It was ok. I hope I find a job soon for my resume that I purchase
The writer that was assigned to has written a very professional resume that will help me land a job!
Thorough job with resume, thank you letter, cover letter. Responsive to my feedback.
I had a bad experience with my first writer. I ask for a second one. The second one was a hundred percent professional. Did a fabulous job. Whipped up a nice document. Over all I'd say it's money well spent if your not the strongest English major. I think it's $#*!y they try and charge you 50 bucks to talk with the person.
I was contacted right away and worked with Jay. A draft was sent to me in a day. The final by the second day and it was designed just as a wanted.
Poor customer service. Very hard to get in touch with the writer. Poor quality writing. TopResume is 100% better than this rip-off company. Not recommended to anyone!
This was a gift for Carmel Balde. She tells me that she has received the final verbiage. She has been left to format it for LTR (8.5" x 11") and A4 paper herself since it did not come preformatted.
She says that she is satisfied. If she is happy I am happy.
Thank you
Adam did a great job! Wonderful experience. Adam was able to glean all of the finer points of my work history and synthesize them into a well-written final product.
This is the closest I have felt to being internet scammed ever. I paid and sent them my resume. They didnt get back to me as explained in the work timeline, I had to prompt them for the first draft and then never heard from them again, there were many obvious corrections that I flagged and requested feedback several times both to the writer and the company. Never heard from them. Basic things like skill set column were missing entirely. 3 weeks later I managed to speak to someone in their customer service who would absolutely not only NOT help me, but even though I had email trail proof that they never responded to my multiple proding she didn't own up to absolutely anything. Money completely wasted. More important: time completely wasted and needs absolutely not met inn the least.
I attempted to sign up. Entered card info. Got a no go ( yes card is good). Entered different card, also got a no go ( also good acc't) Never got any confirm of purchase, but charged 3 X on two diff act's. Contacted by fraud units from 2 banks. Contacted Zipjob. Promised response next day. Heard nothing. Do not recommend.
The customer representative Mason K, who was assisting me in building my resume, has submitted the final version with grammar errors.
I loved the format and wording used in my resume. I found it to be reflective of the work I do and my acxomplishments.
I had heard plenty of rumors about how good ZibJob was at exceeded expectations over the past year... The rumors are TRUE! Thank you ZibJob for this masterpiece that is my Resume.
I worked with Kathleen and it was a great experience. Quick turn around and very helpful.
It was good. I am happy with my new resume. It looks professional. Also the writer was cooperative which helps a lot and she let me know whenever she finished the resume and asked if I wanted to add more stuff or is it okay.
I really appreciated the experience that was brought to the table by ZipJob, and Christy was a great fit for me, and after we chatted over the phone, she made some recommendations and direction for my resume. I would recommend to anyone, not sure of what you want your resume to reflect; then purchase the phone chat option. I found it was really great to connect and relay what I was trying to achieve with my resume. Well worth the extra few dollars. I am extremely happy with their service, and found them after searching the internet for a resume writing business. They came up as #1 and I decided to take the plunge. The process was seamless, well worth the money spent, and why they are considered #1 on the market.
I retained Zipjob to create a director/ VP level resume, after a 45 minute initial conversation and plethora of supporting documents for the writer to use, the first draft I was provided was terrible. The layout, experience content, vocabulary, and length were lackluster and far inferior to the product that is expected at the Director/ VP level. The layout was a generic layout pulled from Microsoft Word and the content was just filled with buzz words without information to support those buzz words. The cover letter was even worse, far too generic and didn't even remotely outline why I would be a quality candidate.
I sent several emails to the company expressing my discontent and my request for a refund was sent for "Review." That review came back and I was told that they have a final sale policy and that they would not be providing a refund. I spoke with an individual in their customer service department and I was told that the review was final, and that no one in the organization could override that. I was also told that I could not speak with anyone on the internal review team to discuss why my refund was denied, or plead my case as to why I wanted a refund.
Zipjob does not value their customers and certainly does not do the right thing when handling unsatisfied customers.
DO NOT USE ZIPJOB unless it is for an entry level position.
Zach did an amazing job on my resume and the turnaround time was superb!
I was very excited to get a new resume written. They had me upload my old resume and answer a few questions. In my summary I informed them that my old resume was TERRIBLE as it had been written by another company that butchered it. When I got my first draft a day later, not only was everything basically copy and pasted despite my statement, the writer informed me that we had a remaining six days to work together. I marked up the resume and highlighted areas that didn't make sense. He said he directly got it from a job post I submitted. I can copy and paste too! Also, not every job post has been grammatically edited. Then I was met with quite an alarming attitude where my resume writer, Nathan, berated me about how he pulled right from my submitted resume and job submittals. If I liked my current resume and it was awesome, why the hell would I change and submit it? I have now sent three emails to the main email address asking for the policy where it says I have one week to work with them. Also, I was sent two paragraphs and some information on how to do my LinkedIn. UM, I paid you to do my LinkedIn, I can google information on how to do it. If I was skilled at resume writing and LinkedIn, I would do it myself. I was hoping from some creativity with my resume and have a writer who is friendly and actually likes their job and is wanting to make their people stand out. I am SO disappointed and in reality I do NOT get unlimited revision, my resume is going to be half done and my LinkedIn isn't going to be done at all before the end of the day which is my final day working with my writer. Good luck getting a new job with this. I should have read the reviews. This meant a lot to me, and I had to work really hard to come up with the money to get it done. Now I am devastated with a resume that is terrible and writer who is detached, rude, and unskilled.
Answer: Hi Phil, Thank you for your service! As an Army Mom, I very much appreciate your commitment and service. My younger son did two tours in Afghanistan in three years with the Army. My older son continues to serve as an Army Reservist with deployments under his belt. Please keep in mind the VA has services available to assist with transition out. Also look at what your state has to offer for Veterans. You did not mention your work/professional vocation in your post. My advise, based on recent experience, is do not go with or trust Zipjob.
Answer: That's the same situation I was in. Just give them everything and let them figure out what to leave out, or combine, or highlight. My writer knew just what to do.
