Absolute rubish

Told them a week ogo house number was wrong kept saying carnt change it so order will go wrong address too much trouble for them to change number told me to go sort it out with people at that house number I do not no them service is garbage wud not recommend anybody buy from them

I am writing this review to let everyone know what appalling service this company provides as a customer who chose this company having been recommended by our plumber I am so disappointed at the treatment my plumber has experienced trying to change the sink cabinet which is badly damaged it was reported two weeks ago with photographs of the damage we still have a large box n the bathroom as we live in a bungalow with limited space I have witnessed my plumber making enquirerys as to how long he would have to wait for a replacement to start with it was fifteen minuets before he could speak to an advisor then he explained he had sent an email with photographs to show the damaged he also explained we were limited for space he was the promised a replacement would be sent on Wednesday its now Friday do you think this is fair to both me and my plumber I of course chase the plumber he the traces Victorian plumbing only to be told it will arrive next Monday I am so fed up of this bathroom and having just moved in two months ago I am thinking I should have just gone to the high street and bought my bathroom it would have been cheaper and okay not quite as eligant but at least it would have been finished two weeks ago so my advice to anyone thinking of buying from this company is don't do it the after sales service is extremely bad

Ordered £1000+ worth of goods. Delivered swiftly.
When bathroom fitter started fitting bath, he noticed panels dont fit. Clear sign of manufacturing fault.
Called Victorian Plumbing on a Wednesday, was asked to send photos which I did immediately on same day.

1. Was told I'd get a call within 48 hours by which then manufacturer confirms fault and would receive replacement within a week, no call on Friday so I called VP back.
2. Was told on Friday I'll get a call on Monday, no call on Monday. So I called on Tuesday but got cut off after waiting around 15mins
3. Received e-mail few hours later to say they are chasing manufacturer urgently.
4. Now Wednesday evening and still no news!
5. Till date no call from them, I've done the phoning!

More than a week and no replacement, not even news when I'm receiving a replacement. So likely to be another week!

They have photos showing the problem clearly, it takes someone with some basic knowledge of the bath probably 1 minute to see the problem!

Awful customer service!

Dont use! Scammers!

Dont use this company, very poor customer service! Ordered some tiles which were delivered on Saturday broken, notified them right away, still no call regarding replacements by the wednesday so after chasing them I was told they couldnt replace like for like as they had none left in stock for two weeks however I had booked the work for a week after delivery but my plumber isfully booked for the rest of the month. Instead of indemnifying me with similair tiles these scammers at Victorian Plumbing tried to charge me an extra nearly £200 for similair tiles following their error and not being able to provide like for like straight away. Absoloutely useless scammers. Would never use and never reccomend to anyone!

Absolutely no after sales service or warranty for the rubbish they sell! Two months of excuses and now were left to pay the bill to repair the cheaply made rubbish! The manager Adam Lennon should be an MP! Never answers a question just repeats the pathetic excuses that he's trained to give out! Avoid like the plague!

Appalling experience. Part of my order was not delivered and I embarked on a futile marathon of emails and calls to get it rectified. The order was for over £1,000 and the missing accessory for less than £100. They effectively implied I was lying by not replacing the missing item and added insult to injury with their bureaucracy and awful customer service. Never shop there. Better spend slightly more and avoid to deal with this 3rd rate 'merchants of Venice'

I was delivered faulty goods, it held up my project, cost me money and all they could say was sorry!... all i wanted was to have a replacement next day and they said they would try. Next day the same, 4 days later Ill get the replacement... absolute jokes. Supervisor had no power, I'm not even sure if it was a supervisor. I'll be writing a letter of complain, but I doubt anything will come of it. So angry with their lack of service.

Bought a shower from Victorian Plumbing and the plumber found it was faulty when he installed it. Contacted the company that day. Sent them photos of the fault. Suffice to say the Customer Services Section was dreadful - had to send a number of reminders to get any response. Finally they told me to contact the manufacturer, gave me an incorrect email address (it belonged to a consultancy firm!) and an irrelevant phone number. When I would not accept this 'solution' there was no response from them. I contacted them again to return the goods and seek a refund - again no response. As I am living outside the UK I contacted the European Consumer Centre who agreed to act as an intermediary. The ECC also reported them to Trading Standards. Thanks to them, I got my refund. I've contacted the manufacturer to let them know how this trader has behaved. Avoid at all costs!

Ordered a bath via telephone having seen it online. There was no mention of metal bracket legs for the bath by the customer service assistant nor the description online. The quality is substandard and they refuse to collect it stating that I have to be responsible for the costs of return. It is substandard - they should collect it. The said a manager would call me back - hasn't happened. Very poor customer service. AVOID!

I wish I had read these reviews before I bought from Victorian Plumbing. Now I realise I am just getting the same run around as everyone else. I bought a towel rail, paid an electrician to install it and it never worked. Reported it 3 weeks ago, sent photos as requested and electricians invoice and they have been stalling ever since. I feel sorry for the staff who have to carry out this appalling system which includes waiting for 12-15 other callers each time one calls. What can one do?

2 major issues, 1 after the other, for 1 single product and I was told I should have checked within 48h. It's shocking. I've had to wait for weeks for a resolution and it still does not work. Stay away from that business, I mean it. They are refusing to give me a refund when their product is faulty and my 39 weeks pregnant nearly got burnt.It's a disgrace.

Ordered 7 boxes of bathroom tiles. All boxes damaged and many of the tiles broken. Sent off photos showing damage 7 days ago, since then several telephone calls to the company all of which took at least 25 minutes on hold before I spoke to a representative. Feel I am being fobbed off. Was told an email had been sent to me but nothing. Have been promised a phone call, again nothing. Getting increasingly frustrated. Currently on telephone (caller no. 26 in a queue!) to ask for a refund. The worst company I have ever dealt with. Avoid at all costs.

One word 'TERRIBLE'!

Initial ordering and delivery went smoothly but things started to go wrong on unpacking items. First delay: the bath was smashed on corner as it wasn't packed properly, so had to wait for a new one to arrive. Then the instructions were so bad for installing the shower screen it took 7 hours and a phone call to the manufacturer to sort out, bath arrived and got it fitted with holes drilled for the taps, the taps had no seals and the o'rings kept splitting, after many many calls to both Viv plumbing and the manufacturer who sent spare parts we can finally have a bath but all these problems delayed the bathroom from being finished for a week, my plumber had to leave to start another job and now has to come back and finish the tiling. On top of this the taps we ordered to replace the faulty ones we wanted to return, VP approved the return and then sent us an email after receiving them to say they would not refund - another phone call and they will! This has been the worst and most frustrating experience I have ever had, VP want you to send pictures of faults by email and then you have to wait 2-4 days for them to deal with it and when you have a plumber booked to do a job which should take 2 weeks you cannot afford these delays so In the end we got the manufacturers numbers and phoned them direct. I would not recommend Victoria Plumbing to anyone, nor would any of the plumbers I have spoken to in my trips to various plumbing stores to source spare parts!

Appalling customer service. Bought 2 items, quality mediocre but ok for price - one was broken, arrived in broken and filthy packaging. You register complaint & replacement request, receive no acknowledgment, phone & find they have received and even though agree item broken ask for more photos to be uploaded and so on.
They are stalling to avoid their commitments. Absolutely avoid!

We bought a vanity unit with a Plaza Waterfall basin Tap + Waste. The basin tap came with a defect, small imperfection next to the water inlet that leaks, we have submit a claim, sent pictures, made several phone calls, we have been waiting for 2 weeks to get the tap replaced, their answer has been they are waiting for the manufacturer to respond (just excuses). They are pathetic, we did not buy the taps from the manufacturer, we bought them from Victorian Plumbing and we expect them to replace the faulty parts.

Dreadful - stay away

Shocking customer service - still not as bad as their products though. Cheap and nasty - shower head purchased which was faulty (spraying water from the top of the unit) - gave us a replacement which was also faulty. Asked for a replacement of greater value and they refused.

Stay away - there are much better places to go shopping for your bathroom bits.

Bad quality

Quality of all the steel products is not good. They look good in the beginning and have a good price but get rusted and are not resistant to any cleaning products (leaves black marks and spoils look). I am very surprise of good ratings of most of the products on their website - looks fake reviews

We ordered a bathroom suite to be delivered in early November with specfic date delivery (don't use this waste of time) we were never offered a delivery date. When this did turn up some of the goods were damaged and this was noted by the delivery driver. We still had to submit photos of the damage, some two weeks later a replacement was approved. We were told 2-5 days for delivery 9 days later still awaiting it and it's not being delivered for another 5. We phoned them again and somebody told us that this item was now out of stock. Would never use them again.
