I've been a WHOOP subscriber on a yearly plan and first heard about the brand through Steven Bartlett's podcast. I really liked what WHOOP stood for - performance, self-awareness, and accountability - and I believed in that idea.Unfortunately, my recent experience has been the opposite of what I expected. After losing my WHOOP 5.0, I've been unable to order a new device for over a month, even though it's available for new customers. Support has been unresponsive and generic, and I'm still waiting for a refund for a product I had to return after accidentally ordering just the band and battery, thinking it included the device. It was shipped with a three-week delay, and despite that delay, WHOOP refused to cancel and refund it - so I had to wait weeks just to return it, and I still haven't received my money back.To make it worse, every message from support sounds like it's written by an AI - emotionless, repetitive, and completely detached from what I'm actually saying. So either WHOOP is using AI for customer support, or they've hired people trained to sound like robots. As a paying subscriber, I'm left without a device and unable to use the service I've already paid for. It's honestly disappointing to see such a disconnect between what WHOOP claims to represent and how it actually treats its customers.
