I went in for a pair of 6 inch work boot. Was greeted immediatley by Employee (Gail), I bought a pair but I ended up having a problem with the pair i bought, returned them and was able to exchange for a different pair without any questions. Then the sencond pair i got, the stiching came undone within a copuple of times wearing them. Again, i went back and dealt wtih Gail again and once again the customer service was impecable. Very easy to deal with. Triple A Service. Definately will be going back when i need a new pair... Thanks Gail for an awesome experience...

I was in need of a pair of work boots for asphalt. My co-worker reccomended the cofra road boot, and mentioned he had a good experience with the staff at work athority. Upon arrival, (August, 10th / 2023), I was quickly greeted by Robert, from the northeast calgary location. Robert was eager to help me find the right boot and fitment. I was in and out of the store in under 20 minutes, and I left satisfied with my purchase. Overall it was a good expierience. I appreciate the helpful staff.
I will definitely be reccomending work athority to my friends and co-workers.
The cofra road 8" boot is perfect for the work I do.

We purchased a pair of work boots from this company which fell apart five months later. The receipt says there is a 100% warranty for six months, which then contradicts itself by saying any refund/credit will be based on the product being never worn and also being pro-rated. Unaware of the cunning on the receipt, we went in to purchase our replacement pair expecting a partial refund. It turns out that what the store does is takes the purchase price, divides it by 12 months, then takes the amount for the five months we had them when they fell apart, and deducts that amount from the full purchase price for the replacement pair. The store calls this "a wear fee." The store doesn't realize that we paid the "wear fee" when we paid for the boots to wear them, not to display them on our mantlepiece. So one pair of boots cost us $320.14; plus we were charged tax twice.

Outrageous.
