I requested a BC for my mother-in-law from PR and when I found out that her ID's were in fact expried, I called VitaChek on their ph# *******777 and waited on the phone for more than one hour. I finaly get to speak with a rep., which said that they will charge me the $11.00 for the processing fee but not the rest, and I was fine with that, but the wait to get someone on the phone is ridiculous that a customer must wait so long to get a representative on the phone. They say, that you can call them from 7AM until 7 PM centeral time but waiying that long without an option for them to call you back, to avoid waiting on the phone is not great business,since I did called at 8AM I was had waited 30 mins, so i tryied at 5PM their time to finally get to speak with someone. I should have looked at the reviews of this company, that would have told me everthing about how horrible they are doing business with all customers nation wide.

I was hesitant to use their services due to the negative feedback I had heard. But I was surprised at how quickly the marriage certificates I requested from Puerto Rico arrived (they arrived within a week). Customer service was also very efficient; I wrote to them asking them to correct a mistake I made while filling out the document request form and they got back to me right away to say that the correction was made. The only problem is that you can't get birth certificates through them. At least those of P.R.
