This is the worst online shopping experience I have had and I have used a few! They were always quick to respond when I was putting in the order and kept me informed when they were tailoring. However the shipping was an issue. They used TNT which is not the best. It got stuck at the TNT warehouse for 3weeks and Adoring Dress were not helpful at all! When I contacted them on 2 occasions, 2 different agents gave me names of 2 different shipping companies that were used, not TNT, but always with the same shipping tracking number, which of course I couldn't track because they had given me the wrong shipping companies on these two occasions! I paid for the shipping of the dresses at the time I paid for the dresses, yet had to pay TNT again! I am so angry with Adoring Dress and will not use them again and will not recommend to any of my friends either. Absolutely NO STAR from me.

DO NOT order from adoringdress.com. What seems to be too good to be true is exactly that. I ordered a short dress for my wedding from where I thought was England, received confirmation, and then poof... they went missing in action. I did receive an email that said if you don't reply within 24 hours, the dress won't make the 10-day delivery date, and would instead be six weeks. I saw the message approximately 2 hours past their deadline, replied, and told them I needed it within their promised time frame. [Crickets.] Finally, I got smart and complained to my credit card company and Mastercard returned the money to me. About a month after the complaint to Mastercard, I finally received an email telling me there was "something wrong in our system, so your order is missed." Whatever. I went to a real online store and found a real dress that was sent within a day of ordering, all with free shipping, and it only cost $50 more than the scam I signed up for to begin with. Run... just stay away from them... do not order... spend a few extra bucks and go to a real store. It's not worth the headache.

We ordered a Matric Farewell (Prom) dress from them. The Taxes & delivery cost almost as much as the dress. The dress was too big (I sent measurements but was supplied a standard size dress) The colour was different, the lace wasn't the same, the design was only similar - not the same as advertised. The quality of the fabric is poor. After numerous complaints & sending photos to prove my case I was offered an 8% refund! Thereafter if I try to contact them they merely disconnect! STAY AWAY - these people are fraudsters!

I bought a wedding dress for my daughter when we got it it didnt look nothing near what we ordered. The dress came way to big for a standerd size 2. It looked like a fat womens dress on her. The ribbon on dress was wider and the bow omg it was so big it went from hip to hip and looked like a costume when it was suppose to be a small bow. Then the cost of shipping was twice as much as dress. So i tryed to reture it and they would only give me 80% of what I paid for the dress and I had to pay the shipping cost back to them. In the end i would have paid double just for a small return! All the picures are decieving of what you actually get. Very mad cause now my daughter has no wedding Dress.so actually my ratting for this site is a negative star! I also turned them in to the esomer.com and made a report on how 100% garentee is not 100% its not even 80%. Satifaction

By far the worst place to order bridesmaids dresses or any other dresses from really. I was truly disappointed when I received the two dresses that I ordered. The tops on both are so bulked up with padding that it changes the look of the dresses not to mention that the arm holes are way too small. Instead of looking light and flowy, the dresses are heavy and bulky making you look 10 times heavier. If i could give 0 stars I would. Truly a disappointment.

Ordered a beautiful dress online, even liaised with their customer service personnel but they failed to advise that the additional shipping cost via TNT will cost more that the actual dress costs (tax and duties).
Should adoring dress had been honest and upfront about the fees I would have made better decisions, now I'm frustrated having to pay R 2000 to get the dress here where as on my quotation they only said R505 for shipping which I paid.
Totally inconvenienced. Never and Never again shall I trust this site

I WAS SCARED AT FIRST...

I bought a dress from adoring dress I was scared because of what I heard from people and what I read on reviews. But I am glad I did that because there were positive and negative reviews although no one complained about the quality and oh yes it can still be improved.
I am glad I ordered from Adoring Dresses I do not regret anything I am actually over the moon. The delivery time was as expected and as promised but honestly speaking I prayed for everything to be in order and it all went well. I am from South Africa living in Pretoria AND YES IF YOU HAVE FAITH DO THE SAME buy from Adoring Dress. Thank you... Thank you... I ordered a dress from AdoringDress, the dress was pretty but did not fit properly, I notified them and all they would do was have me send pictures, which I did numerous times, the day of my event was approaching and I still did not have a dress, again I notified them, send pictures again, not once did they say return for a proper size nothing, just send pictures. I had to have a dress so I started looking for a dress while still notifing them, I was forced to purchase another dress and now I have the other as well, I notified them and all they said was there was nothing they could do. I am not happy with their service and will continue to contact them til maybe they can refund me some of what I paid for their dress...

I ordered my wedding dress on May 9th and it was at my door through DHL on May 25th. The dress was protected with a plastic bag so nothing could damage the fabric. They even put the dress inside out as another precaution should something happen. I ordered it as a custom size and it was spot on and fits wonderfully. I will have to have a dry cleaner remove the wrinkles but with the dress being $140 with shipping I am fine with that. The dress quality is great. The built in bra is perfect too. This is definitely a company I will be having the bridesmaids and flower girls get their dresses from.

I ordered a head dress (tiara) from Adoring Dress for my wedding.

The service I received after paying for the head dress was absolutely terrible. When I asked how long it would take to get the item ready for shipping, I had to wait a few days for a reply and when I finally got a reply, they kept replying about the tailoring of the dress I ordered, even though I didn't order a dress.

I finally got a tracking number once the item was shipped and by this time I was extremely nervous about the shipment, since they told me that my dress (once again I didn't order a dress) is on its way.

It arrived a few days early in the country, but was held at Customs for a month. Then TNT asked me for the invoice because the invoice that Adoring Dress gave them was for the incorrect amount and then I had to pay more than the item amount to have it released.

It arrived two days after clearing customs, but as soon as I opened the package, I saw that firstly the item was packaged incorrectly.

Instead of boxing a clearly breakable item (like promised on their website), they took seven pieces of normal printing paper, folded it in half and put that in a DHL packet with the head dress and then they sealed the packaging. Then they put that packet into a TNT packet.

They lie on their website about their packaging. This is what they say on their website:

Secondly, the head dress was broken in four different places.

According to their website:
You can get refund for Defective, Damaged or Mis-shipped Items, Size Deviation & Color Mismatch problems, etc.
You are qualified to get a full refund if your items are defective, damaged or mis-shipped.

This is NOT the case, they refuse to refund anything. They say that if I send the item back at my own cost they will refund me 50% of the item value. So I must spend double the amount of the item again to only get an 8th of the total spent back? That makes no sense.

You can never get hold of them and if and when they reply by email it takes a week before they reply with nonsense answers.

I urge you not to order anything from this company.

I have to agree with many here. I order my dream dress from a website that says they are in Pretoria. I pay for the dress and the postage. Awesome. Dress is shipped within a month great... Then i get a tracking number. Tnt... Hmmm anyway its coming from china... What! No mention anywhere of this. Then stuck in customs for more than a month. Penalty, import duties. A million emails later dress arrives. The dress is made beautifully but the beading is horrible, cheap... Having to replace beading and the dress ends up being 4 times the original price.
