I am intrigued and wish to go further. I found your site by accident I have known about Paganism, Witchcraft, and Wicca. I am Native American and have been told by numerous people, that I was a witch. And until my grand-daughter called me a Green and White Witch I didn't think much of it. I have always been able to make anything grow. Like I didn't plant corn this year but I had six beautiful stalks that produced very sweet corn. How did I get the corn. My bird Sanctuary behind my house just as you reach the edge of the woods. My experience thus far has been delightful. I look forward to every day, After my husband goes to sleep, I have quiet time. I take care of my 68 year old husband. He was in a horrific ar accident 2 1/2 years ago. I will quit now. I am rambling.
Letanya what a dear sweet soul you have. We are so honored to have such a beautiful person join our academy. Being a caregiver for a loved one can be incredibly hard and lonely at times as I know from personal experience. I am so happy to hear you are taking time for yourself and finding time to nurture your gifts and develop your skills. Keep this in mind- women have always been healers. We were the unlicensed doctors and anatomists of western history. We were nurses, counsellors & pharmacists, cultivating healing herbs and exchanging the secrets of their uses. For centuries women were doctors without degrees, barred from books and lectures, learning from each other, and passing on experience from neighbor to neighbor and mother to daughter. We were called "wise women" by the people and witches or charlatans by the authorities. Medicine and herbs are a part of our heritage as women, our history, our birthright. You're a witch by the simple fact that you use your hands to aid the suffering being and help take away their pain. By calling yourself a witch, you're shape-shifting a fearsome word into one that signifies strength, stewardship and a fierce, open heart. Yes! Failure isn't an option at the Wicca Academy. We wanted to give everyone unlimited chances on our quizzes. I like the videos, quizzes, and various articles about Wicca. A lot of old and new ways of tradition and schools of thought about Wicca, Witchcraft, and Paganism.
