Only sign up if you're getting free credits to use! There's a "free play" of one game per day, it's two sessions of a pre-chosen game. Today, I went to click on it, and I didn't notice that the link sent me to a game that was a paid betting game there was NO LINK for the free play rounds. So now I just lost money because I most likely lost the round I didn't know was a betting round. They'll scam you out of money so DO NOT put your credit/debit card info in there EVER! I tried going on the app to do the free play and it's been the same g*dd*mn game three days in a row now! I'm getting sick of having the same free play game over and over! The scores are definitely rigged. People get impossibly high scores which you could only do by altering your computer settings, WorldWinner "claims" that it can detect things like that, but I call BULLSH*T! DO NOT waste your time! I've been on this site for a few years now, still have never cashed out, and have only accumulated, at the highest, around $7 but lost most of it through paid game rounds. Maybe if you're good at getting away with being shady, this site is for you, otherwise, stay away!
When I don't pay to play, I win most of the time, however when I pay, I lose my money all the time and never win...
I've been a Member at Worldwinner for about 4 years so I am not a newbie. The games seem unfair in various ways: in Scrabble Cubes, for example, there is NO way to know in advance against whom you are or will be playing - the computer picks and how do you know it doesn't pick someone with a higher score just to ensure you lose? There is NO! Way to verify in Trivial Pursuits that players against whom you are competing get the same questions you do. In Scrabble Cubes, there is NO! Way to be sure competitors get the same letter cubes as you do and thus, the same opportunities for scoring exist for both. Additionally, in Scrabble Cubes, I regularly see about five (5) usernames who each score in excess of 1,000 points (and often near 1,100 points) on one four-minute cube. This would be equivalent to playing a perfect game and getting a perfect score repeatedly which seems highly unlikely in the scheme of probabilities - some errors would be human, no? Not all cubes would be 1,100 cubes, no? The same people cannot get perfect cubes and play perfect games so often, it defies logic.
Why can't World Winner just be fair and transparent for the money they charge players. Suggestions would be to show players against whom they are or will be playing BEFORE the games starts. Ensure questions in Trivial Pursuits and cubes in Scrabble Cubes are the same for ALL players involved in the match to ensure equal opportunity for scoring. Weed out the obviously rigged or unreal players like "kernel_hotlook" and "wranderson" who are either bots, or cheaters, as they incredibly score 1,000+ at least twice a week and more usually 3-4 times per week for the wins.
UPDATE February 2023: So today they NEW AND IMPROVED the Scrabble Cubes interface. Now, you cannot even click the letters without it choosing the wrong one 12x and eating up your clock time. I have reported it several times to support - the Community Forum is full of much the same discussion about how the new interface does not work well. Nothing is done.
I was a member of the site for many years, until recently when I was able to prove that the games were rigged. Basically, the faster you won a game, you received more points. What I figured out in a particular game was a minute gave you roughly 10,000 points. So, solving a puzzle in three minutes would be 30,000... but solving it in two minutes got you 40, 000.In my example, I had a score of 42,328... solving a puzzle in 2:48. That score was beaten by over 40,000 points, which means the puzzle was solved in negative time. When I contacted WorldWinner about this, my account got banned.
They are quick to take out money from your bank. But when it comes to withdrawals…nothing! I have contacted customer service multiple times while my withdrawal was processed over a month ago and they mysteriously keep getting deleted or I never receive a response.
I was a member of this site for quite a while, so this review should carry some weight. I noticed some "issues" with some scores being rather... let's just say..."enhanced". When I pointed out this issue, including sending pictures to them... they blocked my account. Basically, the quick version is I proved a high score was made by solving a puzzle with negative time.
So, aside from the legal routes I am pursuing, do yourselves a favor and DO NOT USE their site.
The games are fun, but don't put your hard earned money into them. Play only the free warm-ups.
If you lose a game, they only show you the winning score, not the winning solution, so you cannot know if you and your opponent were given the same contest.
They will not let you win much. They have certain people they allow to win big. You will lose way more than you win I think they have people that use cheats
Let me start by saying, i have a phd in statistics. Im am VERY good at wheel of fortune. Many times, i have scored near the mathematical maximum score in the game, allowable for the word. (score is based on length of word, amount of letters, how many vowels purchased, and value of spins assigned for each guess plus time left over as a bonus and final round of course) on occasion, I would be less than 300 points from the maximum score. Assuming my "opponent" has the same word to solve, if i lost it could be by no more than 300 pts. (i add my points in my head as i play, Im never wrong) in several instances i would lose by 1000's of pts when its just statistically and mathematically not possible. The scores are falsely and arbitrarily generated. Your "opponent" most likely does not even exist. Simply put. DONT GET SCAMMED! They let you win just enough to unlock high stakes games and hook you, than you get the ol bait and switch. Oh and good luck cashing out too often or too big always had me flagged as cheating. I am currently building a case against the company with irrefutable proof of cheating and fraud.
I play the spades game and I will win the actual game then I click tournament results and it says I lost so it takes my money this is not right if I win the actual game then I should win the money but instead it takes my money
If you are doing good, I believe that you're time for the game gets cut short, so many times I've played a game and doing excellent and find that someone had tripled my score which would be impossible to reach if we had the same amount of time! What seems to happen is when you win a couple of games in a row they start cutting the amount of time on you or they are just making up a ridiculous score that there's no way could be achieved in same amount of time!
I love this app! The free play games are super fun and help introduce you to each game within the app. There is a lot of variety, I never get bored. I love that you can practice each game before you play for cash, and it is super easy to deposit funds and withdraw your winnings. I've cashed out hundreds of dollars over the last six months without any fees or hassle. I highly recommend this app!
I've been playing Worldwinner games for years. Even though there are a few players who I can't beat, I do pretty well. I actually won a WW contest a few years ago that paid me $1000 a month for a year. Yes, I received a check in the mail every month. I haven't seen another contest like it. It was by invitation only and was limited to 500 entrants. I would love to see a similar contest soon. I've never had a problem with any aspect of the site, from payouts to customer service. I enjoy the games very much. My advice? Read the rules and practice, practice, practice!
I have been playing for a few months. When I win they always pay. I have cashed out and always have gotten my money. You can okay for free as much as you want. It is at the bottom of each game. I do wonder if they rig some of the games. If I start winning too many times. All of a sudden I am beaten my another player with scores extremely higher than mine. I mean scores way out of my scoring. So I lose more than win. Right now I am praying for free since I love three of the games.
There is absolutely no way to win or actually make any amount of money whatsoever. Over the last 25 years, I have poured more money into this site and have made may 1/1,000,000,000 of my money back... which computes to basically a few pennies. They put you in levels with people that are so ridiculously above your skills that you will never win, and if you should happen to win, it is by pure luck and nothing else, most definitely not your playing skills. Don't waste your money.
My favorite is I played a head up WoF game, there was one multi-letter on the board (and it wasn't a common STRN), I lucked out and got that with the max 1K, bought no vowels and missed no letters, and somehow I lost, bwahahahahahahahaha. They rig the games, there is no question. The site freezes and they don't refund. They are frauds
I've been playing on Worldwinner since 2008 and I have learned that just a few simple steps can prevent or help solve nearly all of the issues people are upset about in these reviews. First, restart your device before you play so to avoid frozen screens. When you first log in to play take a screenshot of your screen - one that shows how much money you are starting with for that session. When you choose a game take a screenshot of it initializing or anytime before you hit 'play,' With these easy steps in place you have proof of what you played and that helps when you have problems with a game. Remember that when you ask for support you are talking to real people. Be polite, be respectful and provide all the information they ask for. You need these people to help get things sorted. You can be rude and they will give you the minimum help they are required. Or you can be polite and they will nearly always go out of their way to get things solved for you.
As far as gaming skills and losing or winning, the site will not let you play above your skill level. You can practice for free with every game they offer. You will always be matched with someone at your level, so when you lose its bad luck, not the site being shady. To get a feel for the different levels, try challenging someone. Then you can pick the game and skill level of your choice, easy, medium, or hard. You play for free in challenges so take advantage of that option and improve your game. When first starting to bet money keep to the one on one games until you get a feel for things.
I have never lost a single cent on the site when it involves technical issues. And the money I bet and lose is not their problem. The games are a challenge at every level and there are no guarantees that you will win each time. You never have to spend a penny if you don't want to - you can play the practice games on Worldwinner without making a deposit. Hope this helps.
It's rigged I spent lots cash, Everytime someone has a score in 55,000,*******. I'm at 39, to 46, high end that's seldom. Playing for yrs never made enough to get ahead if you do they got someone to put against you that's a higher score so they don't pay
I'm still missing $15 from an affiliate offer, and their support closed my ticket instead of replying and assisting. Ridiculous service for a company that prides itself on being successful
I have been playing on this site for years and got "platinum status" - ha ha. When the games hung (for no apparent reason on my end) I requested my money back. They ask for a photo, which their site then does not accept (some sort of error message flashes on the site). One month and many tries later, they are still owing me money and have not responded to my requests. It is not a lot of money but the ridiculousness of their system and their ignoring requests is coupled with e-mails they send informing me of my "platinum" status. Stay away.
Answer: If you start a game and leave your computer or phone you might score a mere 60 points. Your opponent may beat your 75 to 60. Play the whole game and you get 5000 points you will still lose 5030 to your 5000. THAT proved to me that it uses a computer to pick winners and losers to keep everyone winning 50% and losing 50%
