Not a bad experience... nothing else to say Im writing a book about that so forget it. This is stupid.

I have always had a bad and very difficult experience for all the three times that I have tried Zoosk. It has always been so difficult to unsubscribe when nearing the end of my chosen paid subscription. Zoosk deliberately prevents you from unsubscribing so you'll try to arrange for a refund but they first try to convince you to stay and their responses are never in a timely manner. My last very unfortunate experience was when I signed up through my Facebook account. I paid for a month but the now duplicate account was useless and won't let me receive or send messages and I tried to get a refund but the responses would always take a long time coming and so by the next monthly cycle, another $40 was withdrawn even after I had unsubscribed. Zoosk is Not user friendly and I agree with many reviews that Zoosk is a Scam proficient in only robbing people and hiking their subscriptions up to scheme more money from unsuspecting users. I should have listened to my mates and stayed away. Now I will also help spread the word to stay away from Zoosk.
Of course the site needs a little updating, saying wether you're into someone before you can even peek at their profile is an uncomfortable amount of pressure. Other than that it's okay.
Was a great experience to visit this sight and meet someone zoosk is a great sight!
These don't show up until you try to leave the site. I unsubscribed but they wouldn't take my profile down so I kept receiving messages from men who THOUGHT I was an active member. When I deleted my profile summary and wrote in that I was no longer active, the administrator denied the change! They want paying members to think there's a larger pool than there is.
According to their site information, you can only hide your profile if you merely pause your profile but KEEP paying. Wow, what a scam. You can't respond to anyone to warm them unless you put a profile picture back up! Whaaaa...?
Amazingly unprincipled and a cynical exploitation of people looking to connect.
It does explain why there are so many single photo profiles though. They're trying to get off the site!

Too much garbage. Profiles of people long time gone. For 6 7 years. That makes you spending a lot of time on line searching thru profiles no longer active. These are the majority! Recent on line status doesnt mention how recent. A week, 2 weeks, one month one year ago.
They keep charging even after you cancel. I purchased 1 month subscription canceled it the same day and am still getting charged a month later and can't get anyone to return an email except from a computerized generated email.
Very good experience for dating site. I would use it again. Hope everyone has the same experience. I wish everyone luck in their search. Everyone was nice and pleasant to talk to. Not like other sites where all they are looking for one thing.

I was happy with this site and I would recommend it to my friends. That's all I really want to say. I would like to unsubscribe now but I have to write a review. I am writing my review and my review is that I liked the site and I met someone and now I would like to unsubscribe.
Site is slow and cumbersome, making communicating frustrating at best. I am not convinced that all of the "members" are members. The Carousel sends people from over 50 miles when 50 miles is my entered limit.
Met Tim a few weeks ago. Immediately we started to talk on the phone. While he is 11/2 hours from me the attraction and the things we have in common were enough for us to meet. We are now seeing each other and are hopeful and excited that we have found the one we have been searching for. I cant wait to see what the future has in store for us.

I had 4 charges made to my debit card totaling $175.00 from Zoosk/San Francisco. I had never heard of Zoosk. I get a text every time money comes out of my account. There were 2 texts back to back with charges from Zoosk, one for $99.95. I immediately called my bank. I was advised to "freeze" my card. Before i could do this 2 more charges had been made. My bank closed that account and issued me a new card. I looked up Zoosk to find out who the hell they were. Seems it's some online dating service in San Francisco. I spoke with them as soon as they opened. They tried to give me the run around making it seem like it was my fault someone had used my card information. When I asked about the account used to make charges with my card they wouldn't give me any information. They promised to block the card so it couldn't be used again. So now I have to wait 5-10 business days to have the money put back into my account. The reps at Zoosk said the email address used to create the account looked suspicious, but yet they charged my account anyway. I spoke with 3 different people and got 3 different stories. After reading reviews on several different sites it seems I'm not the only one this has happened to.
I have met a man a good man that I never would have met without Zoosk. What are the chances are paths would have ever crossed. Was able to get to know him thru messaging 1st before we meet. Made it feel like we had know each other for a long time.
Great improvement over past few years, great layout, options, most people are real and genuine. Met a great woman here.
Only negative is the fact that the app continuously shows recent views from the same people, alerts are frequent even though there is no real new activity on your account
I was nervous to try the dating site. But gave it a shot and the rest is a journey in the making. I would highly recommend this site to my simgle friends
