They don't deserve even one star!

My issue is still not resolved and they are holding on to my money - it has been a month! They blocked me instantly for using the word "Adidas" on the title to my ad. They are accusing me of being counterfieter and asking me to supply additional pictures of the item even though I did not use the photos on my post. They are being really unhelpful and I have £50 pending to withdraw but I can't get to it because they blocked me! It was my second posting as I am new to vinted. Never never never again will I use this site to sell my things. They are the scammers holding onto people's money without good reason. Anyone with common sense would look at the ad I was trying to post and see that it's second hand and as a new user I have simply made a mistake under their very strict rules.

I recently discovered that Vinted shared my address with someone I did not have any transactions with. Vinted spent over 6 weeks "investigating" to only say that addresses are bound to get shared in the process of shipping. They never acknowledged how this happened when I was not involved in any transactions with the other person. They repeatedly asked me to do their job by contacting the other person for them, despite me providing them with her name and Vinted id. They repeatedly asked for the same information that I had already provided. When I was dissatisfied with their final response and said I would be filing a formal complaint with ICO for how they mishandled my information, they gave me an email address to write to make that complaint with Vinted. I just wanted to make one final complaint to let them know I had informed ICO and instead they claimed I started a new investigation. They provided that email and they started a new inquiry. I feel they were rude and patronizing. I would never use platform to sell anything. It is not worth the time or money. Their customer service is hideous and they will just pass the blame. They are not a company that values your data. You will be safer and less stressed selling your items elsewhere or just donate them as Vinted is simply not worth it.

No customer service, had been using vinted regularly without issues until a buyer recieved a parcel that had clearly been run over and mishandled, items were missing from the bag. Buyer got compensated, and vinted just sent me messages fobbing me off saying I packaged it incorrectly.ive followed all packaging standards adequately, had 30+ transactions without problems. Now I'm £30 down and NO GOODS RECIEVED BACK. DISGRACEFUL. NO SUPPORT FOR SELLERS REMINDS ME WHY I LEFT EBAY

My issue was receiving the wrong item that I cannot use at all,I want to return the product but knowing that I need to pay the return cost of course I will not do that it should be at the seller's expense because none of those was my fault. I will not get any in return after spending time, money, and effort (I have to spend another extra cost for shipping!Oh gosh seriously?) I simply asked customer service to help reach out to the seller because I want my full refund and I am not responsible for the seller's mistake. What a platform buyer and seller don't have the protection they should have investigated according to the case. But yeah lesson learned don't get scammed! You won't get any help. For receiving the wrong item you'll be doomed! You won't get any yet spending more! Plus the effort and time! So not worth it
The seller will just ignore you till they get the payment and you are left frustrated and disappointed behind.Oh poor thing vinted.You should do better.

I sold trainers to a Kayleigh2214 I'd avoid her and vinted like the plague.She got the trainer's which she confirmed to me and vinted cancelled it and refunded her the money.I never got a penny of the money she should of paid me and she has now blocked me.Got on to vinted they don't want to know no help at all after sending them screenshots of her saying she got it and it was posted. A scam site and a scammer. Never again was my first time to use it as well. Thier customer service is awful they don't give a damn. It should be closed down.

Vinted is the biggest scammer!
The buyer sent me an item which was significantly different from the description. Vinted turned a blind eye and the buyer just took the money and started harassing me! Vinted's done nothing!

Then I sold an item there, the buyer was a thief! She said the item worked perfectly but she reported to Vinted that it's broken. The buyer refused to me send me back the item but she got refunded and took my item for free! Again, Vinted's done nothing!

So fed up with them and from now on I just donate everything to charity.

Support is terrible. Sellers are selling high value fake items, and they do nothing! This online platform is a heaven for non authentic item sellers! Avoid it!

No buyer protection

There is no buyer protection, which you pay for.
The item arrived faulty and it was up to me to pay to return the item, even though the seller agree the items were stained. So you pay to have the items delivered and then if they are faulty you pay to return them! Crazy and Vinted are not helpful at all.

If you leave a negative review the seller does the same, it seems to be back to 20 years ago when on ebay sellers would leave a negative fb out of spite if they got it. As a buyer having paid and therefore done my duty I have the right not to be judged negatively it is a disgrace, this way many buyers for fear of retaliation and negative fb will not leave negative fb, so dishonest sellers will get the better of it CONGRATS ANOTHER WEBSITE FOR SCAMMERS! STAY AWAY

When things go wrong, do not expect to find support at Vinted, you will simply not get it. They are crap at solving any issue. I believe it comes from the Estonian culture as it is reflected in the way they never take the customer's side even when it is evident, with pictures given, that they are wrong! They are slow, repetitive and totally un useful.

Imagine being bullied on the app, being called pathetic and cheap for returning a dress, reporting it to vinted and they declare that as long as another user doesn't use profanity language you should just ignore it. Oh and you can't block someone who's abusive until they get their parcel back despite it being in transition. Avoid at all costs. They will not protect you and the people are rude and trying to make this place a 1£ online shop in which they can abuse you on your own money and time.

I bought a pair of Nike Air Force 1 on Vinted and when I got them, they were clearly fake shoes.
Confronted the seller who basically admitted that he never told me it were originals.
Even the UPC bar code is fake.

I sent all the pictures to proof to Vinted that it's a counterfeit item, they replied that it was not clear for them it were fake shoes and that I have to resend them to the seller on my own costs!

Basically Vinted is saying, thanks for paying your buyers protection, we have pocketed it well and now you're on your own!

I bought something which evri claimed the delivered when it hadn't been. I told vinted who decided to ignore it and release the funds anyway so I am now out my money and the item. This is not a reflection on the seller. I think being forced to pay buyer protection when they don't listen when you have a problem and just release the funds anyway is a joke. I am just glad it was a cheaper item and not something worth a lot more. The customer service is terrible and just told to fill in feedback that it then wouldn't accept. Absolute joke and will never use it again.

I have no Ups or Homer nearby but Vinted made it impossible to turn off these shipment methods. Also there is no way to contact them which is incredibly annoying. Please let us choose our shipment options that are convenient to us!

First time I'm not complaining about the courier or the seller but vinted the transaction website. They marked my item as delivered even though the courier and tracking information shows it isn't the case. They then only gave me 2 days to collect my parcel/raise issues before they close the case. When the actual courier had given me 5 days! It was dishonest and BBC watchdog have a piece on them! Don't use it's a scam!

Scammers

I have no words to describe how disappointing this platform is. The concept is amazing and if you are lucky enough for everything to run smoothly, all is good. However the moment you have any issues the customer service generates an automatic reply and no empathy is given or real solution to your problem. The protection fee is a total scam and getting a refund when buying something that was not completely delivered is a fairytale. Late replies and awful attitude. Never again
