I did not get any assistance from a private therapist that I could not have gotten from Google. In fact, I did better Googling than I did with the therapist. I then tried a chat with a trained listener, who told me he could not read everything I typed - that I typed too much. I cancelled the private therapist on the day of renewal, but was still charged for it. I tried contacting 7 Cups to discuss this charge with them, but it's now been one week (7 full days) and no one has contacted me, even though they promise contact in 2 days (48 hours). I was in a bad way when I decided to go to private therapy and what I received for $300 has made me feel a lot worse rather than better. I couldn't afford the first $150, but felt it was necessary for my mental health. The 2nd $150 was just salt in the wound.

Its an amazing app which saves lives. It saved mine too. Im honestly so grateful that this app exists.

This is a great app, I'm very happy with my experience here, the team always do a great job offering us an amount of lessons to improve, furthemore, is a great place to be listen.

The best app i have ever been on for mental health and support! The listeners are amazing, and they are super patient, and they really give time and space to speak, vent, and whatever you have to talk about

This site is amazing. I first came to this site in a time of need and returned satisfied. There are a lot of courses which helped me to learn professional skills which I really needed in my life as a trainee Psychologist. It helped me improve my listening skills and understand people's perspectives. Mentors and leaders are life savers! They help, support and guide the newbies. All the listeners try their best to listen to the people who come in their hard time. This site is Highly recommended for the people battling from different issues and need people to listen to them and support them.

Having someone trained to lsiten to you and make you feel like youre being listened to makes all the difference, even if they are just talking to you over text messages, it still works. They make me feel like I am wanted to be listened to.

I was googling random things one day and came across 7Cups. I clicked on it thinking it would be some trash website with a whole bunch of pervs that I could report and roast, but it wasn't it was a beautiful formatted website with people 1000X better than the people in my life. Everyone here is kind, considerate, patient, and makes you wanna yell why can't my people be like this. If you have some issues or just want to vent come on here because you won't be disappointed.

This website has got it down. From the online forum space to the listener chat rooms to the therapy, 7 Cups of Tea knows what it says it does and does it. I don't normally see a therapist, but a little boost from the listeners is always welcome. Plus, I had an engaging chat on the forum online.

I can tell this website is for more than profit just by being on it for a few hours. I mean the listeners are actually volunteers. The community is so welcoming, and helpful. If you need a place to go to talk to someone, this is a great choice!

Have been both member and a listener... and honestly i do not know who has it worse really. Members will have to spend time, hours, days to actually find the 2 people out of hundred that are actually good, the site and people there dare to call themselves trained when you would get better advice from 12 years old's rather than them... it is all repeating positive slogans or about their own confusion. At the other hand listeners are banned for the smallest things and i am not joking when saying it... you can do absolutely nothing, just exist, and be banned, you can say "hello" be ghosted and get banned etc, etc... Seriously, better go out and talk with the first teen you see, there is still bigger chance they will help you more than this site would.
There are people that will just want a pathetic sex chat
You will get thrown around as some puppet and admins would not even think of you as a normal human being with values, and pride.
Will have to walk on egg shells around members that do not even know what they want
Even the paid workers sound like robots, or little children that just found out what depression is on internet
Will have to wait and spend hours staring at a screen with the fragile hope of finally finding someone who actually listen and you can only hope others will not make you feel worse among the way

Many interesting people trying to help each other. Some are fun, some are trolls, but most of them are helpful as much as they can. Beware of the Pakistani. And Hindu. The others are okay.

It is a great experience from my side, people can become a listener, here with a little test, but the people arent rude, but veryy kind, i was a member and i did meet many people who were kind and understanding and they listened to me very nicely and patiently. Overall, this helped me even if i might have met a few people who blocked me, but most were kind and nice and helpful so yes, i'd totally recommend it :)

I find this source very helpful for people who are struggling. I have become a listener now, too, and really like it. This site is useful and works very well.
