Viaflights.uk has 1 customer review.
While searching for flight tickets online, I came across ViaFlights. UK, which appeared to offer the lowest fare compared to other platforms. I proceeded to book the ticket and promptly received a confirmation along with the ticket details. However, the following day, I received a call from one of their representatives informing me that due to a "technical glitch," the ticket was no longer available. I was told that to secure the same ticket, I would need to pay an additional £200. I refused, as the same flight was available on the airline's official website for less than what I had already paid, even after including the extra £200. The tone of the representative then changed. She mentioned she would speak to her manager and returned to the call with a revised offer, asking me to pay an additional £150 instead. I declined again and requested a full refund so I could book directly. At that point, I was told a cancellation fee would apply and that the refund would take 4–6 weeks to process. Still unconvinced, I reiterated that I would not pay the £150. She then offered me a £150 voucher as compensation. I requested to apply the voucher immediately toward the current ticket rather than for a future booking. After placing me on hold, she returned and said if I paid £109, I would receive the £150 voucher for future use. Reluctantly, I paid the additional amount, and the voucher was issued. Later, when I attempted to use the voucher for another booking, I found a ticket priced at £330 on their website. However, there was no option to apply the voucher during checkout. I called customer support to ask how to use it, and after confirming the voucher amount, the agent asked which ticket I was trying to book. When I told him it was the £330 option listed on their site, he informed me that if I wanted to use the voucher, the ticket would cost £490. He explained that the originally listed fare was already discounted and therefore ineligible for voucher use. I mentioned that the same fare was available on the airline's site, and questioned how it could be classified as a "discounted" price. He responded curtly, saying "that's how it is," and then ended the call. After this experience, I reviewed the company on various consumer platforms and found numerous similar complaints. It appears this is a consistent pattern in how they operate. I strongly urge anyone reading this review to avoid this company and protect yourself from potential fraud.
