Cancelled my paid booking with untrue reason

I paid a lot of money for a ticket from Amsterdam to Bogota by KLM and they cancelled that booking many hours later pretending that they could not get the ticket at the mentioned rate anymore. That was untrue as I afterwards booked the ticket myself directly with KLM at the same rate for the same date. And despite them trying to scare me off to do that, the flight went perfectly. No cancellation.
