The Greensboro location recently open, so we thought let's try it. After waiting in line for 45 minutes we ordered a patty melt, a double Whataburger, 2 orders of onion rings an order. If fries, 2 Dr peppers and 2 apple pies. $36 later we had the worst burgers of our lifetime. The patty melt was cooked to hell times 2 and overly salty. The double Whataburger was also cooked to hell and overly salty. The onion rings were soggy and cold and the fries were cold. At least the soda has carbonation and the apple pie were good. I would rather eat at McDonald's. Whataburger is the worst. Don't waste your money. I gave the burger to my dogs. I'm actually surprised they didn't turn their noses up at it.
I went through the drive through on 7/10/2025 and an black girl took my order nicely and read it back to me and it was correct I went through the drive through an manager her name was Dulce an worker said she was very rude and was talking Spanish in my face with an attitude it's not my fault she has to work at whataburger do better thanks in advance.
After. Waiting for 20 minutes I finally got my food order was wrong and the food actually "sucked"your food is terrible!
I swear everytime I go up there at whataburger (2420 W university Dr Denton tx)this Mexican girl big $#*! always talks in Spanish in front of my face! My husband and I have been here quite a few times for online orders only, both late night (between 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.) and afternoon (between 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.) due to the convenience, but no more... The terrible service outweighed the good service at this place... Late night the drive-thru will only have maybe 3/4 vehicles and the lobby will have maybe 2/3 customers... During the afternoon hours there's like 5/6 vehicles in the drive-thru and maybe 5/6 groups in the lobby... Our last visit was enough to make us say screw convenience, we'll drive a few miles further for better service... On Sunday, we placed an online order that was supposed to be ready within the next 5 minutes (placed online at 4:36 p.m. ready at 4:42 p.m.)... We waited until 5 p.m. to head to the restaurant because the order is never ready, even when we wait 15 minutes to head to the restaurant. We arrived at the restaurant at 5:08 p.m. One person was ahead of us in line in the lobby... At 5:10 p.m. we asked about our online order and the guy said it will be a moment... We waited and watched 4 customers after us place and get their orders ahead of us, including an employee... At 5:20 p.m. a manger was walking around asking people if they were ok... When she asked us we explained the online order we placed at 4:36 p.m. She went to the back and stated we were here for the online order, like we had just arrived... When she gave us our order, it was the same thing, she acted as though the order had been ready. At 5:25 p.m. we were leaving the restaurant with our food... An online order taking almost an hour is ridiculous to say the least..
Today I stoped by your location at restaurant 492 my order confirmation was *******. I ordered #4. I take the buns off since I was diagnosed with diabetes. I specifically said 3 times unsweetened tea. I drive to the drive thru and again asked is this unsweetened tea, the lady says yes. I drive to work and tea is sweet. My sugar spiked up to 262. I have been working so hard for over a month to have one of your employees screw me with my health. Called and complained with Madison Richesin and all I get is will give you a free meal another day you come. She was friendly and apologized but your employees need to understand why we ask for unsweetened teas. Coach you team, address this circumstance. I stressed all day to lower my sugar levels. I would sue you'lls unprofessional team if I could, just to bring a point on paying attention to detail. Very upset customer..
They ask you if want cheese,ask if you ok only want a sandwich. Beware fat people. Ask you if you want onions.ask you if want a meal.just give a #1 like it say on the dam menu. You can be skin and bones and want you to eat a sandwich.
I had 860 rewards points on my Whataburger App., I checked my App last week and had a zero balance. I called customer service to ask what happened to my points and was told that points expire after 6 months of inactivity. I never received an email notification warning me that my points were about to expire. They refused to reinstate my points and referred me to their "Terms and Conditions." Burger King notifies their customers with weekly emails warning that their points are about to expire! I guess that's too much trouble for Whataburger! Keep your greasy mediocre burgers, I won't be back! Your value meals are way overpriced and not worth the money! The next time we are in a recession and your business tanks you will be begging people to patronize your greasy dives! From a former customer!
I have called both customer service and asked for the issue to be escalated. Each time they promise to call and they never do! Now what? They took my points (around 4k) and they have not returned them. They also promised to add 950 pts for any inconvenience and even those points were never issued. The following detailed complaint has been sent to the Corporate Whataburger office on numerous occasions:

Hello! I have not received any correspondence since 9/26/24 and I was assured by customer service that the escalations department would contact me! Who do I escalate these issues to? I was at one of your stores this morning and had I been able to use my coupons I would have saved money for me and my family. Would someone please return my original points balance please! They should never have been removed! I would like to speak with someone in escalations asap. Thank you for your consideration.

- Food decidedly very cold and tasted like it sat cold somewhere a long, long time. We waited for the not provided Dr Pepper shake and when we asked for it they did not bring a straw. Both our sandwiches were slimy and dripping with mayonnaise before even opened and lacked any flavor. The onion rings were center caked full of breading and raw and gritty inside. The Dr Pepper shake was very dark colored and tasted strongly of a chemical compound. Yuck! The staff was clueless and certainly not interested in any of our requests for help. Lots of staff but no one cared! Yuck!
I ordered 25.00 Dollars worth of food and asked for a few ranch drsssing and was told to pay for it. Ive never payed for ranch and upset that im being charged for sauce. I also asked for extra mustard and got none. Please remember that your not the only restaurant in town that makes burgers. You will receive 0 stars from me on your survey reviews, social media reviews, and online Google search reviews until this is corrected company wide. Everytime i go to visit this location snd order. No exceptions. 50 cents for a few squirts if sauce its ridiculous.
We drove clear from the other side of Harrisonville to raymore I haven't been feeling good and got up at 3:00 in the morning to get something to eat has been drove me up to raymore to Whataburger and the guy come out says we're closed cleaning the lobby. I thought this was the finely place you could get something to eat whenever but I guess not before they didn't have employees now they're cleaning a floor and won't serve you 😪
I went to the athens location and went through the drive through the lady taking my order could not understand me even though we both speak English. She kept repeating my order back wrong as if she didn't wanna go through the trouble of making it like I wanted it. Then when I got my order she basically threw it at me and whe I got home it was of course wrong. I'm allergic to tomatoes so I could not even eat the sandwich. It's not like they care about these reviews but they should
I ordered a meal through the app from a Whataburger in Bossier City, LA. My order included a large coke, but their soda machine was down and I didn't want tea, so I asked for a refund of the two dollars and change that a large drink costs. Long story short, they wouldn't refund anything, told me I'd have to contact customer service. I called customer service as soon as I got back to my hotel…that was the beginning of the worst, most bizarre customer service experience I've ever had in my 60 years on this planet. I realize it was only a couple of bucks, not worth the effort. But I'm a "principle of the thing" kind of guy, so there you go. And at one point, I had a good conversation with the store manager who offered to send me a $25 gift card to make up for my trouble (I'd already called a half dozen times and spent HOURS on the phone with them by then), but that never happened. So here we are, a year and a half later, and they finally refunded me…$2.79, the price of a large coke. After all the phone calls, all the hours I spent on the phone with them, I think they owe me a little something more than the exact amount they SHOULD have given me on the spot on Fathers Day in 2022, especially since they'd already offered me a $25 gift card. Just my opinion. As far as the food goes…good burgers, good fries, good breakfast burritos. But I'm done with them. And if this review makes even one person decide not to stop at the Whataburger in Bossier City, then it was worth it.
I went to Whataburger on Gentry Pkwy in N Tyler, and ordered the breakfast on a bun combo. Got home the hash browns were in the bottom of the bag, with the envelope on top, not opened. Grease soaking thru the bottom of the bag. This is poor customer service and employees need more training. Next time I'll check my purchase and have it re-bagged. If I go back.
We DoorDashed food from here and they said they didn't have fries and the dasher told us we couldn't get any discount or anything we could do to get our money back besides that we the order was wrong and we payed 60$ just for 3 drinks and 3 cheese burgers and no fries we desired to call to talk to the manager about not getting a discount or getting our money back. If we knew that we weren't going to get any fries with the order we could have just bought the cheeseburger itself we were disappointed because we wanted to get our fries with the order the food wasn't that good and everything for 60$.
I'm so upset with this whataburger because I ordered a patty melt without onions because I'm allergic and I thought I made that very clear, I also ordered it with extra sauce on the burger and also on the side. After I got home and I opened it up I had no sauce on my burger or on the side and I also had a lot of onions. When I called the store the man who answered the phone was so rude and after I told him what happened he told me he couldn't do anything about it and then he hung up on me. Normally I'm not one to complain but this made me so upset I had to share.
Me and my family came and ordered 4 meals within all those fries there were 10+ uncooked fries in there in each meal. So gross lost my appetite! Me and my kids and husband could have gotten sick if I hadn't cough ten it myself. My 4 year old could've gotten sick this is just unprofessional and disgusting! In these pictures is a comparison of a uncooked fry and a cocked fry very noticeable.
Lost our order? I the drive thru. 25 minutes later after I prompt them they took our slip which I'm glad we had and filled the order. About 5minutes food was Luke warm. Not very good. We're done...
I understand whataburger can be super busy and crazy but tonight it was no one in line maybe because of the rain. I went just for the onion rings with a burger. I got a cold burger and no onions at all instead I got fries and they were cold. Bad bad deal when I opened my bag at home only 5 minutes away.
Answer: Never heard of so much sexual activity in a place of business such as this!
