My mechanic was very helpful. He assessed my vehicle first and then performed my service. When it was all done he provided a detailed list of recommended services and costs. Love, love, love, this service! Definitely a repeat customer.

Xavier is a very thorough ang knowledgeable mechanic. I am extremely pleased with his report. He saved me thousands of dollars and hours of time by giving me his no nonsense vehicle report. Folks use this service! The more dealerships that are aware that you will have their vehicles inspected by yourmechanic the less likely they will be to try to push lemons down your throught. I ended up not purchasing the vehicle. Thanks Xavier!

Great idea, wonder why i never thought of it! Pretty simple and it really works with my schedule, I'm a financial consultant and i really don have the time to check out shops, kinda just trusted whatever my friends or family recommended but YourMechanic actually comes out to my home and finishes the work in my driveway. My Acura TL's timing belt will need to be replaced soon and mechanic Robert gave me a pretty competitive quote. Will update this review once that gets done

Superb service!

Yourmechanic was recommended to me by a friend who purchased an amazon local deal last year to get her brakes replaced. I haven't had to deal with maintenance and I never had to really do any repairs since I purchased this car brand new from the dealer and had 2 free oil changes and a free 10k mile service maintenance. However, those oil changes normally took a good 2-3 hours depending on the wait time and my dealer was at least 15 miles away. I got an oil change from Yourmechanic and the entire service finished in under 1 hr and I did not even leave my home. Brewed a fresh pot of coffee and enjoyed some football while mechanic Trung change my oil

They say they guarantee their work not true. The mechanic damaged my vehicle and denied doing it. Don't use Brandon in the Raleigh area. He arrived without the proper tools so he used a pry bar to remove a part and damaged the radiator and said he didn't do it yet it didn't have a hole in it and wasn't leaking until he used the pry bar to remove the harmonic balancer that is in back of the radiator. After calling their customer no service department several times, left on eternal hold and never getting a call back. Gerald a supervisor called a left a message advising me the radiator wasn't anywhere near the work that Brandon was doing and they were not responsible. Obviously Gerald doesn't know the placement of the parts in a Crossfire...

I had a really great experience with YourMechanic. I was able to get an expert mechanic to come fix my car, right at my house. He was friendly and knowledgeable and diagnosed the issue, explaining everything to me. The prices were much better than the shop or dealer and the work was very well done. I have used them several more times and am so glad I found this place!

The service I experienced was top notch. I see mixed reviews here. I would guess some mechanics are more skilled than others or something. But their concept is great. Really nice not to have to have someone drop me off and pick me up from the shop, and still get what I need done.

Mark came to my office, completed the service and inspected my car. He found a crack in the exhaust and recommended a local welder who fixed it for $45. Had I not fixed it it would've been a much more expensive repair down the line. Thanks Mark.

I paid for a repair one week. $117. Oh if that doesn't work i recommend this. Didn't work hours later. I request recommened work. $145.30 mins after he drives off the problem is not repaired. I don't have the time or money to do the elimination game with this me mechanic. He is suppose to be certified. He should have a "skill" of repairing automobiles and to know exactly what the issue is. I don't want new pieces put on as we play Wheel of Fortune to figure out the repair problem. I am in the hole for $262 and i am on a budget beyond thin. I call the customer service line and the rep went through the whole unsincere i understand your frustration line. Really? Let me use your car and stop by the store for some milk and bread on your way over here. She wanted me to pay another $70 to have one of his co-workers/friends come and reinspect the car. If he felt like he did the job right i would have to pay the $70 and schedule another appointment. Apparently this customer service number connects in the Twilight Zone. Your Mechanic may have scammed my money, but they will never get my service and i will not refer them to anyone.

At first I was very skeptical about using an "on-line, mobile mechanic", but I was desperate. However, once Pete arrived and told me about how the service and pricing worked and told me his background and experience, I was put at ease. I have used YourMechanic on three occasions now, and each time went very well and for less money than I was quoted at other "drive-to" repair shops. Now I don't go to "regular" mechanics. For me and my family, we found that "Your Mechanics" offered better prices, very experienced mechanics, and the convenience of coming to work on our vehicles in our driveway. I highly recommend PETE (if you can get him - he is one of their best) and YourMechanic!

This company is a SCAM! I ordered services to replace my front, side and rear motor mounts from them and was supposed to have a mechanic come out tomorrow morning. They quoted me a fixed price that listed each part and the labor incurred. The mechanic called me and made arrangements to be here in the morning. Tonight I received a call from what sounded like a teenager from their corporate office saying that I would now be charged $50 more as their system had ordered the wrong parts. I explained that I had an appointment in the morning and that I would not be paying an additional $50 for their mistake. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that they had gone home for the day. I requested that they call me the next day, and was told that they would be sick tomorrow as well. I have read multiple reviews of this happening to other people. Buyer beware!

My husband used to fix our cars but has retired over the last few years. Luckily, he came across YourMechanic and we decided to try it out since it seemed very convenient. The website is quite easy to use and the prices were fair. Our first mechanic Dave was very thorough and our second mechanic Trung was very friendly. My husband approved both of their work!

YourMechanic was so convenient for me! I had an oil change right outside of my apartment so I didn't have to drive to any shop and wait for their service. Usually I have to wait 30 minutes to an hour just to get my oil changed, but the mechanic came on time and fixed it with no problem! Definitely would recommend and I'll be using their services in the future.

So I start filling out all the information to get my price estimates until til I get the "We need your license plate number for an accurate estimate" Thats a load of crappolla! Your might need that info if your planning on selling my information to some third party... If you had asked for my vin number to give an accurate estimate that would have been a truthful statement and request. Beware of a company that starts out already lying to you!
