At first when I discovered the Zagers online I didn't want to order until I could feel and experience the guitar in my hands. I am fussy to begin with so I figured with the 100% guarantee it was a good deal and get the guitar in my hands to see if they were what I wanted.

I first ordered the small travel size guitar and although it was nice, a small guitar ended up being not what I wanted. So I emailed the staff and they happily upgraded me to the parlor size. That one, although bigger than the travel size, I liked but it still was not exactly what I was looking for and again no real problem returning it other than a reminder to the staff who quickly took care of me and refunded my original purchase.

Finally, I didn't want to stop without trying the best of Zager so then I ordered the 900CE OM style with the Aura system and once that arrived I took it out and played it and loved it! Everything on it is top quality, the set up, the neck, the woods and the whole guitar is beautiful and begs me to play. So even on the first night I played for 1.5 hrs! And without the normal soreness I get. I normally play a Taylor 326ce and rarely go over an hour a night, most nights it is 45 minutes and done because my fingers hurt. End result, even out of the box I found the playability of the 900 to be equal or better than the Taylor just in the spacing and ease of playability.

Don't get me wrong I love both guitars but I am older and have the beginning of arthritis in my hands and I am finding I can play much longer on the Zager already so when it breaks in it will just get better. So I am a believer and love my new guitar and my fingers agree!

Thank you to Denny and the crew for putting up with my fussiness and the trades but it was worth it for this old Vermonter!

She arrived in Germany today. Fine tuning: 1 minute. (52 % humidity gainst 23% over here today.) So I gotta keep the case open to get a 40 % level and calm her. From the very first note: fantastic sound. String setting flat to neutral. Both frames and back: good rosewood. The fretboard: sparkling gainst the sun. Looks like red cedar... - counting the tree´s age: only with loupes. Hi grade A-s. And white binding and a round shoulder as we´ve been calling about. Who´s playing a 12 on the 12. Fret? This guitar will be my nu 12 companion besides the 50 year old Gianini... I tested one of my ol songs - heavy strumming over 7 frets combined with soft bridge picking, the G-tuners go to stand it. Amping tomorrow.

My conclusion: better in sound character and easier to play than a 7´ Martin or Taylor.

I am a professional musician. My 20 year-old Martin Guitar was having serious saddle issues and wouldnt stay in tune. I thought it might be time to get a new guitar. I was googling "Best place to buy a martin or taylor guitar" and Zager kept popping up. I had never heard of them before. I read up and read the reviews, which were all excellent - but I couldnt decide if this was for real or a scam. I called and wrote - and received a very detailed and thoughtful answer to my questions - from a real human - and with the 30 day guarantee, I thought what the heck - I'd give this a try. I ordered the ZAD50CE. It took about a week to get here. It came in a really nice case and with all kinds of goodies - capo, tuner, strings, my new favorite style picks, and a Tshirt. The guitar is gorgeous - looks very well made. The guitar sounds "young" - very crisp - but I imagine the tone will mellow with age. Its a blast to play - I hate to put it down!
Now I dont know if they are really made by hand or why they are shipped out of Nevada rather than Nebraska but this is a solid guitar and the customer service has been excellent.

I just want to say thank you. I own a Zager ZAD80 OM. I am a professional touring guitar player. Had some issues with my particular guitar. They took it and fixed it without any hassle, at no cost to me. You stand behind your product, and your customer service is the best I've seen. You have gained a new customer for life. I appreciate the great service. It is becoming harder to find these days and it was much needed ( and appreciated). My guitar arrived on Saturday. I was busy in the yard and put is aside but, opened right away when I was done. I have been blessed with being trained by and working for some exceptional companies and over the last nine years was our National Manager for 6. You folks are awesome and certainly a blueprint for how a business should run.
From the packaging to the product and all the accessories, I'm so impressed! Guitar, case, tuner, capo, extra stings, pics, videos? Yikes! Did I forget anything? Even literature to support making tweaks and verifying set up and who worked on it. It's a beautiful little guitar with a great sound and it's exactly what I wanted.
It feels and plays really nice. For the most part it'll be a travel partner but, I'll use it for some small stuff with my amp. I've owned and played all kinds of guitars. This is a keeper and I'm psyched to have a Zager! I patiently waited until I could find a guitar engineered and built in the States. I understand you must source parts where they are available and the best for what your goal is but, I wanted something of quality from here to take on sales trips. My patience paid off!

I fell in love with this guitar when I saw the video pairing it with a Martin D 28
Brazilian Pre War.
I couldn't be more happy when I got my guitar and played it. The sound is amazing, also the craftsmanship of these people in Lincoln Nebraska.
This axe will be the main guitar in my new album to be recorded soon at Delmark Records Riverside Studio, in Chicago.
I've got 5 acoustic guitars, and none of them are close to this wonderful baby.

My husband and I have been involved in, and played music all our lives. My dad played with Bob Wills and Hank Thompson. It was because of music that my husband and I met. He is quite the accomplished guitar player himself and owns more guitars than he needs!
However; he was "kinda" looking for a new acoustic. He had spent hours looking at several brands including Taylor, Martin and Blue Ridge, the later two he had already owned.
A friend brought a ZAD900CE for him to look at. He didn't just look, he had to have it!
These guitars have got such a great tone and the volume ( un plugged) is amazing! And of course they don't just sound beautiful, they are beautiful to look at too! But it don't matter how perty it is, if it's hard to play and has the sound quality of a 2x4!
I was so amazed to find they ALL come with a REAL case. Then I looked inside to find it had a humidity gauge BUILT IN! WOW! What a great idea!
Now I need another guitar! I want a Zager too!

Sent my Zager 900CE back after 1 week after receiving. It's been a month and still have not been credited on my credit card. Beware.

I purchased my ZAD 900 12 String on April 9th 2022, Expecting dilivery in July, I was suprised to recieve it May 21st 2022, It was in perfect condition and required very little tuning, This is the best 12 string I have ever owned, better than my Martin and the craftsmanship is excellent. I think that all the negitive hype out there is from disgruntled individuals and not real acoustic guitar enthusiasts. I thank you and wish you the best

I have never purchased a guitar online but their return policy made it with a try. The support team was very responsive and I received my guitar in several days. The case is well made and the guitar fits snuggly inside.
The guitar is a pice of art to the eye and the clarity and brightness of sound is remarkable. I know it will only get better with age and play!
I could t be more satisfied with this guitar on all fronts. And yes it does really play easier.
