I have ever come across. They need a whole revamp. You can not do anything on this site. Rated most terrible airline website of the 21 century.
Late. Always late. Unreasonable delays in non-peak hours for reasons that are never clear. Of late, they are the most unreliable option to get you on time for a connection flight. Also, they seem to be unable to help with seat booking or any other problem whenever they are partnering up with a second airline. Overall, a nightmare and always a stressful trip. This is very unfortunate, considering that, about 6-8 years ago, their flights were impeccable and reliable. Hopefully they are able to return their service to the high quality that I used to know.
Flights are consistently delayed by many hrs or cancelled. Crew unavailability is the usual excuse. Staff are leaving this sorry excuse of an airline by the dozens. I hope it bankrupts and ceases to exist asap
Air Canada stranded passenger in Jakarta barring entry en route to Bali when all paperwork was in order & all visas held. Cost extra 1500$ to complete trip. Do not fly with air Canada. Yes it is their fault. Disgusting. Find any other carrier.
Poor jn flight service, a screen that was so dim it was worthless and to top it off after the last 3 hour hop of a 28hr journey we sit kn the tarmac waiting for our gate just crap all arpund
You can't put it past Air Canada and their attendants for the lack of common sense they carry. Here we are sitting on a plane that's half full. The back half of the plane is more or less full, whereas the front half is empty. In asking an attendant if we could move up, they were reluctant too because of the five people up front who paid for premium economy. Now I can understand if the majority of the seats were spoken for and those guests might have an issue, but we're talking about five seats out 60 that are in use. Why on earth would you not allow your guests who are the plane some extra room to stretch out, and just keep everyone happy. They could literally make someone's experience 10x better by allowing this gesture. Those five people up front could careless at this point, they're content and likely wouldn't even notice. I've been on plenty of US carriers who don't bat an eyelash. In fact they encourage it. At the end of the day customer service is customer service and Air Canada is always one to disappoint in this department, sadly.
DO NOT GIVE YOUR PRECIOUS MONEY TO AIR CANADA - this company is an experiment in the outer limits of corporate abuse of those upon whom it depends. Having for no observable reason —no weather issues —no crises political public health or otherwise —been made to wait 14 hours for a simple one hour flight -from Toronto to New York —delayed twice — fighting for a flight that would be only 12 hours delay —got me a customer service lady with a Latin American accent acting the Madonna receiving the crucified Christ from the cross - while her colleagues gave her nurturing looks I was hurting her nerves by shouting —a Supervisor smirking at me and whispering —when I said she should direct her fragilities to her corporate superiors instead of beleaguered customers her hitherto calmer more human seeming colleague had an outburst and threatened to tear up my ticket —simply nauseating— they were in a glass cage —

So much bad news lately regarding air flights... my trip from Vancouver to Edmonton returned went so smoothly... flight almost on time leaving and left right on time returning. I used the wheel chair service for the first time and the staff was wonderful both in Vancouver and Edmonton. My luggage arrived unharmed. Thank you Air Canada.

We Canadians deserve better than this crap... My flight to Atlanta was first cancelled, second flight lack of seats and kicked out and third flight is a rattling old plane (prisoners get transferred in better flights)... Flight from hell...

The worst gut wrenching punch was that. Receiving an email from Air Canada for my claim for compensation and hotel bill for overnight at Pearson is that 'Under the Canadian government guidelines you are not entitled to receive any compensation from us.! Oh really Air Canada...
'As a good will offering $ 100/= credit for next booking'... You got to be kidding... Fly Air Canada again... I should be insane... Ask your CEO to shovel that $ 100/= where he wants...

I saved for 5 years to take my family of 4 on a trip to Italy. A 10 day trip for 16,000 dollars. The entire trip was ruined due to Air Canada losing our luggage. 10 days in Italy, no clothes, essential items, prescription meds, everything in those cases. It has been 3 weeks wince we have returned from the trip and all 3 of our suitcases still have not been returned. I will never fly Air Canada again. I feel like I wasted a large sum of money for a once in a lifetime trip for my family and it was all due to Air Canada. That trip was a nightmare. Air Canada also doesn't even accept calls on their 800 baggage number. I don't know how they are in business to be honest. Avoid them at all costs.
It is horrible experience. The service cannot be worse. The schedule was changed many times. The airplane was canceled and the customer service was horrible and not help at all. They gave our family random seat and let the little kid sit by herself. It was worst for ever
I took an Air Canada flight from London to Toronto on April this year. I noticed the arrogance of flight attendants when they speak to passengers. One passenger who was seated beside me unintentionally touched the arm of the guy/gay attendant while they were serving food. And the Attendant made a big fuss about it and raised his voice on the passenger. I looked away thru the window so as not to cause more embarrassment to the passenger. And by doing that, the Attendant skipped serving me the food. The Flight Attendants that time obviously "lack training".
DELAYS, Lost baggage. No customer service whatsoever, either at the airport, on the phone or on the website. Will cost me many tens of thousands in extra travel expenses, items checked in baggage and lost. Will never deal with this dishonest incompetent unprofessional company again. Save yourself the trouble and AVOID this airline!
Air Canada is consistently unreliable - 2 flights from Toronto YYZ to Philadelphia, PA Aug 2021 and Jun 2022 cancelled and delayed. Not a good experience at all.
Had an awful experience with Air Canada!
A total of 5 hours of delays, no explanations what so ever. Sitting on the runway for another hour, again with no explanation, no customer support, 3-4 hour line up just for some customer service booth. Very little care at all for their customers or their experience.
Answer: It's real company but the service the food Specially when you pay the big moneys for business class Is a disaster and I will not use them and not recommend to use them
