XtraMath

Oh boy, where do I begin. This website is literally the most brain dead math website I've ever seen. Even IReady is more fun than this crap. The website has this annoying guy whose head looks like a rotten egg who wants to teach you math. Oh joy, what fun! Then, you do this annoying game called Race the- you know what, this man is not even a teacher. The annoying thing about Xtramath is the fact they give you about 00.5 milliseconds to answer a question, and then they judge it. It is so easy to miss-click and the speed of it is WAY TOO fast. The explanations are long and useless and never help me at all. Literally just do one multiplication problem at home, and you will have already gained more knowledge than Xtramath gave you.

It sucks! I got questions right multiple times, and they docked me one question! I would not do it if I were you!

Yeah it might sort of help on keeping math facts it is so bad even paper is better, it is unforgiving and it does not let you pause to drink water. Worst of all if you touch the wrong key it counts it as wrong and also the race the teachers are just MORE math to keep them stressed out. There are better options like gimkit. And you have to pay for this? That's just terrible.

This goes way too fast for my students and I think that xtra math shouldn't exist so that is why I don't like xtra math

I'm gonna be honest it does make you kind of memorize the math facts, but the problem is Mr c = Mr creepy also he looks like a monster and an egg but he only gives you 10 seconds or 3 to answer the question and when you get it wrong this is what he says in his head. "Your stupid haha" also the bugs. For example a VERY annoying bug is that every 10 math facts for me I press the right number but guess what. IT DOESNT GO THROUGH THE SYSTEM! L PROGRAM

I am a kid, and I am in third grade, but once everyday we HAVE to do Xtra Math. But it doesn't make me enjoy math! I have played learning games like Redbird, ABC math, and many more, but never have I played such a bad one! This review is coming from a kid, so if you join me, maybe we can take this business DOWN.

See title. This made me consider running away from home because this was required in school. Terrible, cruel teachers inflicting this upon a young mind.

This guy is an egg and does math too fast so I am losing brain cells every time i do math on this website

It makes me cry so badly so basic his bald head blinded me I know the work probably is bad but it makes kids cry that is why you probably keep it up

The worst a ever inverted, if some one opened up the gates of hell this would be it and the guy that in the red shirt is the devil him self.

I first tried XtraMath in second grade, and at first, I thought it might not be so bad. I was wrong. Now, I'm in 5th grade, at a different school, and I still hate it. For starters, the guy looks creepy. Also, it only gives you three seconds to answer a question, and because of this, it focuses more on how fast you can type than how fast you can do the math. Also, because of this, it can be very stressful for young kids. Another reason this website is terrible is it doesn't explain anything. Let's say you are a first grader, and passed addition and subtraction, but don't know how to do multiplication. Tough luck! It makes you do multiplication and doesn't even explain how to do it. In conclusion, it is a terrible website.

This is a great tool to help with memorization of facts. It is only ten minutes at a time, so not to much to ask from a child. The online teacher has helpful hints and is reassuring no matter the progress. Much better than flash cards in my opinion. The rate at which the questions are asked and need answered helps the child prepare for the speed at which they need to answer the state testing to finish before time runs out. The only problem I have had is that when we started the new grade it is wanting us to finish the last year assignment. Still practice!

So has some annoying things.
First, theres this thing where you have 1 chance to go boost your score (Progress quiz)
And then multiple chances to ruin your progress and go make your score decrease. (Race the teacher and progress quiz)
The teacher in xtramath for is Mr. C. He acts pretty strange.
He sometimes looks away from the camera and when you get it wrong he does some winks and smirks.
This will turn kids that are math lovers into, math haters.
The maximum limit to changing the time for xtra math race the teacher is 10 seconds.
If not changed then you would be given 3 seconds.
This will apply if the maximum seconds arent changed and left alone.
Beginners and experienced people will have 3 seconds (You might already know)
If you don't get at least 1 smiley face in Race The Teacher, you have to do the race four more times.
On YouTube, they have been shown to falsely copyright strike parody videos of their character Mr. C, in which is illegal.
Race The Teacher does not even help its students when getting to the next level.
