This company has no phone or address, only an email option. I canceled my order within a few minutes after placing because I read their return policy in detail and was not comfortable with the limited return for quality issue only. It has been 6 days and I have received a canned email every day saying please reconsider we offer free gifts. I have notified my CC company and am disputing the charge. In the meantime, my only recourse seems to be to continue my daily email requesting cancel and full refund. This really seems to be a scam.

Had a pretty bad experience with the customer service. Their return/exchange policy is very vague. They launched a sale within a day when I purchased a wig and they are not honoring to price match.

This story spans 5 weeks of logistics nightmare so I will stick to the basics. I ordered a wig but when delivered I was on a business trip. UPS sent the wig to a holding warehouse in Germany. Only thing Wigs.com has to do is instruct UPS to try once more to deliver the wig, I agreed to pay all additional costs. Their answer after contacting them at least 6 times is NO. So now the $335 I spent on it are lost. UPS will destroy the package, and NOTHING I can do about it.

When shopping for wigs it is SO important that you get what you pay for - after all, it's what you expect.
The sales staff KNOW their products and will help you with the best colors to match what you desire.
This site is part of "Beauty and Hair" and is one of several wig sites.
I've exchanged without hassle and they deliver when they say they will deliver.
Shopping online can be dangerous and very, very time consuming especially when it's very personal.
Just sayin'

I purchased the Julianne wig for $427. After 5 wears, it started losing hair. I returned it and it took them an entire month to examine. After a months time, they said nothing was wrong with it and that I can get it shipped back for $8.
Terrible terrible service. Not only is the wig defective, they denied it being so and took an entire month to get back to me. Never use this company!

My Honest Thoughts
March 24, 2016

I ordered a longer 18" lace front wig, which took about a couple weeks or just under to arrive (No big deal... I ordered from the United States). After I placed my order, I suddenly got a sick feeling inside, because silly me decided to read the reviews after the fact. The reviews were horrific for the most part... so I just decided to hope for the best and prepared myself to eat the cost; as a lesson learned. Having said that... The wig arrived, and to my relief and surprise, it was actually a nice piece! It has plenty of hair on a well constructed cap, as well as having the wavy style I had hoped for. Now, for the bad... The color was completely out of line with what was pictured in the photo... of course I suspected the majority of the photo's they use, not the actual pieces, but more so there to serve as an inspired style, color and length. But still, they should be far more mindful that for example if I see a level 5 or 6 brown with golden highlights in a photo, I would expect the actual color to be in the ball park... in my case (as a professional colorist) I received a level 7 warm red/brown solid hair color. Not at all the color I would have chosen, however, at that point I was thrilled that I at least received a decent wig over all for the $120.00 I paid to the company. With a few tricks of my own... I can make this work for what I need it for... but some may not be as fortunate or talented as I am. So... would I order again? No... unfortunately I have learned a lesson, that as it pertains to hair... an in person purchase is a much safer avenue, unless of course you have already developed a level of trust with a vendor. Had the color been closer to what was advertised, I would have probably taken another chance and placed a future order; to be fair. I gave three stars, simply because the item came in a reasonable amount of time, and I did receive a decent product.

Mallery,
Thank you for shopping with wigs.com. We are thankful you received your wig in a timely manner and liked the quality for the price. I am sorry your color did not satisfy expectation.
Color is the most difficult part of buying online as monitor display varies and when the wigs are shot by us or the manufacturer, the lighting in the photoshoot plays a crucial role in how the color is displayed.
We do however, photograph the exact wig and color which we display, so they are the actual pieces we are selling. It is a blessing that you have the skill to make a color work for you after it didn't meet your expectations. Not many have that gift. So for future reference should you decide to trust us again... we try to address the color issue in a few different ways. Color ring loaner program, and the tricolor images which give a better idea. The good news is the color numbering is pretty universal with all the manufacturers. The numbers (i. E. browns 2-8) are pretty true to form with all the manufacturers. We do not have any fees for exchanging, so we are happy to make the color right if there are any problems. Thank you so much for your feedback and for shopping with wigs.com

I was charged a 50 percent restock, never offered a credit. Lost 60.00. Customer service was horrible. Hateful on he phone and in emails. I could understand 10 or even 29 percent. But 50? Got to check with a lawyer to see if that us even legal. Would have gladly dine an exchange.

Kathy, this is very concerning. Our restocking fee is 25% if it is a return and no charge for exchanges. Please make sure your order was with wigs.com as there have been several mistaken reviews for our company (like the 4 reviews below) which weren't customers of ours.
If so... I would appreciate your emailing me your order information because we have never charged any other restocking fee other than 25%. In fact, we will be adjusting our policies soon to eliminate the restocking fees as we are opening our wigoutlet soon!
Please email me your info to: [email protected]

Returned wigs I paid to ship back to them. Got a letter saying they going to donate to charity. Emailed them they said the only way I can get them back is if they haven't been shipped out to charity on top of that they said I had to pay shipping to have them returned. I bought 3 wigs that I never worn.

Double charge you
November 28, 2015

They double bill you, and when you call them up they say it will take 24 to 48 hours to take the extra charge of buyer beware! Never heard of a company doing that.

Brit, the only way it is possible to be double billed is to submit an order twice. There is no other way. The good news... If this happened to you it will be rectified. Unfortunately, it does take your bank a day or two to credit your account. We don't have any control of this but we do credit back any duplicate orders immediately. We want to make sure you are taken care of so please feel free to contact us directly if you are still dissatisfied. We will do what is right to make sure you are satisfied. Please accept our apologies for your frustration but know that your information is safe and encrypted so you will never be billed erroneously or in excess.

I bought a wig and the full accessory pack from this company to the tune of $187.00. After I received the product, I tried it on with one of the wig caps and returned it promptly the very next business day as I felt it was too flat. My refund was $95... the company stating that there is no refund on accessories even though they were never used. I hope to head anyone else off at the pass to go elsewhere if they want to buy a wig and accessories.

Terrible customer service
September 28, 2015

I am from Malaysia, and you have no idea how expensive it is for me to buy stuff from the US. it has been a month since I placed my order, and it is still not shipped. I emailed them three times, but still no response. Should have read the reviews before purchasing. I wasted around $300 for nothing!

I ordered a wig and paid for expedited shipping (1-2 business days). The web site says that orders are processed in 1-2 business days, so I assumed that I should have my purchase within a week (at the VERY latest), but when I finally emailed the company after hearing nothing for 6 business days, I received a reply indicated that they had JUST created a shipping label. My previous wig was destroyed in an accident, and I have nothing to wear to my daughter's wedding. I have no idea what I'm going to do. On top of their slow processing time, they will not allow me to return the wig (even if I never open the box) without charging me a 25% restocking fee.

Wish I would have read reviews about this website before I ordered. I did not realize that they charged 25% restocking fee for returning an item. The wig did not look good on me and returned it the next day. So I paid 40+$ for trying on a wig. Never again.

I really fail to understand why wigs.com isn't offering at least 2 sizes (average and small) of each wig. Surely millions of women don't have the same measurements and "average" is definitely too large, at least for me.

Beware
February 16, 2015

Ordered a wig and the fine print you need to read very carefully. Even thought they send you a plastic head cap to use when trying on because they say they can not use it again, they charge you a re stocking fee of 25%! Crazy.

Carol, I can understand how frustrating a restocking fee is. Although there is a hygiene cap for you to try on with your wig, it is still a wig we return to the manufacturer as we only sell manufacturer fresh products. This is not in fine print but stated prominently in our policies. I know you are disappointed but we do have some good news!... We will soon be opening up our wigoutlet as a full discount outlet! This website will offer open box items at significant discounts. This means we will not have to pay the restocking fees to the manufacturers as we will keep these open box items and offer them on wigoutlet. Good news... wigs.com items are not only always factory fresh but now you can send back anything you have safely tried on without paying a restocking fee! We are working on this to launch by the end of 2015. We hope you can appreciate our mission to always provide manufacturer fresh wigs.

I have been a long time user of easiXtend elite remy hair, I absolutely I'm in love with the hair. I am in the cosmotology field and I can tell great quality of hair and this is it! But with that being said I am highly disappointed with how I received the hair. It should be in a box and when you open the box the hair should be in a ponytail holder with a hair net wraped around the hair. This is not how I received my package! My box was ripped with scotch tape holding it together, and when I opened the box the hair was all over the place, not neatly put together! I was so sad :( It's like receiving a Tiffany's ring but the beautiful blue box is damaged, which then makes it not as special.

I then called wigs.com and was on hold for 13mins... When the woman finally answered I told her the situation and how sad/disappointed I was. She then told me I could return the hair which would have been ok, but I have a big event the next day and I need the hair. Then she then told me I could have 20% off my next order! But can not be used with another coupon... there are always discounts in this site which is awesome but then I'm not really receiving anything for my sadness of have some troll mess with my new hair!

Over the years I have spent thousands of dollars on this brand have referred many people including my salon to sell the tape in hair extensions. I just wished wigs.com would have stepped up to the sistuation instead of saying "sorry, we are a third party sales and have no control over this"

Jill, we apologize for your inconvenience. It is disappointing to see you were not taken care of to your satisfaction. I absolutely agree with the Tiffany ring analogy! There is something special about the opening of a package you have been anticipating. There is no excuse and though it was just the box and the presentation of the hair... it does affect the experience.
Im thankful the hair was still the gorgeous hair Easihair is known for!
We would like to make it up to you. Please contact [email protected] and I will do my best to earn your trust back;-)

In my opinion, Wigs.com is a horrible place to do business with. They claim to stock thousands of wigs but each time I placed an order with them it was "out of stock." I don't believe that they stock wigs, I think the only wigs that they have on hand are the wigs that their customers, who are dissatisfied, return to them and they of course charge their customers who return their merchandise a re-stocking fee but re-sell those same wigs at full price to the next unsuspecting customer. After 4 weeks of waiting and absolutely no voluntary communications from Wigs.com, the wig finally shows up. Their customer service reps are rude: they are offended if you try to find out why everything is always on backorder and equally offended if you dare to inquire about when I might expect to receive the merchandise that I ordered. I have yet to receive a response to that query that makes any sense. Most responses are full of fumbles and untruths. I decided to Google reviews for Wigs.com and there are quite a few review websites on Wigs.com and the reviews reflect my experiences with Wigs.com perfectly - 99% of the reviews were extremely negative. It appears that Wigs.com is consistent in their lousy service and rude customer service. Does anyone know of a good online wig store with a good product, timely service and customer service reps who are helpful?

Pamela, We regret your experience was negative. I understand how frustrating "out of stock" can be. We have the same frustrations. Because we offer over 1,000 products and each one has 10-20 colors... we are not able to stock all items. As a matter of fact, we only strive to stock the best sellers in the best selling colors. We DO NOT SELL unsatisfactory wigs which are returned to us as new wigs. Most wigs are sent back to the manufacturer. We have an outlet site as well which may also sell them. ALL wigs.com wigs are new and manufacturer pristine wigs. You are correct in noting there are several backorder issues with some of our manufacturers. This is unfortunately a problem we have little control in except to try to order stock of the best sellers which experience lots of backorders. We are working to manage our inventory better and know this is not the kind of service we want you to experience.
As for the rude client service representatives... all our calls are recorded. Please reach out to me and with your phone number, we can review the calls and correct this problem. Client services is where we are focus on the most for this year. Our reps have received thorough training and you will not find better information anywhere else on line... but if they are not kind and accommodating... no one will care how much we know! I am very upset and passionate about this. Please feel free to contact me so I can rectify this issue and maybe earn your trust to try us again.

The first wig order arrived fine, but the shampoo & conditioner were on backorder! Still waiting after 4 weeks! Second order went on backorder; called them yesterday, and they don't have a date yet as to when they expect the wig to be back in stock. Customer Service said that "... we don't have the capability to show 'out of stock' on our website..." WTF?! What online store doesn't keep track of their stocks? Because the wigs are probably made by slave-labor, and shipped at the last minute. The prices may be good, but waiting 2 months for an order? No thanks! I'll shop local! I do not recommend this company.

Ashante, We understand how frustrating it is to have to wait for something we want and need. I regret you has this experience here. At this point, I know your issue is no longer open but wanted to clarify how stock and availability are handled in our warehouse.
Wigs.com carries stock in many of our top selling brands and styles. As we have over 1,000 styles offered online, we do not stock every item. For those we have in stock... they are shipped immediately upon order and we have the fastest delivery time in the industry. For those items we do not stock, we cannot control the backorder schedule and many times are not given a back in stock date. This does present a problem for us and we are just as frustrated by the limitations presented by some of these manufacturers. Every company which sells wigs experiences the same issues with this.
However, I would like the opportunity to make amends for your frustration if you care to try us again. If so, please feel free to contact me directly at [email protected] as I would like to earn back your trust.
Respectully,

Horrible customer service. Sold me a visibly used wig and responded not once to my phone calls and emails. No refund, no replacement, out $1500 and stuck with a wig that I have no idea where it's been. Washed it in the hopes to get some sort of use, water turned dirty brown. Disgusting. Tried to review the wig on their site, they won't approve negative reviews. Wigs.com is a scam. Beware.
